I love Grunge - I use it mostly for backgrounds and backings. I like to get the 108" especially when they have it on special, 3 yards of 108" for $25...I'll get every color they have it on special. I'm also doing three Cotton Cuts in large BOM: Tula Pink and both Alison Glass variations. I've changed the background for one of the Alison Glass projects. I'm doing the Fat Quarter Shop Pressed Flowers BOM, a couple of Halloween BOM's, Erica Arndt's BOM and I finished Carolina Moore's 2023 calendar, liked it so much I'm doing it all over again! Carolina Moore's is the only advent quilt calendar I do because you get a daily pattern and template. She doubled the patterns this year for anyone who wants to make a bigger quilt with different blocks and you use the same templates. Also doing the Art East Wonderland BOM. BOM's work great for me because I'm easily bored. Flat Chuck has come in my boxes this month because of their anniversary - I hope you got a discount through Andrea's Arkansas Gals. I've gotten 15% off each order this month (three) but I'm not sure when it expires. Cute fabric, are you going to back it in minky, flannel or cotton? Thanks for haul video - I love seeing what everyone gets. MSQC is 3.5 hours from my house, I haven't been but I have made it to Hickory Stick in Hannibal which is a really nice shop. Lots of site seeing to do in that area also.

Wow that is a lot of BOM you are doing! I wish I had the time to do more but I don't and I was looking at Carolina Moore's advent just a few days ago. I am thinking about adding it to my list of to do's. I do love the grunge and think it would make a great backing piece as well. That is probably what I am going to switch to for backing. For the backing, the baby quilt will be backed in cotton as I am sure this will be more for tummy time. I have another baby quilt going that is minky backed. I did get Andrea's discount and plan on using it again soon.

Oh Darlin, you really need to go to Hamilton, Missouri and visit all the stores. My husband and I went there about 6 years ago on our way to Montana and stopped again on our way back home in Tennessee. I got my picture taken with Ms. Jenny and she is as sweet in person as she is on her videos. You will be in fabric and notion Heaven. The town is adorable. Your grandson's quilt will be gorgeous. I am awake in the middle of the night sewing on an EPP project. This is the second video of yours that I have seen but will watch more.

It is the best though! I love having so many going but they can overwhelm me at times.

I just made a mondo bag using a charm pack purchase from Missouri Star that's one of the online shops I purchased fabric from and majority of the fabric is charm packs.

These are meant for a baby quilt that I am so excited to make but I have been seeing bags made out of the charm packs.

I make labels out of heat transfer vinyl. I have a Silhouette Cameo.

Does that work well? I thought of doing that on my quilts but I don't want something that after years of washing will come off.

@@myhobbyhomelife So far, they've held up pretty well, but I’ve only been quilting for three years. I do have shirts I’ve made with HTV that I wash pretty often that while the design is cracked, nothing has come off. I think it would depend on the font used, too. I also don't wash my quilts that often. They don’t get very dirty.
