having played like 20 hours myself, I can say that the AI varies between extremely un-aware to "I CAN SMELL YOU AROUND THE CORNER". I think a lot of it is because of how janky some of the powers and controls can be, so they had to choose between making the AI "too realistic" and have you getting manhunted constantly, or "too dumb" which is what we currently have. it's not terrible though it works ok

Resident Evil 6 had this feature, where you could spawn in on other players games as the zombies/monsters and try to kill the players before they can finish the chapters but because of how bad the servers were for that game, none of the extra game modes worked too well other than the mercenaries mode.

The green gas is explosive. That is why it seems like a lot of enemies have bombs strapped to them when you are using the pistol with gas rounds. any gunfire inside the gas sets it off

I feel like the idea for the multiplayer would be really cool for a hitman game or something, but the catch being the other hitman has to escape as well
Yeah it will be amazing working as two mercenaries who have to hunt a single target. A Hitman game should be like you're either the Hitman, or the guard 💂 who has to protect the victim.

They only know what they can see, they know your last seen position and predict where you could be, they flank all of the time, they know how to control all space of the map, knowing which area is dangerous or safe for them and for the enemy, and what angles are better to hold dynamically, as you move in the map. they know target priority, shooting at the most vulnerable and dangerous target on sight. They can prepare traps if you come in into their space too early. ...what did you play that was so bad?

Even online once invaded u can send the enemy back home or use item that allowes enemies to target your opponent. You can do 100% without Invasion system(though drop rate for convenant items are ASS :D ). The only great upside for Deathloop that i found when i played it is ability to turn Friends Only. I am happy with the system but to say it's better or more complex than Dark Souls is a strech. Very rarely i had fun being invaded. I dont want to play hide-and-seek in fast paced FPS games... and if its sort of hide-and seek. Then why cant I stealth kill another player just like i can wiht npc? Sneaking in PVP makes barely any sense in a game that vast majority is about stealth.

The ai is the same as Dishonored 2 it just starts off with a really low fov and slow reaction time but as you progress the dynamic difficulty kicks in. Still not ground breaking ai but not as brain dead as they are in this video. The dynamic difficulty with the AI is cool but I don't know why the devs just didn't add the option to start with the ai more harder like in dishonored 2.
I bought it on pc and the game crashes every time I try to equip attachments on my guns but the gameplay is fun and the time loop mechanic is pretty cool

The AI does get better the more loops you do. It is also supposed to learn off player tendencies.

I was so excited then I see how stupid the AI are, was hoping for a new Bioshock/Dishonored-esque game
The ai is the same as Dishonored 2 it just starts off with a really low fov and slow reaction time but as you progress the dynamic difficulty kicks in. Still not ground breaking ai but not as brain dead as they are in this video. The dynamic difficulty with the AI is cool but I don't know why the devs just didn't add the option to start with the ai more harder like in dishonored 2.

I bought it on pc and the game crashes every time I try to equip attachments on my guns but the gameplay is fun and the time loop mechanic is pretty cool

@@desensitized personally i think it’s worth the full price but it really appealed to me so i don’t speak for everyone obv, it’s a really creative game once you look past all it’s technical issues atm (i really don’t mind technical issues but a lot of people do so definitely wait until they fix that, and it’s Arcane so they will)

you should try We Happy Few. it's a post apocolyptic kind of thing where you have to take drugs to be happy or people try to kill you. it's a great game kind of similar to this one but more puzzles and shit

Deathloop is made by the same team who created Dishonored, so I'm not surprised that it plays close to it. The team who made Dishonored is called Arkane Lyon. I might pick up Deathloop since it looks kinda fun.
Finally someone who knows Arkane made this game. So many dimwits think Bethesda made it.
I watched a whole playthrough already and knew the ai wasn't great etc, but it still looked okay. This just makes me not want to waste my money now

Yeah it tries to do a lot of things, but broken AI really makes it sort of a game u wont comeback to after finishing it.
