    Best Review I've seen yet. I like the Tidewe blind. I just wish it was a little taller. I find that adding sight light I can see my pins better in ground blinds. I do like that you can adjust the top and bottom windows up and down to your perfect liking. The Rhino 180 see through blind, I think you can only slide one side down. Not sure how big of an issue this is, but I like the window configuration on the Tidewe

      Good question! I like to match the back to the spine. The tallest point of the vanes are closer to the back so by aligning the back to the top of the spine, you keep the vanes on the bottom in the right position to not make any contact with the rest or possibly the cables.

      Thanks bud! It's definitely my favorite bow so far. Those are great colors so you definitely can't go wrong with either. The nose button is also great for turkey season, I've found. Also, I do keep looking at the Hoyt Ventum 33 in 80 lbs. I have a Bowtech Solution SD set at 28 inches and it's an absolute tac-driver, but I'd like an 80 lb bow with a longer ATA to shoot heavier arrows with a flatter trajectory. I just shot this release for the first time yesterday and today. I haven't formed a final opinion on it. The one drawback is that it really is a trigger release at its core - if you simply pull the trigger all the way to the rear without back tension, it will go off. I was under the impression that you would pull the trigger fully to disengage the safety, THEN it could only be fired with an adjustable amount of back tension. It was a little frustrating pulling back very hard after the click and having the shot go off after a long time. HOWEVER, after getting familiar with it, my groups are extremely tight. The torque-free design is great and I like the different ways to customize it to your preference.

    • @MasterofNone365
      @MasterofNone365 Місяць тому

      @@bobby4116 it definitely takes time to get use to. I notice the same thing if I slowly squeeze to the click and stop immediately. For me, I would squeeze to the click pretty fast and then take my time pulling through with back tension and it would go off.

    Also your shocks are too short for your amount of increased down travel, you can see your shock at its fully extended length when you unbolted it. Its not a lot of down travel for the added leaf spring travel you added. You will bottom out and deform the top shock mount tab due to the force of the shock bottoming out and the axle pulling down on the top mount when suspension flexes and droops down. You need a limit strap or longer shock, best would be both longer and a limit strap.

  • @laloherrera5173
    @laloherrera5173 2 місяці тому

    Great video, but Toyota service repair manual says to hand tight the frame to leaf, leaf to shackle, shackle to frame, and bottom shock absorber nuts, torque wheel nuts and lower vehicle back to the ground and jounce the suspension several times to let everything settle in, and then torque to the recommend torque specifications. This prevents binding of the leaf bushings. The method you performed here could cause the leaf to frame/shackle to bind, a couple rides it will settle sure but it could prevent unnecessary binding of the bushings.

    Hi, I just found your video of your 3rd Gen Taco with KMC Wheels. I have a question, Did you have the Taco lifted before you install the new wheels and tires? What size is the KMC Wheels and what is the Offset? ALso, What size is the tire? Was there a rubbing issue? I'm working to have my 3rd Gen Taco with the new look and KMC is my pick. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you!

    • @MasterofNone365
      @MasterofNone365 2 місяці тому

      I had it lifted 2" before I upgraded the wheels and tires. I got the 16" wheels, 0 offset. I think it gives my truck a nice stance. Wider than stock but not outside of the fenders. Tires are LT265/75R16. No rubbing at all. They're basically 32" tires. If I went up to 33" I'd have to do a cab mount chop and some modifying of the wheel wells like everyone else does. Thanks for watching!

    How did the helical work out passed 80

    • @MasterofNone365
      @MasterofNone365 2 місяці тому

      They worked great. I didn't really see the crazy parachuting that everyone keeps talking about. If I got any parachuting, it wasn't any different than what I get from my regular helical when I get a little cross wind. It wasn't hard to match up sight tapes with it either. I think it all really depends on your entire arrow build and what poundage and draw length you pull.

    • @justinmahan7860
      @justinmahan7860 2 місяці тому

      Awesome, good to know. I noticed a little drop from 2 to 2.25 with the ez fletch. Jw your experience. But yea ive noticed even if i change arrow set ups, if they're the same weight or with 5 grains or whatever, i don't have to adjust my tape either.

    • @MasterofNone365
      @MasterofNone365 2 місяці тому

      @@justinmahan7860 oh that's interesting but that makes sense. I guess I don't shoot well enough to notice a difference. I have 3 arrows with 2-3 degree helical and 3 with the hard helical and they group together at 80yds. I personally didn't see a difference at all in drop. I'm currently shooting 78# at 29" and my arrows are about 477grains. I just got back from a pig hunt and don't have any hunts planned until mid/late July so I'm going to max out on the limb bolts, build some more arrows and retune. I should be pulling somewhere around 81-82# so I doubt I'd see much of a difference. I'll revisit the comparison again between the 2 and film them in slow motion to see if they fly different. I've been hearing that some people get parachuting at 60yds but I've never seen that even when I was shooting 60#.

    • @justinmahan7860
      @justinmahan7860 2 місяці тому

      @MasterofNone365 i should've specified 2" vanes to 2.25" vanes. Not offset. Sorry. But yea i leave mine on 60lb for comps and i haven't had any parachuting, only a little drag. It'll end up like 6" lower sometimes. But i shoot 368 gr with 100 up front. 28". 289 out of one bow and 272 out of the other. Both on 60lb. I getting ready to fletch 1.7 pro max and 1.75 xvane. I think theyll do great in the mini jig
