Absolutely love the fact that this Captain chooses to hand fly the aircraft to altitude!! Awesome!! We as a commercial pilot community are loosing our stick and rudder skills with all modern automation in the cockpit these days. It's always great to see pilots taking the time, especially on clear VFR days, to hand fly the airplane past the usual 1,000 feet AGL. Again, great job, Captain. I would fly with you any day.
Thank you for these videos, they help me when flight school gets tough, and they give me energy and power to work hard again and again! Have a good flight cpt💪🏻
I just discovered your videos and they are fantastic! 54 years old here, passed my single engine IFR check ride last week, my commercial a few years ago and decided to do my twin IFR next year. Never too old to try and these videos inspire me 100%! Bravo!
I love the moment the plane starts it's takeoff and then it lifts up, also love the spectacular views, it's like I'm actually there in the cockpit seeing and experiencing everything. Sir I would feel safe with you as my Captain.
@anitamiller7960 Because hand flying skills can be the difference between life and death in aircraft. Many accidents are related to pilots being dependent on AP and not realizing the aircraft is in trouble until it's too late due to AP use. BTW...I really wish this pilot would post more vids. He's got some excellent content.
Great video mate! Love YVR, can be some very scenic departures/arrivals when the weather is nice. That was a long roll out, you must of been heavy? Good luck to our brother in the hospital. Keep the videos coming.
Sorry for the non tech terms, but what are those spinney things just below the throttle controls? They seem to come alive when you take off or, sometimes land. Just wondering.
Another great vid! Thanks! ✈ On a side and semi-unrelated note: Any phlebotomists watching are no doubt in love with your arms! 😍💉#BloodDraws James: Wishing you a speedy and full recovery! 💪

Thanks Buddy! Yes, I try to hand fly when I have a chance) stick and rudder + automation knowledge is the key)

Hope you enjoy flying the MAX, love those big PFD screens. 737 seems like a hot engined airplane.
Thanks Aaron! I enjoy all of them from 200 to 900 to MAX)
It is so refreshing to see you hand fly and not go to the auto pilot right after take off.
jamesg.08...Wishing you a Speedy recovery...❤❤❤
Thank you 😊🙏🏻🫶
Thank you 🙏
@@Jam3s08 Your welcome...
Yes it is. So many of these pilots are quick to hit the AP. Glad to see that’s not the case here.

When I turn 17 im going to flight school so right now im only studying but i can't wait to go tho!
Great video!! I love that cockpit 😍😍. If you have the option to choose between the 737 max or the a320 neo which one will you choose??
Thank you! I haven’t flown anything but 73, so can’t compare) but I enjoy 73 a lot)
@@flymax Thanks for the answer 😊😊
I have a good friend that has flown both planes. He flew B-52s in the airforce and he said that he likes the Max the most.
I love seeing hand flying 💪🏾
Whats the highest Altitude on decent you hand flown down to Runway?
Thanks, love it too) Happened when the AP had an MEL restriction on it’s use so I had to fly manually the whole flight:)
My dad flies 737s for delta, there one of my favorite planes
Get well soon 🙏🏾
Thank you 🙏
god thats beautiful
I agree:)
Hopefully the next video would be full atc communication starting from parking stand to runway 😊
well if you request it will be:)
@@flymax thank you so much captain 🙏🏻☺️
What airline do you fly for if you don’t mind
What cameras do you use
What airline is this ? I cannot make out for the ATC communications .
What do you use to record?
the 737 is the pilots favourite aircraft
True)
What airline do you fly for if your able to say!?
Sorry for the non tech terms, but what are those spinney things just below the throttle controls? They seem to come alive when you take off or, sometimes land. Just wondering.
Mechanical trim wheels, watch the Captain's left thumb.
What's Your opinion on B737 MAX? Did You choose to do TR by popularity/possibilites or was it something else?
Hi there. May I ask you which camera you use to record this?
sure, GoPro12
Another great vid! Thanks! ✈

I live in Vancouver.
Bir gün bende o koltukta oturmak için çok çalışacağım ✈👩✈️🧑✈️
The titel says TAC instead of ATC.
Thanks Boss, corrected it🤝🙏
what airline
Lynx. 😊
what did he say when aircraft just lift off? positive duff?
Positive rate. When a positive rate is observed on the vertical speed indicator, it is time to retract the landing gear.
the Captain side camera DESTROYED the video.... why didn't you show the whole cockpit view during takeoff.... what a pity.
Relax lol
Muito Bom. Saudações.
Your copilot didn’t read back flaps 1 and flaps up. 🤷🏼♂️
I know, that's not in the SOP
