Hope your are doing good/safe and your power is still on. It’s been a crazy one for sure. We lost power all day Monday until it came back on at 8pm. (We are typically last ones to have power restored) Was able to power whole house during that time with my gen. Getting a generator is well worth every dollar spent. Hope you were able to find one. @@JOSHIC yes thankfully lost power for 16 hours but the house temp was 68 internally which was great I’ll be looking at the Honda right after things stabilize a bit along with a soft starter. Did yours hold up alright? I’m in the Heights

No it just has the rubber seal on the cover that goes over the gaps. I haven’t had any problems with water leaking in since I installed it

Negative. It’s been on for almost 2 years and been through countless washes. Still going strong

I read that by disabling, then enabling them in the order you want you can change the order but I don't think you can make Eco the default. I think it's set to always default to normal but as I understand it you could set Eco to only take one push of the drive mode button.

Eco mode just adjusts the throttle response to save fuel.

Thank you! There is a big debate on putting oil in the filter lol. personally, I’ve never done it but this last oil change I did. I believe some model vehicles have the oil filter installed upside down in the engine bay and you can’t pre-fill those! I’d just do what you want to do.

I did it myself. Really easy to do. Would not recommend paying to have this done

glad nothing happened man. I’ve had a lot of close calls myself especially taking the grom into downtown for work. 5:28 happens almost all the time for me. Shit is wild out there!

Yea you’re probably right ford says 10k I think. Lots of mixed reviews lol

10k on a small block turbo engine, no way. Go for it if you want to kill the turbo. That 10k number, as per the manual, is for ideal operating conditions, something few people in real life could pull off.

@@JOSHIC Do not go by what the manufacturer says when they specify 10K oil change intervals. The 10K interval is due to government regulations in some countries (especially in the EU) that mandate longer oil change intervals. I would do changes at about every 5K miles if you are interested in engine longevity. The Mobil 1 Extended Performance motor oil is much better than just regular Mobil 1, even though it only costs a couple dollars more per 5 quart container. Good choice.

@@Mark-rw3kw I plan on using full synthetic oil from this point on and changing after 5k. I just found out that fords synthetic blend oil is their minimal recommendation. Crazy!

@@JOSHIC Just remember to keep using Mobil 1 Extended Protection and not regular Mobil 1. Both are “full synthetic.”

It was pretty cold can’t remember the exact temp but too cold to ride without gloves for sure

The truck has all the modes. Different trims have certain ones unlocked. My fx4 package didn’t come with sport or eco. So I unlocked them.

No I didn’t cover it up. Once the plastidip hardens it peels right off. It’s not spray paint even though it comes out lookin like spray paint.

Nah I don’t think there will be any problem. My truck didn’t have sport mode and I drive in sport mode and have not had any issues.

If your truck has the modes but it was disabled you should be fine. I’m not an expert so if you are worried about anything, I’d consult with an expert. Ford just locked the modes for the different trim levels.

Front ones would work but rear mat won’t.

Thanks man. I honestly have not felt any difference with the steering while sport mode is activated. Throttle difference for sure but not steering and/or weight. Hope this helps!

@@JOSHIC no problem! that kinda sucks i wonder if there's another section in forscan that deals with steering because the sport mode should have adjusted steering to be more athletic.

Truck is doing great. No mechanical problems to date. I drive in traffic 5 days a week so I’m getting crap mileage. I did go on a road trip and I was getting 35-37 on highway. The streets I am getting 25 mpg on a good day. Normal has been around 22-23 with traffic

@@JOSHIC thanks buddy, so the signals light up when you press the brake.. that is interesting, not sure if that is legal where I am from or not

I didn’t install a load equalizer on mine and the lights blink normally. The product listing does state that you might need to purchase one. I did however notice the turn signal light on the speedometer blinks fast.

But the blinker itself blinks fine without it??

I just have the stock bulbs and was worried it would blink fast?

@@dereklewis384 yes I had the stock bulbs on mine and when I installed these, it blinks fine. May or may not be the same for you until you try it. I’d just get the bulbs and see what happens

The “duct tape” is a black American flag patch lol.

Yes I sprayed over it and peeled it off when doing the letters
