@@nehilshrivastava8114that’s why I think they deleted it. It just doesn’t fit the episode because Michael was the bad guy here hahaha. But it would’ve been really cool to see a scene like this maybe when Charles Miner comes into the show when he’s deciding to quit.
The way Michael shuts Jim up after workplace relationships was brilliant. A lot of bosses wouldn’t stand for that and this also shows to Jim how really in most offices he would have either been transferred or fired long ago.
He was not horrible as manager tho. A weird person often crossing lines, sure. But remember his management style actually meant good numbers and good performance from everyone!
@@carlofarina was he the cause of the good numbers though? If he replaced Ryan and Andy for decent sales people he'd have better numbers, if he got rid of Kevin and stopped bothering the warehouse he'd have lower operation costs. I think he's just lucky to have a good market around, I don't think any of the good performance of the branch is his doing
It is pure gold, but maybe it adds a very serious dramatic touch as most of the moments even the saddest ones have a little funny comedy touch, this one does not and it made me even feel for Michael Scarn and kinda make the employees look bad
it probably was a good move, in storytelling there is a rule of thumb called "don't tell, show", this scenes just tells the audience how good michael is, but a better way would be to show them the difference by switching michael with a boss who represents more of a real life boss, which is what they did when michael quit and idris elba joined as manager.
@dannydev9829 idk, this scene reminds me of another scene i love, when Michael goes to Pam's art show. Neither are funny, apart from a fairly lame joke at the end (poop joke here, chunkee in the pocket joke there). But great scenes, i watch them over and over
Goddddd out of any scenes in any episodes they’ve ever left in the cutting room floor, this one sucks the most, Michael really comes off as an unlikeable asshole in this episode without this deleted scene

Cool speech, counter point: The people in the office literally have to forge his signature to get even the bare minimum work done. Even if the work failing to be completed would have gotten them fired. You can talk about much of a nice understanding guy he is, but if his employees have to FORGE HIS SIGNATURE just to get documents signed because he's too lazy to do it, then that's a shitty manager.
Its missing the "Or maybe its some guy who doesn't dispense vacation time for 20 day African Safaris, Phyllis." LOL But as moving as this speech is, this is the episode where he's asking Dwight to take the fall for the Golden Ticket idea so he doesn't get fired. Kind of a dick move though. This is after he heard Angela Oscar Meredith and the others talking about a reckoning and telling the truth to Wallace. Most of what he is saying is true though.
Meredith would have been fired for sleeping with clients. Phyllis and Stanley would have been severely reprimanded or fired for showing up drunk to work. Dwight's gone so fast. Jim and Pam/Ryan and Kelly/Dwight and Angela would have been transferred or fired for an office relationship. One of the accounts is let go. Literally the only ones left in the office would have been Toby and Oscar.
This scene really should have been in the episode. It's shows what great of a boss Michael is and how much he cares for them.
Especially with how much of an annoying and childish asshole he seems like in this episode without the deleted scenes
And yet asks his trusted comrade to take fall for HIS idea which he was eager to grab again after Wallace calling it a superhit, haha, I am unmoved.
Yeah I absolutely agree with that

Considering Jim's sales record most companies would rather fire Pam.
That '3 accountants' is so on point..
Michael hit Jim harder than Michael hit Meredith with his car..
That was a good speech. He has a point, despite being a horrible manager he's a great boss

Wish they hadn't cut this scene, it's great to see Michael put a few people in their place and show how much he does actually care
As we comment under every deleted Office scene, "Why? Why did they remove this scene! This is gold."
This is actually wholesome, I never realized this
god i've been looking for this scene for years now, so glad i finally found it. It's pure gold

This is a deleted scene from the golden ticket episode, right before charles minor come in
that's really a good point Michael has made
That ending line 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👏👏👏👏
I literally can’t comprehend why the scene was deleted
0:39 Jim says that but was treated like crap by Charles Miner in Season 5? Do you still like that kind of boss
Nope it still didn't convince me from the fact that he persuaded Dwight to take the fall.

Which episode is this?
The Golden ticket
Why did Oscar just scoff at the minority comment? Like america doesn’t have any racist and/or homophobic people.
I actually thought that Oscar was affected (in a good way) Michael identified his minority group as Hispanic instead of homosexual. Just my take on it
Why is this stupid show still popular.
