First scrap bag is Morning Light was designed by Linzee Kull McCray and was released in January of 2022. Second scrap bag is Daffodils and Dragonflies designed by Kansas Troubles Quilter and released in September 2022. Third scrap bag is Promenade by 3 Sisters and was released in April 2022. It was fun seeing your scrap bags! Have fun!

I am going to have to look for some yardage now so I can make either a jelly roll quilt or a scrappy quilt. I have been pondering over this bag this last week wanting to get into it but now sure what to make.
Love them!! I've used them several times. I did get 3 bags of Christmas once and they were wonderful! Made a scrappy strip quilt and matching pillow.
I am going to get more after I use these 3. I really do like the variety that is included.

I would love to do a selvage bag but looks like I will be purchasing many more to get enough selvage. I've been keeping the selvage from all my yardage that I purchase as well.

That first bag reminded me of the Flowers for Freya line…same designer as Morning Light
I will definitely do a little more research on it when I get to pull it out and work a project with it but I know I loved all the bags.

I was amazed at what came in the bags.
The "dark" color roll are all civil war fabrics, very beautiful. There are so many wonderful patterns you cana use for the jelly rolls..
I have been looking at patterns to use with my scrap bags - do you have one in particular that you recommend? I absolutely love jelly rolls and always looking for more patterns to use.

Fat quarter shop has flash sales daily. Missouri Star has Daily Deals. I suggest keeping an eye on these shops for discounted fabrics.

I don't think you can go wrong with Moda. Everything I have ever gotten from them is fabulous.
Wish I could get these scrap bags but postage too expensive to Australia, but love watching your opening and going through the fabrics, you present very well and easy to hear.❤

I got one like the third bag and I could only cut squares because of it being cut against the grain. I purchased them from quilt in a day they run good sales on them and you can submit requests ant they try to give you what you want

You got a really good cut. I saw one that the salvage was the LOF and so she lost up to 1 1/2" of the strip. Great colors!
Yes the bags had a good bit of fabric and the pieces with selvage I will be making a quilted bag out of the selvage.

I am completely amazed by what was in these 3 bags.
The Morning Light fabric by Linzee McCray, you can still get some coordinating fabrics from Fat Quarter Shop but don’t delay too long. It’s an older line.

Those could be cut into 2 1/2 squares for piecing.
I was thinking the same thing and even thinking I could even make a scrappy jelly roll because all pieces are wof.
This bag must be scraps from jelly rollcutting the others you mentioned would be scraps from layer cake cutting

Lori Holt is under Riley Blake Designs and not Moda. These scrap bags however are very nice
Ok. I didn't really know how the scrap bags worked but now putting my thinking hat on that makes sense. Still beautiful fabrics and so pleased with what I received.
@@myhobbyhomelife they are probably the best scrap bags I have ever seen. I am new to quilting also and it took me awhile to figure out how the designers worked. I think…and believe me I could be totally wrong… but I think that there are fabric designers and then there are design houses. Moda is a design house and they have a ton of designers like Bunny Hill Designs, Camille Ross Kelley, Fig Tree Designs etc. Riley Blake is a design house, Lori Holt designs for them. Hope that makes sense. I have to say, I do love me some Lori Holt, but I also have some Camille Ross Kelley and some Bunny HILL Designs fabric from Moda.
@@patriciahunter1566 yes it is taking me a bit to figure out how all the designers work and who falls under who. I love all kinds of fabrics - I can't say I have a favorite but I do lean towards Fig Tree & Co and Bunny Hill Designs a lot.

I got them online but can't recall exactly. I love the Moda scrap bags. I have a quilt project in mind for them.

@@myhobbyhomelife The Moda scrap bags that I received through Amazon were great! All 3 bags were jelly rolls with no savage edges. They are beautiful. I'm going to order more. Thank you for sharing your videos. I'm a quilter and handbag maker. With tons of fabric like Joann's. LOL.. I know I don't need any more fabric but I like purchasing fabric. Take care.

That extra light changes the color and washes it out.

Craft Bunch on Amazon is who I purchased this set from and I must say I am impressed.
I see jelly roll rugs out of these.
I see maybe a scrappy quilt or scrappy border. Me and jelly roll rugs don't do well together. I have yet to figure out how to get that first curve to lay flat.

These are scrapbags. I normally order mine through Green Fairy Quilts but you can find them through a lot of quilt shops.
