@@1280-user a reminder is ok, but when people are constantly telling you what to do, they get angry and leave Islam. Not everyone has the same opinions about profile pictures and whatnot, so you shouldn't just tell people to do that. Just a gentle reminder will do. It's enough that you just tell them.

It's always good to ask questions about the Quran to scholars, because with the answers you can strengthen your faith, but also remember to not go too far

I got this authentic hadeeth:
Anas reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) had in one of his journeys his black slave who was called Anjasha along with him. He goaded by singing the songs of camel-driver. Thereupon Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said:
*Anjasha, drive slowly as you are driving (the mounts who are carrying) glass vessels*

This is obviously awesome and I literally loved hearing it again and again...Ma Sha Allah....I remember when my teacher "Sir Shakir" taught me Surat Ahzab, he also pointed out that when we reached that versa....Once again in another verse Allah Subhan wa taala say "He who commits evil will not be rewarded but with the same measure. And whoever behaves piously, whether male or female, and is a believer as well, it is they who will enter Paradise. There they will be given sustenance without measure." [Ghāfir, 40:40]

At 4:22 The Qur'an is quoted from Chapter 49 Verse 13 as "... in the side of your lord..." but the correct translation is "... in the *sight of your lord...".

This video alone is an answer to all my questions n many ppl qsns regarding women getting half reward or the hoor ul ayn for men hadiths. Surely hadiths are important but Allah swt has clearly stated in the Quran that muslim righteous women will get their equal reward n they vl be happy n content with it. I trust my Lord n have no more doubts regarding this topic anymore. Moreover my first concern as a muslim is saving myself from the hellfire after death..That is the first priority for me ❤

Yes. Especially Q 4:24 where Allah allows married Muslim men to r a p e married women captured in battle. This is explained clearly in the tafsirs, sahih hadiths and Sharia. Do you think the countless women to whom this was done over the centuries felt cared for by Allah?
Muhairiz said “I entered the mosque and saw Abu Sa’id Al Khudri. I sat with him and asked about withdrawing the penis (while having intercourse). Abu Sa’id said We went out with the Apostle of Allah on the expedition to Banu Al Mustaliq and took some Arab women captive and we desired the women for we were suffering from the absence of our wives and we wanted ransom, so we intended to withdraw the penis (while having intercourse with the slave women). But we asked ourselves “can we draw the penis when the Apostle of Allah is among us before asking him about it? So we asked him about it. He said “it does not matter if you do not do it, for very soul that is to be born up to the Day of Resurrection will be born.” - Sahih Abi Dawud 2172
Tafsir al-Tabari on 4:24: Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri said, "We captured some women from the area of Awtas who were already married, and we disliked having sexual relations with them because they already had husbands. So, we asked the Prophet about this matter, and this Ayah was revealed, (Also (forbidden are) women already married, except those whom your right hands possess). Consequently, we had sexual relations with these women.
Al-Jalalayn: save what your right hands own, of captured [slave] girls, whom you MAY HAVE sexual intercourse with, EVEN IF they should have spouses among the enemy camp
Ibn Kathir: (except those whom your right hands possess) except those whom you acquire through war, for you are allowed such women
Ibn ‘Abbâs: save those (captives) whom your right hands possess) of captives, EVEN IF they have husbands in the Abode of War
This is also explained and allowed in Sharia, which you can read in the Sharia manual The Reliance of the Traveller (section K32:3).

