@@TheCharlieSmithChannel ...ok ....here we go....he...and MAXWELL....were the two main male representatives of the new music genre....NEO SOUL....and they were PERFECTION on just about every level....D'ANGELO...however was the DARKER...more...FUGITIVE aspect of it...and with this VIDEO....he shook up the PLANET....he was a more masculine version of PRINCE...and a more forthright version of MARVIN GAYE....both VISUALLY and VOCALLY...D'ANGELO and PRINCE....had the same MANAGER....and he said that PRINCE..was actually a bit....flustered by D...and it really disturbed D....because he IDOLIZED PRINCE...the EFFECT this song and video had was STAGGERING...he was so ....NAKED on every level and OVERNIGHT he had become a HUGE SEX SYMBOL....and he had actually had always been a rather chunky....shy kid...at here he was...barely 21...and women were in MAD LUST WITH HIM...my fave story about him is when GIORGIO ARMANI...opened his new line of clothing...ARMANI EXCHANGE...with it's flagship store in NYC....he requested the FUGEES to perform....and D'ANGELO....when D..performed....GIORGIO'S SISTER...said that she had NEVER seen her brother smile so brightly...shaking his head and sighing....BELLISIMO....unfortunately D..could not stand the pressures of fame....so he did succumb to drink and drugs....and he did lose the rigor and discipline of his workouts and he became once again...very shy and reclusive....he still tours and drives women crazy....men too...but he is a story of sublime talent....whose wings became singed a bit...

HIM......GRAMMIES the whole BIT.......he was at the time dating the NEO SOUL GODDESS....ANGIE STONE....however as much as they were a POWER COUPLE.....she was a CHUNKY SOUL MAMA....and the PR people did not see the two of them as a fit VISUALLY.....it was the 90s....the SUPERMODEL ERA.....and everyone was on her ASS about her weight.....women were LITERALLY throwing their panties at him while he would perform onstage ...and they could NOT understand why HE....was with HER....VIBE MAGAZINE...the RAP...and HIP HOP BIBLE interviewed her and the female interviewer threw it in her FACE....that SHE HAD D TOO....VLAD TV has an EXCELLENT INTERVIEW of her.....you MUST see it.....they did have a SON together....he is a rapper...however ANGIE....still complains bitterly about D....however she should have known BETTER....she is 12 YEARS OLDER THAN D....he was barely 19 when they got together...D....rarely does interviews because they all bring up his failure to sustain as an artist....and they want of course to talk about HIM...and ANGIE....he RARELY gives interviews...and when he does they are TIGHTLY CONTROLLED....and he NEVER....EVER....mentions ANGIE...
