Wiley X Detection Shooting Glasses - First Impressions

First impressions of the Wiley X Detection glasses. All the way up until today, I was never able to wear sunglasses while shooting my bow. The Detection kit comes with 5 different lenses. The box has a diagram that tells you which color is best to use based on how much light is in your environment and also if you need more contrast from plant life behind your target. I definitely appreciate that. With the absence of a frame and bridge on the glasses, I’m able to aim through my peep without any obstruction. I only got to shoot with these orange lenses today so I’m looking forward to experimenting with the other ones soon. If you’re looking for comfortable ANSI rated, lightweight glasses to wear while shooting your bow, the Detection kit is the way to go.

How do you find the comfort of the frames? Do they fit will over your ears? Are the light or do you feel them noticeably sitting on your ears?

I personally found them to be pretty comfortable. They fit nicely over my ears and I didn't feel them squeezing into my temples or the areas above my ears even with a hat on. The legs are a little wider than most of my shooting glasses so the pressure is spread out a little better. If you had a really wide face, you might feel them more but I think they're more comfortable due to the wider legs. There's actually a Memorial Day sale going on now if you want to jump on it.