Today one of the most important question in my head has been answered JAZAKALLAH ♥But i could never ask that people will think I'm questioning Allah's rules that's what we here or they say "you're just a feminist" and insult When Allah himself made us equal. All praise to Allah.
Hence i have another question they say MEN HAS UPPERHAND ON WOMEN BECAUSE HE IS THE BREAD EARNER what if both earn and what if Women earn also if men earn does he really have high level or upper hand?
It’s a duty upon man to earn and look after his family, whereas for the woman it’s a choice…. He has to provide for the family and that puts him in a position to decide for the family ! But of course no one can impose anything on the other!
@Sam Khan 1. Muslim women are not supposed to 'obey' their husband. They obey Allah only.
- Maybe you read the translation and interpretation of sexist scholars who seem to portray that. But Allah is clear in the Quran that all Muslims obey him ONLY. Humans do not obey other mere humans.
- This is a closer translation:
[4:34] The men are made responsible for the women, and God has endowed them with certain qualities, and made them the bread earners. The righteous women will cheerfully accept this arrangement ..
- This verse never implied women have to obey men. In the verse below, this is shown:
[Quran 33:35] The submitting men, the submitting women, the believing men, the believing women, the obedient men, the obedient women, the truthful men, the truthful women, the steadfast men, the steadfast women, the reverent men, the reverent women, the charitable men, the charitable women, the fasting men, the fasting women, the chaste men, the chaste women, and the men who commemorate God frequently, and the commemorating women; God has prepared for them forgiveness and a great recompense.
(Note in the verse above, Allah mentions 'obedient men', 'obedient women' - this verse shows that we obey Allah only. Allah show in many of his verses that women and men are equals to each other and he treats them as equals:
2. Allah says: “And for women are rights over men similar to those of men over women.” (2: 228).
3. [Quran 3:195] Their Lord responded to them: 'I never fail to reward any worker among you for any work you do, be you male or female - you are equal to one another. Thus, those who immigrate, and get evicted from their homes, and are persecuted because of Me, and fight and get killed, I will surely remit their sins and admit them into gardens with flowing streams.' Such is the reward from God. God possesses the ultimate reward.
4. [Quran 9:71] The believing men and women are allies of one another. They advocate righteousness and forbid evil, they observe the Contact Prayers (Salat) and give the obligatory charity (Zakat), and they obey God and His messenger. These will be showered by God's mercy. God is Almighty, Most Wise.
(Allies = equals, there is no superior or inferior among allies, allies are allies simply, they support each other. And the two sexes can support each other only when there is mutual respect and empathy. Men thinking they are superior and women must 'obey' them result in violence instead of allyship - that is why Allah made it clear trhough many verses how he treats women as equals to men).
5. “Whoso does good whatever male or female, and is a believer, shall enter Paradise and they shall not be wronged a whit.” (4:125)
6. [Quran 9:72] God promises the believing men and the believing women gardens with flowing streams, wherein they abide forever, and magnificent mansions in the gardens of Eden. And God's blessings and approval are even greater. This is the greatest triumph.

Female Imams (and males supporting them) is one such example of people reading the Quran better and knowing the truth.
Yes a lot of sexist and misogynistic Muslims hate feminism and use 'feminist' as an insult. It is only because they themselves do not know their Quran.
The Qur'an has already made it clear Allah treats men and women as equals. So feminism / gender equality / women rights and dignity should not disturb the good Muslims.
On the other hand, patriarchy (which treats men as superiors and treat women as inferiors or property) has NOTHING to do with Islam. If anything, these men should start questioning their own beliefs and behaviours and go read the entire Qur'an.
Unfortunately, rich corrupt scholars have mistranslated and misinterpreted a lot of verses that is why these men act like this. But the Quran makes it clear not to follow soothsayers and hypocrites who pretend to be Muslims but actually reject Allah's guidance.
Men do not have 'the upper hand' in a relationship. If anything they are bounded by more rules to be kind towards the wife. Kindness does not imply authority and forcing decisions on the wife.
Allah classifies men and women as equals (verse 3:195) and encourages women and men to be allies (verse 9:71) and further encourages both men and women to enjoin in Good in the same verse. These imply that both the woman and man have decision-making power in both relationships and in society.
Unfortunately corrupt men have forbidden women from actively participating in enjoining good and has often restricted women to the domestic sphere (where there is little to no chance of contributing to society - hence little to no chance of 'enjoining in good' in society as 'allies'. The word used in Quran for the partners of paradise is gender neutral. Both men and women will get the same rewards.

