Hi Hannah, your garden is looking absolutely gorgeous and I really love seeing all of your beautiful plants and how they are growing. It is my dream to have a tiki bar somewhat like yours, since I am an artist I will love painting and designing some things for it. Glad you had a great trip to Mexico, that was probably a lot of fun for you. I really love the vibes your garden gives off, you are so lucky that you don't have to mow your lawn anymore, that must be so awesome because it sure looks amazing. I would love to be able to hang around outside in that area. I hope that you have a great week coming up. Sending love and hugs, bye for now. 🤣🤗💜🦩🌴🍍🏝
Wow Hannah Your tropical garden looking wonderful and your new plants have some really wondeful colouration! I´m happy to see your tropical garden tour and your palms looking amazing! From your dear friend Mikael Have a great week my dear friend!
Incredible, what a beautiful garden! Women have such an eye for decorating and composition. I have a small tropical garden but it looks like someone threw a random bunch of tropical plants out of an airplane.
Try some garlic powder sprinkled around the bottom of your plants for slugs and snails. It also got rid of the Japanese Beetles on my roses. Your garden is Gorgeous!
What else I can say about your entire residence? You have an exquisite taste, Creativity in designing, and maintaining very well manicured your secluded jungle! God bless you!
Beautiful as always. Mexico restaurant is as gorgeous as your backyard! Blessings from PA, USA and hoping you recuperate soon from your hands issues🙏💐🍍🏝
Hi Hannah. The last 6 weeks I've had a landscaper laying grass and putting tree rings around my three 300 yr old oaks. I'm 73 with diabetes and severe arthritis in my right knee. My yard over last 2 yrs had gotten really bad with weeds and dirt. My son and daughter in law insisted I bring my yard back to life the way it was when my parents were alive. It took 5000 sq ft to cover my front yard up to my patio. My favorite thing was my own tropical island in the middle of the grass. You have made me so happy showing yours I had to have one. Landscaper had never done one but I bossed him good, made circle with paint, had water system set underneath the mulch and used my walker to carry plants to it and set each one where I wanted. We added electricity so I could put in a bubbling rock for the birds. I live in zone 9 in southwest Texas but we get way less rain than you. I've had to make adjustments to plants and keeping them happy. Now everyone in my small town has heard about my island and seen the photo. I do have about 7 different flamingos in my yard which my grandkids love. All my senior lady friends have named my place Grandma's Flamingo Retreat and started making reservations to spend weekends here on my ranch with my pool, deck and now gorgeous yard and island. Thank you so much for your ideas and information I absorb all the time. Our weather on average this summer is 105F so I do spend time talking to my island plants and giving them drinks of water. I ordered a bar from Florida which should be arriving middle of Aug. Then my daughter in law and I will be painting it Key West colors. I can hardly wait to get it set up and decorated. Thanks again fir all your inspiration. 😁🌴🦩🌺🐸💗
Your tropical garden is adorable. I've finally decided to create a dense tropical garden, and yours is so cute that I sent a link to one of your videos to my husband to watch during his lunch break at work! I have 2 acres of land, wooded around the perimeter, so already pretty private. I'll have room to add areas of clumping bamboo and really tall palms. I need to create a lot of shade because the sun is just too brutal here in the summer for some types of tropical plants (maybe because I'm in the center of the state, not near the ocean where it's breezy and cooler).
You do such an amazing job.... I kep trying and also I am growing tomatoes from seed and 🌶 and also bell peppers on my South facing window sills right now 🙏 ☀
What a beautiful tropical paradise. I live in tropical Darwin, I think you have done an exceptional job without the heat and humidity we have in the top end of Australia. Never underestimate what the fertiliser will do. Seaweed solution is more of a tonic for the plants roots, I use this , however will buy 50litre bags of Rooster booster, all my plants love this with thick layer if hay, which if you water first thing in the morning will add more humidity to parts of the garden when the sun rises. Great work.
Holy Cow! I've never heard or seen a tropical garden! That is soooo cool. It must feel like vacationing every time you step into your garden. Absolutely love it! Please keep updating us on it, since I know nothing about some of these plants.
Just seen this channel. Never would have believed there is a tropical looking garden in the UK like yours. You certainly love your tropical plants and birds, and know how to take care of all of them. Great stuff Hannah
Being so hot here, on Florida, I've noticed my Canna lillies need more direct sun, for at least six hours a day. What does well in shady areas is Calla lillies, and they are gorgeous. And since they have kind of a pitcher type of flower, they look exotic.
Your garden is just beautiful and you've captured the look perfectly , I'm on my own Tropical adventure and your garden has just comfirmed some my ideas. Well done! 🏝️👍
Enjoyed seeing new vibrant colors in garden. I had a sago this year that did not flush out any new fronds for 2 years then this spring it put out 3 new sets of fronds all at once. Glad yours finally came through
Your garden is such an inspiration to me! I used to live in Hawaii and now live in the mountains and I'm going to try and create my own tropical paradise! Appreciate your channel
