I would not call this a beginner bike. Bcuz beginners wouldn’t use it properly. It harkens back to the era of GP3 type bikes of the 90s. Nice work Kawasaki. They didn’t have to build this bike, but they did and I respect that

2024....with end of year $ off, and a $500 military discount, I got mine for a hair over 9K out the door. A zx6 was a solid 2500 more than that. Also, you can't ride a 6 to it's potential on the street...you just cant. The 4RR you can ride to it's full potential, even on the street. As someone who is 54 and ridden everything over my 35 years of riding....this bike is just Fuckin' Fun.

Hello from Clear Lake! Can you tell me - what is the engine RPM at, say, 80 mph in 6th gear? I'm considering buying one to ride on multi-day trips. I current do that on a Ninja 650.

Im thinking of adding one of these but with the flash it makes somewhere around the same power as my flahed and piped new SV650, except the 650 has more torque. The acceleration looks about equivalent give or take.

The fact that it is detuned for NA is it even worth buying? i know if you flash it the warranty is voided so why not buy the 500 or a 650?

I have both the ZX4RR and ZX6R - 2024 models and the 4 is way down on power but is super fun in twisties and has a much more comfortable riding position. The 6 is more than double the power but has terrible ergos for street, a very snatchy throttle and biggest flaw of all quick shift up only witch will get you in trouble when you forget that on downshift while speeding thru canyons. Also the gearing on 4 and 6 are too low and I geared both of them up so I am not reving 8,000 going 75 mph on freeway. Once I get the 4 flashed it will be ridden more than 6 for the fun factor of taking down bigger bikes in the canyons, great little bike!😎

My bike stock was 126 whp and 62-Foot pounds. After injectors, header, de-cat, velocity stacks, M4 Tech 1 carbon, and a Moore Mafia tune. I now make 143-wheel and 78-foot pounds. That is like going from 400hp in a Mustang to 550. It is quite noticeable.

I agree the 300 is a better commuter bike. My son has a 2013 300. That 4RR is meant for hardcore racing. But can be used for the road.

Mind those giant holes. Our super and sport bike wheels are made from old Cheese. I bent the rim on my GSXR going like 20mph. Not enough to stop me from getting home, but it had to be replaced before any 150mph pulls.

Gas is the cost of the hobby. Some folks buy golf clubs, skateboards, knitting kits, and Stamp collections. I buy gallons of gas to burn.

The ninja 400 can 94mph with a half throttle restriction in 4th gear, without the restriction I can imagine it being up the zx4r's ass😃

Thanks heaps bro. I can't wait to start riding mine (Legally 😂) Australia laws are a pain and 3years of A2 class bikes for legal riding (or insurance is a better way to put it, if I crash zx4rr zx6r then bike or whatever you hit comes out of your pocket 🤬)

Hello quick question. What’s the oil temp on yours while riding? My oil temp got up to 215 on a hot Florida day at 100°. This is my first motorcycle, so I’m just wondering if that oil temp is normal.

I have a 100 mile (round trip) commute. I can attest that this bike is an excellent for commuting, it's just thirsty.

Try putting a pop filter over ur mic to see if the crackling is wind noise, it could be a gain issue so if that doesnt work try lowering the volume of the recording and raising it afterwards in post to be loud enough :) good video!

They didn't restrict the motorcycles in North America because of emissions they did it because of noise regulations, in both Canada and the USA.
