  • I've been seeing advertisements for this blind and for the money, this thing is packed with cool features. I couldn't go with just the hunting blind alone so I also ordered their chair. Both seem to be solid in construction so far and I'm excited to see how they perform in the field.

    Excellent video! So often reviews give an opinion as opposed to real time assembly disassembly. I really appreciate your step by step. It really helped me with my purchasing decision. Thank you.

    This is my 1st year of deer hunting. I shot my 1st buck out of my buddies blind. Couldnt see out of the sides, so when i did see them it was from the front. Ive saw the review videos for Tidewe's blind and was impressed. You are the 1st one to actually practice out of it. I lile your style.
    Thank you for your service!

      Congrats on your first buck! This is my first year deer hunting as well. I only spent a little bit of time in the blind and the rest of it was spot and stalk but it was definitely awesome to have that 270 degree view. Thanks for watching and thank you for your service as well!

    good review I think your one of the first people I've seen actually shooting out of this blind. I'm curious as to what your Hight and draw length is? And did you notice if you had any issues with the end of your arrow sticking out of the blind before you drew back?

      I’m 5’8” and my DL is 29” on my Ventum. I’m currently shooting an RX7 with a UV button release and had to shorten it to 28.5”. I was able to keep the tip of the arrow right on the inside of the opening before drawing back but it was a conscious effort. I shoot a pretty short arrow at 26.25” so it’s not as much of an issue. Thanks for watching!

    Did you see any issues with the window not opening far enough on the bottom to get an arrow out of? I normally run Barronett blinds and the window slide down below the horizontal position. Also noticed you twisting your peep. If you have to compensate for peep twist, that can affect you left/right point of impact because your not getting the whole sight picture/ alignment of the peep and sight housing (if that makes sense). Order some GAS bow strings. You will never look back and eliminate peep twist.

      I personally didn’t have any issues with the bottom of the window. For my height and position of the chair, I felt like I needed more space on top. I was getting peep twist but my right impacts only seemed to be an issue inside the blind. When I’m shooting out of it, it was dead on which leads me to believe that it’s a shadow/lighting issue that gave me a different sight picture. I’ve heard a lot of good things about Gas strings. I’ll probably pick up a set for this next season. Thanks for watching!

    Is there any point to trying to hunt deer from the popup blind at dusk of the day you set it up? I've heard that these blinds will spook deer until they've got used to them.

      That's a great question. I'm not a super experienced hunter so I can only tell you what I'd do. From what I can see, I think there are 2 types of hunters. There are some who want to be more efficient with their time so they're only out hunting when there is the most amount of activity and highest chance to shoot. So, they're out there before first light and leave by 10am or so. Then they don't come back till 2-3 hours before last light. Then, there are some who want to stay there all day because even though deer may have a routine, there are times when that can change based on various things from being bumped by other hunters or predators, etc to wanting to find new food/water sources. For hunters like the first example, they probably won't hunt that morning or evening where the 2nd type would. I'm sure some of the decision is also based on game density and behavior of the deer if they've been hunting that spot for a while. I would say that I'm the 2nd type of hunter a majority of the time. I just enjoy being out there and I want to see and collect as much information as possible. For those who want to hunt that morning but are afraid of spooking deer with the blind, I've heard that they'll set it up the day before and come in to sit that morning. Hope that helps. Sorry if it's not a definitive answer.

    • @MasterofNone365
      @MasterofNone365  9 місяців тому +1

      They’re advertised as 2-3 person for this one but it’s definitely closer to 2. It would still be a little tight with 2 people though, especially with a bow and gear on the ground. Thanks for watching and the sub! Good luck this season!
