I've had this drone for a couple months; though I've been busy moving, I've also been somewhat intimidated to try it as it's my first drone. I found a couple UA-cam videos and written reviews, but man I have to say, your written article and review are WHAT I'VE NEEDED. A well written article and video review which follows, without unnecessary comment, jokes, and other distractions. I have both article and video as reference, and the review is appreciably more of a step by step from power on to advanced options. Excellent video, glad I found your article and video.

Do you mean point of interest mode? From video: "hover the drone directly above the object you’re interested in. Then press both the photo and video buttons together to set this position. Use the right direction joystick to set the radius of your circle up to 100m away and press the two buttons together again to start the drone’s flight."
hello. i like your video watch it complete . any idea why my drone always says weak gps signal. i have a jspark and never have any problem with gps. connecting
Thanks I'm glad you liked the video! I'm not sure about the GPS reception - have you tried it in a wide open space. It take a little while for a strong lock. Otherwise I'd contact Ruko support - I hope you get it sorted.
Question Technology Man route rule have to be set before take off or can it be done while the drone is hovering at 20ft or more, trying to figure out the method of doing this correctly
@@TheTechnologyMan Thank you for visiting Indonesia and liking tourism in Indonesia. Many tours in Indonesia, such as Papua, Raja Ampat, is famous for its marine tourism. 👍
I just got the drone and its great, but how are you recording video while showing all the stats? The altitude, distance, heads up display. etc.. Mine only records without all that?
Thanks. I've not tested the SJRC but from what I understand they're made in the same factory. You seem to be paying a little extra for better support and far quicker delivery.
Does anyone have any good suggestions on optimal landing method for this drone? I'm new to flying. My landings have been awful. It does not want to touch the ground even with left joystick down. It hovers a few inches above. When I cut the power in invariably flips as I guess prop speed is not perfectly uniform when shutting down. Any and all advice appreciated. Thanks!
@@TheTechnologyMan Can Hold the drone at chest height, grab it from under, CUT the motors... I do this alot with 3 various drones... saves bending over to grab it or muddy feet.
Two quick questions? It's made in China of course( alas) But is it from a Chinese Company, or Japanese/ Taiwanese? Also, would you recommend this as a worthy, first drone for a novice enthusiast? Thank you
It's made in China. It's ok - its main selling point is it's available off Amazon so you'll get some purchase protection. It's good fun and a decent price for a drone of this size. But would have concerns on getting support after your first year is up.
Sir, you are an excellent speaker and the delivery of the information in your video is top notch! Kudos.
Wow thank you so much!

No problem glad you liked it!
I have a Ruko F11GIM2. I cannot enable the Orbital mode. I have tried the Photo/Video buttons method.

can you please do a step by step of the wave piont for this drone please i have a F11GIM2 drone and i have yet to successfully use this feature.
If I do a follow up video I'll try and include your suggestion thanks.

I'll have to double check when I'm next flying the drone.
i am from Indonesian and very good 👍🙏🙏
That's great I'm glad you liked it! Travelled around Indonesia (Sumatra) a long time ago lovely country!

The~yeah- you did nice, farewell. 🤝
Sorry not sure what you mean?
I just got the drone and its great, but how are you recording video while showing all the stats? The altitude, distance, heads up display. etc.. Mine only records without all that?
That was just screen captures IIRC.
Can you pause the flight in waypoint mode to capture video at one location for 15 mins?
You'd have to cancel the flight IIRC.
hai,what diffrence Ruko F11 GIM2 4K and sjrc f11 4k pro?..good video btw..

Just purchased. First real drone. 😂

That doesn't sound right - have you contacted Roku? Mine will land without any issues with the auto land functon or jst pulling the stick down.

My first drone where do I need to register it to thanks in advance
Check this site: register-drones.caa.co.uk/
i have this exact same drone but the app limits me to 1500M range. any idea how to fix this?
It may depend on region - have you checked with Ruko support?
