Hey guys that was bloody impressive and right on the nail what I wanted to know. Relative to that are some interesting replies as to how the mods benefit the real world. I have a 2022 rally with the full uni filter set up. I'll definitely be locating the filter sox's outside after watching your vid. Couple of questions if I may please/ What is the diameter diff between the cb and crf intake venturi's? What year are your bikes. Reason I ask is I'm interested dumping all the emission stuff. I watched Jake the Garden Snake remove all his then went to do mine and all the area behind the cylinder is all free space and completely different to his bike. Cheers from NZ
For anyone on the fence about the velocity stack I did this and didn't use any epoxy or make it look like a hack job. Just take your time with a Dremel and keep testing to see if it fits. I ground down the area where there is a plastic seam in a semi-circle and it sat totally flush. There was no need for all the goop. I just sealed the lip with RTV, wiped away the excess, and let it sit overnight. Tested with pressurized water and had no leaks. All that being said it was 100% worth it and made a notable difference paired with the cams and tune.
Thanks for the great video! Any idea how effective the inverted pre-filter is at filtering? To me it makes sense that for filtering you want a funnel going into the snorkel, rather than a wide open cone on top of the snorkel, but it also makes sense that this greatly reduces the volume of air going in. Have you guys found that the inverted pre-filter still does its job?
Hi Pompey Biker, wondering if you could help. I’ve got a 300Rally on order but it’s been delayed again until April next year. So I’m thinking of picking up a WR250R with sorted suspension, long range tank and low km’s. Seeing as you own both, do you think I should hold out for the 300 Rally, or pickup the WR250R? Is the crf300 engine better in your experience. Thanks
it's very interesting. are you using inverted unifilter socks on your intake tubes or have left those out? just one main filter in the airbox? I've ordered twon air box filters come with covers to use in water crossing.
Thanks for the interesting comparison. I must run a pre-filter because of where I live. I haven't done any additional upgrades. Would it help to add a second snorkel with pre-filter to the airbox even though I haven't changed to the CB300 throttle body intake?
What do these numbers translate to practically though? I've installed a uni filter pre filter as recommended (stuffed into the pipe) but to be honest have not really noticed any performance change. Although I have noticed significantly less dust

I was just thinking Lucky Luke would like to watch this and lo and behold 😅🤔😅🤪🙏 it's you bloody brilliant mate love the manometer 👌
Good work boys!
Hello, thanks a lot, (y) It was very helpful for my setup air filter and prefilter. I had a terrible combination :)
Wish they made an air box with a foam filter and high flow intake.
WOOHOO, what a fantastic video 🇺🇸🍾🎉🇺🇸
Excellent
Super useful info. Thank-you.
I don't think you can trust the epoxy to bond to plastic well. Never seems to stick in my experience.

Would be keen how the unifilter foam filter performs compared to the DNA filter. Anyone have any idea? Don't know which one to buy

I've been waiting for someone to do dyno runs on the 300 with stock trim and all the mods people are throwing on, as talk is cheap frankly..
