The moment where Dwight had begun to turn on Michael and it was justified.
This was one of the sadder moments for me when this had happened because Dwight was such a loyal and reliable confidant to Michael and he took him for granted. After Dwight snapped at Michael for trying to defend him, he lost all respect for his manager and pretty much acted cold and petty towards him. I'm glad they made up near the end, but for an entire season or so it was very unsettling to see them interacting with each other with Dwight giving negative quips to Michael.

That's actually why this is one of my least favorite episodes. The plot is so messy and inconsistent. Like the beginning of the episode focuses on Dwight and how his fire drill stunt caused the office to go through safety training again. But then, out of nowhere, the episode suddenly starts focusing on Michael and everyone doing this roasting session talking about how much they despise him. Dwight's storyline is then completely forgotten about and never mentioned again. What happened? It makes me genuinely sad that Michael wasn't able to take this as an opportunity to later reflect on the way he makes others feel and make some changes for the better. Yes, it's extremely uncomfortable and difficult to look at the areas in our lives that are emotional blind spots but given that Michael is always saying how they're family...it would've been nice if he could have shown up better for them after hearing their true feelings. Would've been amazing character growth.