Women is the guardian angel in earth have careful heart and a smart mind she heals and protects her family and the 2nd family(her kids and husband) without them there is no care to the children of Allah
Men is the knight in earth have strong heart have strong mind protects his country(solider) and mostly his family,cares for the children of Allah

One thing i dont understand is that why did allah make women the way that he has made them i mean giving them all these 'attractive' features and then asked her to cover herself completely, while men are not told to cover themselves the way women have been to. Why are women told to stay at home, not go outside and do all that stuff, why did he create women only to tell them to live like this while the men are allowed to do whatever they want, they can go outside, wear whatever they wanna wear and have only been told to cover a small area of themselves. Wht did allah do this? I know I'm not worthy of asking such questions, i mean who am i to question allah but these are bound to arise in someone's mind. I hope somebody helps me out and clears these questions of mine.
Who said women couldn't go out? They can go out, even men have to cover themselves and wear proper clothing, not just women, there are reasons in every situation that involves women covering themselves, a woman is a beautiful creature, so for her to keep her beauty is to cover it not because of men but because her beauty is for her own blessing nor for anyone to see, not any men deserved to see it, mens easily get distracted even women get distracted when they see a handsome man too, but covering is an order from God, and there is ton.

@@lilykenley9104 Yes, they can go outdoors at any time, even if they are alone its absolutely fine , but at midnight, they must be with someone by her side, whether it is her sister, a friend, or anybody, this is a standard in Islam, but saying they can't get out much is a cultural force that has nothing to do with Islam.

@@lilykenley9104 To be honest, I hated it too It ruined a lot of things that are acceptable to do within women, and the fact that men always take things as women in culture that have nothing to do with Islam and are therefore not mentioned, the fact that there is no proof that women can't do this or that, they just made it up out of their ego, it's disgusting.

The question that haunts me is that why all the pain goes to women in case of reproduction... The pregnancy, period cramps, etc.
Ofcourse a mom has higher position than the dad, but what about the choking discomforts of the menstruations of a woman who cannot be a mom?
And the concept of iddah also makes some ambiguities. Why only women.. if it wasn't a happy marriage how can one observe sorrow of being apart..
Though i accept all the commands of Allah, it would be great if i get some clarification on these matters.
May Allah guide all of us.
About iddah, it is to make sure the woman is not pregnant and also to mourn for the end of the marriage (in the case of divorce) because Islamically, marriage is a blessing from Allah to women as through it, we are provided for etc, and in the case of her husband's death, out of honour for him.
As far as I know it's not about mourning or anything bcz marriage is a blessing to both of them and if that was the case then men would also do idda, and if someone is divorcing then no doubt remaining single or marrying someone else is better than that marriage so nothing about sorrow or anything it's just about to know whether the woman is pregnant or not if she comes out to be pregnant before the idda ends her idda ends automatically cz the aim is achieved.
And for that kids, it's okay for a woman to not have kids, but it's like that she is relieved from the pain of giving birth and all, but it doesn't mean that the man is not going to earn money for her, whether he works at a construction site or whatever he has to earn money for her but she doesn't have to do tarbiyah of kids she can easily focus on her studies and career, any other doubt is most welcome.

The period of iddat is not only for sorrow but to confirm the chances the women isnt pregrant. If she is pregrant then her iddat is stretched to 9 months till the child is born. It is to prevent forceful marriage after death of husband.

In arabic, there are the masculine and feminine pronouns. Feminine pronouns are strictly feminine while masculine ones can be used for masculine use and mixed. In arabic, when we refer to someone we know nothing about, we refer to them using male pronouns, meaning they can be a man or woman. But if we use female pronouns, it is definitely a female. There are no non-binary pronouns or references in arabic, that's just how it works. I hope this helped!
