Thank you SO MUCH for this- I'm working in an area where the majority of apartment complexes are stocked with these little smartkey lock pains... very interesting technique, thanks so much and I look forward to mastering this lock series!!!
Appreciate the video. I’m having some difficulty getting the shim right and your breakdown really helps.
Nicely done. Great explanation. Congratulations!
Not an easy lock to pick...that's all I really need with so many other ways to get into my house. Thanks, great video.
Nicely done Sir, best vid yet
Nice job, not enough people going after this lock!
Nice work and explanation ..
Nicely done my friend good explanation great Joe I have a kwikset smart key with a sloppy Core👍😊👍😊😎✌✌
really good explanation. thank you.
Thanks for the vid.I just picked up my 1st Smartkey ta try an pick. Thing has whooped me thus far. But wasn't sure if it was gen 1,2 or 3. Now that I seen the difference I know I have a 1 or 2. That will help in my approach. Keep them coming bud an have a safe 4th...
Just discovered your channel! Gonna binge watch your videos, but I wanted to see if you did the other generations of this lock.
1:50 That little hole looks familiar. Is that a Smart Thumb?
Nice job man!
holy shit!! Good picking!!
Just got a pick set the other day and have been picking any lock i can get my hands on, but when i tensioned a kwiky i thought it was broke or i was going crazy..er.
Nice job
Great job I really like the smartkey designs
#3 KwikSet master pin blocks that hole with ball bearing in Gen 3.
How do you know the pins set? Do they bind like pin locks?
Does this technique work on gen 1 and 2 as well?
Can this be done while using a Lishy?
👍👍👍👍👍
Okidoki
Seems like a flathead screwdriver would be a bit faster since the pins in that stupid lock are all plastic......
took mine apart- no plastic pins

Ridiculous. As a locksmith these things are a nuisance and will cost customers more for a lockout. Because I’m not going to pick this pos. I’m going to drill it off the door and charge them for a new lock.
Or you just buy the decoder and cut the key
I never ever drill
You can decode with a Lishi KW1 and cut a key. Search for "kilo" locksmith video.
Learned absolutely nothing
It's unfortunate that you're learning disabled. We're all very sorry to hear it. You keep trying and do your best to refrain from licking windows and lay off of eating crayons little buddy.
You have to have a foundation of picking knowledge first. This is an advanced video.
