    Proper straight talk. I'm doing my neighbours hallway. Previously white oil based satin. Gonna use this in white water based. 2coats. No need to use an ASP. All surface primer. Cheers bruv 😊

    Great video , straight talking and honest. I have to repaint my black wooden front door and looking to use the water based gloss version of this have you tried it and would it be better to use a roller?

    • @Inexteriors
      @Inexteriors  2 місяці тому

      Thankyou very much. I haven't used the gloss version yet to be honest, let me know what you think of the gloss version when you have used it. Use a 2 fussy blokes mini roller if you can.

    Great paint mate. I used to use it all the time until i tried Bedec MSP and found the Bedec better and its cheaper. Was that door oil based.
    Keep up the good work 👏

      Cheers, i have tried the bedec, it is good stuff. these multi surface paints will only get better and better. yes the door was oil based.

    I’ve used this on bare timber window frames, within a month it was all flaking off. I don’t know whether it’s my error but I have seen other people say the same here on UA-cam. I did water it down slightly for the first of three to four coats so maybe that was my error.

    What undercoat did you use for the Zinsser - I have a reddish painted door on one of those metal fronted UPVC doors.

    • @Inexteriors
      @Inexteriors  4 місяці тому

      Its a multi surface paint, it is self undercoating. but you can use the zinsser bullseye 123 as a first coat.

  • @michaelgregory9929

    Do you have to use Zinnser 123 b.i.n ? Thought thy was the idea of the allcoat.

      @Inexteriors  25 днів тому +1

      spot up anywater stains or coat up any varnished wood as the allcoat wont cover them.

    Hello 👋Could you suggest a Top quality, durable & scrubbable, water-based paint, I can use for my bathroom, which can withstand moisture exposure 💦 ? it's to paint over old yellowed gloss on wood surfaces which I have already sanded ? Thanks 👍

      @@Inexteriors finally after hundreds of read reviews and watched vidoes. The two brands I'm deciding on. Well 3 . My idea is BIN primer shellac over sanded gloss. Dry 24 hours. Then either un coat & top of AG or Everal aqua 40. I can't buy SCUFF-X or Bedec or isomat in my city.

      HI. I have sanded down layers of yellowing ol gloss off 3 windows. I was about to buy Zinsser AllCoat then seen you reply. I had sanded off most of the yellow old paint 98% I can now see the wood grain through a thin layer i left behind . Would I still need to use 123 ? even though I still have a thin layer of paint ?

      @@bsfbestshortfilmsonyoutube it probably would be beter to give it a coat of 123 it can only help, but it can be done without as it is an all in 1 paint.

      @@Inexteriors I used the white satin over an old window which was already white with a bit of filler here and there and it took 3 coats and could’ve done with a 4th. It such a shame as I love the idea of a 1 hour recoat but the time it took with extra coats I might as just well have used oil
