Nice reaction. D'ANGELO is the king of Neo Soul. This back catalogue is amazing too. Definitely worth checking out. One of my all-time favourite artists.
I genuinely think you’d like Musiq Soulchild.. his songs “Just Friends” & “Halfcrazy” are some of the best tunes I’ve ever heard. Mariah’s wanted to collaborate with him for years
8:28 "Okay, umm...he's making you wet, he's in between your thighs, he's coming inside you I think. So yeah, it's going one way, but that's great". You reading through these lyrics in a Northern accent is like something out of a Jam sketch 😂.
D’angelo is one of the most talented ( writing his songs off course, he plays the almost every instruments) singer song writer and god gave him the look too. I’m glad U chose my fave artist!! I appreciate u and D’Angelo!! Pure talent! Very sexy song indeed!!!!❤❤❤❤
Johnny...why on Earth you didn't do the video for this one???! The video is what made this song. Everybody was talking about this experience for Months!!! Please play the video.😳😆
love the reaction! Please check out "Found my smile again". D'angelo is my favorite artist and doesn't really have too much music. You wont regret diving into his Voodoo album. and hopefully that brings your curiosity to the neosoul genre -new subscriber
Great reaction as always! I think you would really like You Will Know which was a collaboration/benefit anthem track that was originally written and produced by D'angelo when he was 16, but I think he was about 20 when it was released. The song features about 40(only 10-15 of them get a part as featured soloists) of the top male R&B artists of the time. It would be a great opportunity to get a crash course introduction to some of the great male R&b artists of the 80s & 90s. They called themselves Black Men United. It would be great if you reacted to the video and also to their only live performance at an awards show which added, then 14-year old, Usher to the lineup of soloists😊.
Welcome to the sounds of Richmond Virginia the home of D'Angelo. Prince didn't write this or have anything to do with it. I love Prince but this was 100% D'Angelo.
I love D'Angelo. FYI, the music video for this song is incredible! For those of you that know what I'm talking, you get what I'm saying. 🔥😍

Oooooooooooooh
D’angelo … that album, production, song, performance and the video … 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿💜💜💜
He sings just like Prince. You can hear the influence all over him.
Questlove's drumming is just brilliant. That "drag" really makes the song. A masterpiece.
The video gives the full effect 😂
lmao
😂
He and Lauryn Hill have a nice duet on Miseducation. Vocally, he reminds me of Prince at times.
Yes so smooth 👍🤓😁🎵👏
Nice reaction. D'ANGELO is the king of Neo Soul. This back catalogue is amazing too. Definitely worth checking out. One of my all-time favourite artists.
D’Angelo's first 2 albums Brown Sugar and Voodoo are front to back classics. There’s it a single throw away track
Great Seeing You react to D'Angelo; He and Lauryn Hill have a Nice song "Nothing Even Matters " that I'm sure You would like.🔥🔥🔥
I genuinely think you’d like Musiq Soulchild.. his songs “Just Friends” & “Halfcrazy” are some of the best tunes I’ve ever heard. Mariah’s wanted to collaborate with him for years
You will be amazed at the video..
My God I love D'Angelo. Saw him in Montreux in 2016. It was the best gig I've ever been to. Spot on with the Sly & The F Stone.
I saw him live in 2000 when he was promoting this album. He is a great live performer

Some other great songs by him is "Brown Sugar" and "Lady"
And his cover of Cruisin'

Voodoo is one of my all time fave albums a masterpiece
This song is also co-written by Raphael Saddiq and also think he played bass on this particular song as well .
You have to listen to all of Voodoo. Whether it’s for the channel or not. It’s one of the best albums of all time (easily top 5 for me).

This whole album Brown Sugar is a classic of neosoul and influenced much of the sound of soul, rap & rnb for the coming decades and still this day.
I thought this song was from the Voodoo album.

D'Angelo is one of my favorite artists ever. Probably top 3. Highly recommend you react to The Root and Spanish Joint from the same album
Another song in my all-time top 100 songs. Also, the video is epic and a game-changer. Send It On from that same Voodoo album is also amazing.
Send it on is definitely amazing
Johnny...why on Earth you didn't do the video for this one???! The video is what made this song. Everybody was talking about this experience for Months!!! Please play the video.😳😆

Check out his ex-girlfriend Angie Stone.