In your other videos, you didn't have the corner platform done yet. It looks outstanding! I'm not surprised, though, since I've witnessed your ability to create a magical place. I can only imagine how much time you devote to this hobby. I'm in 9A as well, but I don't know if that corresponds to your hardiness zone. I'm on the Gulf Coast of Texas, so I'm accustomed to seeing these plants. I will show my ignorance by admitting that I don't think of England as tropical, but I'm glad to be proven wrong. I noticed that you have snow on the ground in a couple of your videos. Is that a yearly occurrence or is it an exception? Our average snowfall is almost zero, and winters tend to be mild. Until February of '21 and December of '22. We got 2 back-to-back hard freezes of the once-in-a-100-year variety. Right after I'd had all new landscaping put in. Timing. 🙄😡 BTW, one of my favorite plants in my yard is Pride of Barbados. I didn't see any in your beautiful oasis and wondered if y'all have those over there. Pretty hardy if they can come back from 2 major freeze events as an immature plant. You'd need a sunny spot for the Pride of Barbados, so maybe it wouldn't work out well for you. Thanks for sharing your space with us. 🌺 🦎 🌴
Lovely garden. I would recommend drenching your tree ferns every day. In the extreme heat we recently had, I would do them twice a day. They need to be constantly moist. Maybe an irrigation system on a timer would help if you are going away for more than a day or so?
I'm in Northern California and I wish my backyard was as beautiful as your's. You have done a fantastic job. I keep thinking I can do that overnight, you've done alot of hard work. Beautiful😍 Congratulations❣🌺🌴🌸🪴🌼🌻🌺
Your garden has such a wonderful balance of colors and leaf contrast and size you really put a lot of time into planning it all out. I’ve been trying to model my tropical garden design after yours
Sago palms are pretty slow growers. We have them all over Florida, but they tend to get a disease here, don't know why. I lost mine to disease like 25 years ago and never replaced it. I may try again now, though. I live in Central Florida.
Another great video, your garden continues to evolve into a fantastic space . The filming, editing , commentary and music are very professional .I think it’s about time you were on gardener’s world
Your garden is absolutely wonderful! Can I ask where you got the fence posts with the rope running through? (Apologies if you've already answered this question). 🌴
We have those sagos every where in Florida. They need lots of heat and humidity, probably why yours finally flushed out new growth. Make sure to use palm fertilizer each year during the summer if you’re not doing so already.
Not sure what would happen in your type of climate if you watered everyday, but here, colocasias and cannas drink a lot off water. Probably like half a bucket everyday. Maybe that's why they're taking long to grow.
Your garden is an inspiration. I'm still at the start of my tropical garden journey. May I ask what the roof of your pergola is made from please? Does it get very hot in the summer beneath? Would you recommend it? Xx
Miss Hannah, your channel is one of the most stunning that I have seen with exotic plants! I live in North Carolina in the United States and to be honest I have never even seen a quick cosmia with variegated leaves and the one that you showed is absolutely stunning! When you possibly know where I could order one?
Hi, I love your garden, watched the previous episodes as well. I've been talking ideas of plants and would like to know what is the name of the ground cover you have there. Thanks
You have managed to fit so many gorgeous plants into your space. I’m thinking of planting a Bottlebrush, Callistemon laevis. I want it to grow tall near a trellis so I’m trying to pick the best variety. Can you tell me the name of yours and how long you’ve had it growing there?
Hi do you separate the pups from your bananas I have a few new ones coming off the mother but I dare not touch them incase I harm the main plant ? By the way your garden is absolutely beautiful 😍
Thanks! I wait until they are at least a few feet high then use a small saw to separate from main plant, as long as they have at least a couple of roots they will be fine although can take a while to get going and may look floppy for a while 🌴
Magnificent, everything is so beautiful.
The perfect oasis. ❤️👌
🐞🌺🌺So nice to watch your videos, your garden is amazing!!! 🌺🌺🐞
Absolutely loved watching your plants. I have never seen such a beautifully done garden before. Hats off to you 👏
Thanks so much 🙃🌺🌿

tropical gardens are great and I love your garden, unfortunately many plants will not survive a harsh winter.
Beautiful tropical garden

Welcome home Hannah your garden is just beautiful, thanks for such inspiration! ... going off to watch your Mexico video now! 😍

Super💖👏👏👏👏👏
Hi! I absolutely love you garden! How in the world do you keep your plants alive during the winter.
Thank you 🌺 Take a look in my tropical garden playlist for my overwintering videos 🌴🌺☀️🌿

Thank you! It’s 16mm Opal polycarbonate, it lets light in but not sun rays, it’s just what I wanted as the patio was too sunny to sit out before ☀️🌺🌴
@@TropicalPlantAddict Thank you soo much for your swift reply x

I love the new plants do you find that the crocosmia spreads I want to get some but worried about it spreading too much. ❤
Yes it spreads but I love it! You can always dig some up to sell/move to pots or other parts of the garden 💚

@@TropicalPlantAddict thank you so very much for answering my question Ms Hannah! Your plants are absolutely magnificent!

I wrap it in horticultural fleece. You can see my overwintering videos in my tropical garden playlist 🌺🌴

How do your plants survive winter?
If you take a look in my tropical garden playlist I show how I over winter them 🌴🌺
