Union Pacific Big Boy 4014 Prepping for the 2024 Westward Bound Tour

The Union Pacific Steam Crew finished washing 4014 & the tender. Then 4015 (Silver Slippers) began moving the cars into position for the tour the next day.

support cars are a day late they will meet up with at Rawlins Big Boy does not need dynamics until Creston so they can run light #844 did it but that was before PTC.

@@geomodelrailroader Do they need the Home Plate Special to return to Cheyenne, or do they have enough heritage cars for both trains? I know one of their diesels hauled it to Omaha like a week or two ago IIRC.

they were for the old turbine engines. Those were fuel tenders, now used for water.
