At the start of the expansion I played a Renogg Jacksaron deck. It doesn't win very much any more now that people have refined their WoTOG decks but it was probably the most fun deck I ever played.

Reno is probably my favorite card. Love playing decks with 30 different cards, and having huge hands to choose from. Renolock is always fun but renoRogue is also very fun. You get auto-concedes when you shadow step/bloodthistle Reno.

I made a Freeze Mage deck with Reno, C'thun and Yogg. I call it Rich Old Gods and it works pretty well.

I was about to make that same comment. That entire game was awful on Kripp's part. He literally could've just played a flamewaker and arcane missiles and hero power to achieve the same result except he'd have a flamewaker on the board and two more arcane missiles to use later. That play was god awful.
Kripp ive got rank 3 off only playing RenoLock... Its not a ladder problem its the time required to learn all its matchups. Its easily the best deck in the game.
At 17:21, why not play Arcane missiles to kill the silver hand recruit, then ping your own face to bring you to 8 hp? When ragnaros attacks you, you get some value out of ice block, since you only take 5 damage of fatigue the next turn. That's when you play Reno and heal for 29. You could have lived another turn.
Reno Jackson Story: My opponent is Mage. I had superb micro machine dealing 11 damage. He will be dead next turn. He pulls Reno from an Unstable Portal. He somehow has just one copy of each card. He heals to 30. I lost that game. Never lucky

I'm playing Reno Mage right now and I've been having probably the best ladder experience I've had in a long time even going as far as to go through a evolve shamans full deck while still having 10 cards half and half in my deck and in hand
Also why play ronin without arch-Mage antonidas you pretty much get 3 free fireballs (try saying that 3 times fast)

Reno is in my favorite deck atm. Triple Old God Rogue! You should try it out Kripp. It will give you sooooo many youtube highlights!
Reno is the savior hearthstone needed for it to have an option to counter aggressive decks.
I tried a Reno Mage with C'thun, N'zoth and Elise. It did well, surprisingly. (And by well i mean 70% winrate against aggro and 50% overall).

Reno only extinguished face decks for a few weeks after coming out. A while later Aggro Shaman, Secret Pally and Face Hunter were all over the place.
What happened? People realized that Reno is inconsistent.

When the wotog came out I won almost every game with face hunter,it would be a good idea to try it and review it.
I miss my Renodin deck, I considered trying to rebuild it for standard but it just wouldn't be the same.

if u love cards u have to build ur deck around so much, try the incredible control rogue. reno + ctun + nzoth. so much value..... sometimes u win extremely easily, sometimes u just get rekt by aggro. is fun to play, not extremely good although it got me to rank 8.

i found that the reno mage deck performed better than the warlock n this meta. ice block is super powerful against the otk decks with reno afterwards for obvious reasons and the amount of freeze card makes the zoo decks pretty much everyones playing nowadays a breeze

Would've thought Antonidas would've made a showing in this list. Even if you only get 1 or 2 fireballs off of him, that's still pretty good value for a single card. Probably more than a Rhonin would really achieve, though I don't own Rhonin so I wouldn't be able to test that.

kionashi Ah that's true. Well I don't have N'zoth either, so...doesn't apply to me, haha. So I guess if you don't have Rhonin or N'zoth, Antonidas plus some other card would probably be better...?
The problem is activators. You only have Frostbolt, Arcane Blast, Arcane Intellect, Frost Nova, and Ice Block since there's no Emperor.
Of those activators 2 are heavily relied on in the early game, 1 is part of a combo(nova+doomsayer), and the last two should be played whenever you have 3 mana available. The only way to activate Antonidas in this deck would be a dead Rhonin, and that requires cutting the only taunt in the deck: Shoggoth.
@13:49 how does he know that it kills sylvanas and it is going to MC his flamewaker before it actually happens? where on the screen does it show that information before the animations happen?

11:06 When you used missiles, why didn't you play flamewaker? you had 6 mana, and it's essentially 2 extra missiles per spell, could have saved you a missile and it's extra RNG - I might be wrong, I'm not a pro, but I'm just wondering why this play? Maybe I'll find out in like 2 minutes xD
