This family did NOT use him for monetary gain like he’s claiming… he’s known about the conservatorship since he signed it as mentioned in his 2011 book he published. The family hasn’t used his name or likeness to profit off him nor made financial decisions for him. They also proved he got an equal cut from the movie in a 5 way split. The betrayal Oher is showing is heartbreaking and quite frankly disgusting.

That argument is old and explained. What part of "didn't know what a conservatorship was don't you it understand?" And what are you talking about? These people went around the country speaking about the Oher situation. You thought they did it for free? No one should be surprised.

So let me see if I've got this timeline straight. In 2011, Michael Oher talks about the Tuohys conservatorship with him *three times* in his autobiography and CLAIMS he was told it was basically the same as an adoption. 10 years go by. For MONTHS back in 2021, news of Britney Spears' terrible conservatorship was plastered all over the news and the internet... with most stories starting out by defining what a conservatorship is. EVERYONE now knows it's nothing like an adoption. A judge finally dissolves Spears' nasty arrangement in November of 2021 and it's all over the media again.
2 YEARS later in 2023, Michael Oher says that he only found out the difference between a conservatorship and an adoption in *February of that year* .... and expects us to believe that? Please... So where was he all through 2021.... living in a cave? Michael Oher is a LIAR and a greedy, backstabbing, ungrateful POS

    • @ashian23x46

@@harrynutzach307 See, it doesn't matter if you believe him, or whether his timing of coming forward with his story meets your approval. Or did he really know what a conservatorship meant or not. It's your choice what to believe. What does matter is they tricked him like it was an adoption. They tried to say they never told him it was an adoption, but had it plastered on their website. It matters that they went around the country, collecting speaking fees, set up foundations, writing books, on talk shows, settings up deals, sold his rights to make money from his name and image. He alleged he didn't get a dime from none of it. Now if you wanna argue something, argue whether he's lying about not receiving his fair share from events that never should've done without his approval. It's obvious why you're taking the Touhey's side. It's okay..we expect that.

The Tuohy family have hearts of not gold, but Diamonds! May God bless everyone of them🙏❤
They took him in, fed, and clothed him, gave him a room for himself; something which he never had.
They showed him love, especially Mrs. Tuohy; she loved him as her own child!
They're the ones who're responsible for him being who he has become today! May God bless them for their kindness 🙏❤️🌹
Many people might now think twice about helping others (that much) that might be in a similar situation as Michael was in.
If Michael Oher has a conscience, he'll not sleep very well throughout the nights. He's an ungrateful man! God sees and knows everything, so he'll deal with Michael.

    I'd bet money on this
1 - He hasn't worked since 2016 so has no real income coming in.
2 - He's trying to maintain a semblance of his lifestyle spending during the NFL.
3 - He's running out of money like many ex-ballers do who can't handle finances.
4 - Someone is in his ear (money manager or lawyer) who gave him this idea, so they can make a profit off of him as well.

    • @harrynutzach307

I think you would lose your money on #4. I don't get it. Michael Oher supporters think he's telling the truth and see the Tuohys as evil. Tuohy supporters believe they are telling the truth and this is a money grab. But out of that latter group, I've seen SO MANY who believe someone in Michael's inner-circle is "in his ear" and is putting him up to this. Why is it that so many people let him off the hook? It's like either the Tuohys were manipulating him... or his wife / lawyers / friends are. *Someone* is always manipulating "poor Michael" the victim.
So far, the Tuohys have provided the court with the *evidence* to back up everything their lawyers said in their August press conference:
      - that they made less than 1 million from the film
      - that Oher was paid his equal share and was sent 10 payment checks
      - that when he refused to cash them the money went into an account for his son
      - that he tried years ago to shake them down for $15 million
The other thing they said that day? That Oher has tried this money grab several times before.... hiring different law firms each time. You know the Tuohys' lawyers would never *volunteer* that information if they didn't have the paper trail to back it up. Face it.... he's not the loving, "gentle giant" the movie portrayed. This is ALL HIM.

@@jasonnutz6149 It's in BOTH the Blind Side book and Michael Oher's own 2011 book. Michael Oher writes about arriving and getting used to Briarcrest as a sophomore.... and discovering that he didn't get free lunch anymore.
_"One of the biggest differences between Briarcrest and all the other schools I’d attended was that lunch wasn’t free. In my public schools I always made sure I was in school at lunchtime even if we didn’t go to any classes during the day-at least I was guaranteed one meal a day. But at Briarcrest, everyone had to pay or pack. Free lunch wasn’t an option; my scholarship just covered tuition. So suddenly I found out that the one meal a day I always knew I could count on was gone. Again, it was a situation where if I had told anyone, I know they would have immediately helped me out. But I didn’t, and I guess it just didn’t occur to anyone that two or three dollars a day for lunch was more than I could afford. It was one thing to bum a bed on the sofa or some food at dinnertime. It was a totally different thing to ask for money for lunch. _ ...
_ But suddenly I discovered that I had a lunch account. I can’t remember who told me, specifically, but I just know that one day I was told that I could just get whatever I needed in the lunch line and it would be covered. The feeling of relief that day was huge. I was starting to see God at work around me; I had a need, it was met. That’s pretty powerful. Later I would find out it was *Sean Tuohy* who was my cafeteria sponsor." _
I know where you got your quote. Michael Oher LIES and says that when he "moved in" with the Tuohys in the summer before his senior year he was already an All-American. His supporters stretch his lie into an even bigger lie and say he was already an All American when he MET THEM. Both books talk about him meeting them as a sophomore... him spending more and more time with them... and him practically living there months before he became an All American

Anyone who follows college football should have known he was lying from day 1. The media were all talking about the section in his lawsuit where he mentions a contract from April 20, 2007... giving his name, image, and likeness rights away to the movie studio for free. He was accusing the Tuohys of forging his signature on it.
And I thought to myself.... "April of 2007? *OF COURSE* his signature is on that contract giving his rights away for free. In 2007 he was still at Ole Miss on an NCAA football scholarship. The NCAA *strictly forbid* student athletes from accepting ANY payment for their name, image and likeness rights back then. The NCAA just lifted that NIL rule a few years ago (2020 / 2021?). If they would have caught him making a dime from that film, his football career would have been over. Michael Oher knows perfectly well why his name is on that contract... they sent a copy of it to the NCAA to fool them into thinking he was waiving payment. Meanwhile they were sliding him money from the 'family check' "

These people have used him for years and now they're accusing HIM of extortion for wanting them to pay him the money they made off of his story. They had a conservatorship without his knowledge and he was never adopted. These people are despicable.

Oher knew about the conservatorship since we wrote about it in his book from 2011. Oher is lying here.

The family provided receipts PROVING Oher was paid his equal share of the film profits, and he KNEW about the conservatorship.
That family was already extremely well off before they even met Oher.....and he has admitted in the past how important they were in helping him get into college, which led to the NFL.
Do you actually believe they only took him in with the hopes of cashing in on a friggin movie?! Yeah.......real good odds there.
Learn some facts about the situation before accusing people of being despicable. People like you are the despicable ones.

If you think you are getting $15 million for a book written about and the movie rights, you are clueless.

Survivors usually remain self centered and wil step right over non family that gives heart, soul , blood and money, you have to help w no expectation of reward and be prepared to be spit in face as you are seen as a mere asset for as long as you give to them, Most are deeply damaged so give w unselfish love but beware.

The meathead would be in prison if it weren't for this gracious couple. He continues the stereotypes of these peoples. This beautiful couple should countersue for the millions they helped him obtain in the NFL.
