Sir You are doing amazing job , Clear my concepts and May GOD BLESS YOU , I also recommend my friends , I learn C4d but didn't have practice materials , Now I have practiced a lot through your channel , I am really thankful to you and Your channel

@@polygonpen I guess that. Just like you don't use custom UI.... C4D have best customizaton capability. Maybe you can make one video about this, custozization speed my workflow drastically. PS. Thank you for all the effort you put into creating the best guides for the community. Everything is clearly explained, and you also post reference images when needed. You have my deepest respect for what you do.
Older versions of C4D don't have automatic optimised cylinders, that is probably why, you can select all your potins ( Ctrl + A ) then right click, select optimise, you need to do this manually.
What a fantastic series, I love it! And the effect with the SUBSCRIBE button, awesome 😍 Your way of teaching is so clear, I apreciate your effort! Thank You ❤
Nice Tutorial. I think you forgot to tell us to optimize our Points because of the Cylinders. I was wandering why my edges where so sharp, than i realize that the Points were not connected. Maybe you told us and i dint not hear it, i am not sure :) Thank you for the Tutorial! 🙂
To solve this: Go in Polygone Mode, go on (Top menue) "Select" -> "Select All" -> Rigtclick on Cylynder -> "Optimize..." (looks like recycle-symbol) - Then you have it connected :)
Please keep doing this series, you explain the steps in more detail, and it helps a lot when following the tutorial and internalizing the modelling process.
Thank you for your tutorials, im using R20, and when I put the cylinder (volume control) inside the SDS, the extruded one is curved, but not the entire cylinder. the edges are sharp. but yours, it turns into a ball shaped.. why is that?
You need to optimize ( merge ) points, select all the points of the object ( CTRL A) right click and select optimize, I believe after R21 this automaticaly happens when you make an object editable, this is why mine looked different.
Maybe a small optimisation hint: instead of using support edges you could simply use a bevel deformer in combination with the subd. surface. fast and ez. the case - for example - for me an offset of 1,5cm and 2 sub. works great (0° angle treshold)
I enjoyed watching your tutorial. Please complete this series and if possible make a tutorial on Broadcast Media (TV Channel) graphics and animation. Thanks. ❤
good
complete
i luv the style of your explaining. great work sir.
Thank you!

Hello, thank you so much for this tutorial. Love following along to this, however I couldn't unwrap my UV. I use R21, how can I do that? Thank you!
Thank you, check out my UV playlist on the channel!
Thank you mate! I am learning C4d from you! :)
Awesome!!
Thank you
Thank you so much! Your tutorials are great :)

Great tutorial. Thank you.
great tutorial. Nice to see modeling of everyday objects. Very well presented.
Thanks you very much!

great thank you very much, glad to be member of your Patreon
Thank you!
I have zero knowledge in c4d, thanks for the tutorial.
Your welcome!
c4d tuts are pretty scarce compared to other 3d softwares, but this channel has a ton
Yeah, indeed!
the programs so streamlined though it doesnt take much to learn it thankfully.
I'm in R19 and that whole UV edit mode looks quite different - is UV Mapping - Projection the nearest equivalent to the unwrap?
Yeah, kind of.
Yeaaaaaaaah finnallly you made it ,its veryyy helpful bro .

I hate c4d for modeling ,that's before your tutorials, now i love it ♥
Wow thank you so much, I started C4D again cuz of you,
Awesome :)
Frankly thank you for the tutorial, even if it's in English, I'm a beginner and thanks to you I'm happy to learn Cinema 4D

Nice Bro
I followed this using Maya lol
Yeah, very similar.
OMG another one in the same week

great Tutorials dude .
are u gonna upload more car modeling Tutorial ?
I will contiune to model the car in livestreams, I will make an announcement soon
thank you for tutorials ^_^
I follow your tutorial and practice everyday,Thanks!
Awesome, keep going.
One of best thing are that you use vanilla C4D, without any plugins / scripts. btw. many old and free plugin, scripts are broken in R2xxxx :(
Thanks, I try not to use any plugin so everyone from every version can watch.

i didn't think that was a radio i thought it was a locker lol , great tutorial man .
Haha, yeah, it resembles.

Sağolasın, türkçe yapıcaktım ama kitle çok az yani ama ilerde olabilir tabi.
Does the Volumes hidden inside the main body of the radio will be of any trouble while rendering or animating
No, it is not gonna be a problem, maybe if you use dynamics but this is just for beginners, in the next episodes I will show cleaner ways.

why my cylinder edges are not connected? when i scale them as u did in 10:56, they get disconnected from the cylinder and become like a disc

just wow, thank you!
hey, my c4d version is too old and i dont have loop cuts. Is there an alternative option?
There is loop cut tool in like 10/15 years ago's Cinema 4D, which version you have?
@@polygonpen it says version R17.016 its 2015 i think but i dont have loop cut when i right click
@@justinschulte2338 Then there is no way you don't have that tool, you need to be in polygon or edge mode.
amazing work keep it coming

There is no referance image in this tutorial.
Can the mechanisms for modelling in c4d be transferred over to 3ds max?
The principals of 3D modeling are interchangeable between all poly modeling 3D apps.
@@anthonypalermo Thanks
sure, im following his techniques in blender
principle of modeling is similar in all software
Yeah, exactly, Subdivision modeling is universal, it is the same in every 3D program.
@@polygonpen thanks

In newer versions of C4D, cylinders are automatically optimized, this may be the reason.
@@polygonpen Oh okay, that makes sense. Thank you.

Yeah, sometimes it is faster but for more complex meshes, I don't use it, especially when you need to export the mesh.

😂

You're a great teacher, excellent lessons ... but I prefer to do these industrial designs on Solidworks and then import them into C4D.
thank you, my lessons are mainly for Subdivision modeling, Cinema 4d, Maya, Blender etc. but in the future I may make CAD tutorials.
My C4d is giving me a "relax uv error" when I try to UV unwrap
Might have duplicate polygons
