What a week!! Thanks to all of our friends and followers for the hospitality up here in the Valley! Our clients were a dream and our Airbnb was a hoot!
I love how those came out! Terry is literally such a great artist. The home owners should add a bench in the grass area. It would be so beautiful and well used I’m sure .😊
Beautiful installation, Laura! what a standout property the homeowners have now! I bet they're just bursting with pride at how amazing you have made their yard look! And I am not even a little surprised that you have more requests for consultations up that way--I think the more magic you work up in the Valley, the more requests you will get. And well-deserved!
(Annie) Wow, choice of using the Mohave (?) coverage was perfect, it really sets everything off so nice. Have to say again, having Terry in to the team is a huge blessing, she just has the eye for this stuff..wantta clone her to come help us lol. Welcome Haley to the team ! As again, all of your team, schelpping all that soil and rock Aint Easy so kuddos to them all. As as usual, Greg doing his magic :). Laura, I think you said it best in that this is a great example of a simple design with the plants and rocks etc that sets the level of having a gorgeous garden, while being water-wise and responsible. I hope the neighbors were all inspired to think about following suit. Knowing the youngins are really going to enjoy the play in this garden is super bonus. Again, just a perfect example of using soil for mounding. I could see is someone can't afford so much rock, that driftwood would be great alternative ?!
Amazing reveal. I hope they let you remove the grass or turf some time....to complete the picture. I spoketh too soon. The kids and dog need some grassy area.
I love the combination of the beige rubble with the green lawn and with the textures of the bricks. It's marvelous. Laura, you are an artist. Congratulations to you all.
Wow! Another absolute gorgeous masterpiece! Love that black on just a couple areas, everything is so professional looking as always. I hope you get many more clients after they walk and drive by to admire this front yard.
Welcome Haley to Team DFS!! 🙌🏻👏🏻🙌🏻👏🏻 Fantastic install - what a transformation 🤩 Still shocked at the change in Chatsworth from when I was growing up in that area - if the temp got to 100 that was considered really hot 🥵. Great job team, especially under such challenging 🌧️ circumstances!!
You've given them a beautiful view out of that great front window. I think you're showing the hot neighborhood the 21st century drought tolerant way to be.
Beautiful install Laura + team! I’m wondering, if it gets really hot there in summer, how do you keep your cacti from burning? My baby barrel cactus has sunburn and I have no idea why! I’m really sad, as my MIL toted it back from western QLD as a birthday present for me. I ❤ that little square next to the driveway with the burgundy top dressing - oh wow! The succulents just sparkle!
Love your design and work Just want to inform you I referred you to Mike Murphy and his wife. I'm a fan of yours for 3 years, and tell everyone about your Design for Serenity.
Question. Why did you go with black lava vs red? I would have picked red, but the black you choose looks great. I was wondering the thought process so I could learn.
an optometry office in my town was watering their lawn in the pouring rain making the street flooding even worse, at least you did something productive using water to power wash away the mud lol
Great install, Team DFS! I have a question though. It looks like (at 0:15) you have applied a row of rubble to sparate clients’ property from neighbors’ grass on the parking strip. Will this be enough to keep their grass from encroaching onto the rocks? In my yard, I was constantly fighting their grass from growing on my property, not helped by their daily sprinkler water keeping everything moist. I finally had to buy a heavy metal strip and bury it in the ground along the property line, to keep their grass at bay. It also made it easier for their gardener to keep the grass trim there. I would be interested to know how your rubble works out.

Love the yard. What a smart decision to reduce water with such gorgeous style! 💚
It’s boulderific!! ❤
Excellent, another grand slam out of the park!!
BEAUTIFUL. Concerned about people walking their dogs along the parkway.
Happy St. Patty’s Day! Chatsworth garden is absolutely marvelous 🎉🎉🎉

I love it all but I really loved the parking strip and how high the mounding is. And the black lava areas warm the cockles of MY heart😂
Wow. Beautiful!

The top dressing rock just pulled this installation together. The ferox though... It just has my heart right now.
Sooooooo beautiful, what a huge difference. I’m inspired and tomorrow I’m reworking some pots, for sure!
I'd love to see more of the black rock ribbon thru more connecting point to point like u always said. That being said...it's beautiful anyway.
Your Masterpiece inspires me to one day have a house and have you and the Dream Team design my yard...🌵...
Is that lawn real grass? It looks so perfect. I keep thinking it must be fake grass. The rocks and planting is all perfect too. Looks devine.
Welcome Haley! Stunning work as always from the team. 😉
Amazing of course. You just keep raising the bar. How will you top this one? Wish I was with you all. But I will be back soon! Gordon
Missed you, Gordon!!!
So stunning. I like the rock and gravel together a lot
Welcome Haley 🎉
Another beautiful installation. Good luck with the creeping wall lol
You make magic, this is pure art👏👏👏
The lavaless bed is more relaxing to behold.
They will forever be sweeping gravel off of the pathways and sidewalk. What a constant chore. Honestly.
Once again absolutely beautiful and perfect 😊😊😊

😍 Beautiful ❤🌵

Just gorgeous❣️ Great job team DFS 💚💚💚

Laura “I’m trying to practice restraint”. Said in a tone line it’s the worst thing ever! 😂😂
Beautiful Love the black rock

Love the rock you chose!
Very pretty

Black stands out more?
The red has a lot of purple in it (burgundy lava) and it would have clashed with the brick😊
Love everything that you do.
Beautiful I think it looks so great 🎉
Well done team ❤

Suggestions for the “high end solar lights”???

Beautiful! Is that a aloe goliath by the front door?
Yes, it is!
Mojave gold is expensive.
Does Terry have a social media platform?
Is there a chance that someone steals or damages that beauty?
The exposed sprinkler valves, what are options to hide?
Are you mistaking the low voltage light fixtures for sprinkler heads?
@@Joyce-pc7co I think Tina is talking about the *valves* near the hose bibb, next to the front of the house, by the flagstone path.
@@Joyce-pc7co no, the valves are in front of the window at the house.
