Hi, and welcome to my channel. After 10 years of not riding a motorbike following a serious accident involving my wife, I've recently got back on 2 wheels and want to document the journey. As a professional drummer and teacher I've found over the years that I need an alternative creative outlet other than music and I have always loved both video editing creating. So why not combine the two passions Bike riding and Video creation. Who knows where this will take me. Il be posting Cinematic creations, POV riding, travel and adventure, but also learning, testing, fixing, upgrading, detailing etc.
I'll be sharing lots of dash cam footage of the crazy encounters that happen when riding a motorbike on the roads, as well as more in depth documented trips to far away places.
I hope you enjoy the content and please share with me your adventures too!

Have a great week everyone!
😮
Looked like he was going some speed man. Good spot.
Yea he came up real quick!
Don't forget your life saver check too buddy 😉
Yes Good Shout!
"There's nothing coming" I could see that car approaching through the mirror the first time you checked while watching from your dashcam on my phone. You need to look further in the distance than just close by and actually look at how quickly they are approaching. Situational awareness comes down to more than checking mirrors a few times to see whats around you but actually taking into account what the things around you are doing.
Great points added. But how do you know when the 1st time I looked was? 1st time I looked I didn't even move my head. He wasn't there., then he was. Very quickly.
Really enjoyed this, I love seeing this bike. Blind spot indicator speaks for itself & I look forward to consuming your new channel. Easy sub! 👍
Thank you very much! It really means a lot and I appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment! It really helps motivate me to make more videos! Am still testing new mics to capture the sound of this bike. I think I have finally cracked it and am just on my way out now to test! What bike do you ride? And what type of video would like to see? I'm thinking doing a 5 things I like/dislike about the bike
Jealous..... spiteful...drivers.....it happens
Every day 😔
1 Deer and your gone Buddy
No Deers in these parts 😁
Spot on
Hope Ur well man!
Very naughty drivers. It’s got to be down to these guys thinking it’s against the rules. Some drivers are nice enough to give more space. But man I always feel a tantrum coming on when they do what they did to you. 😢
Hey man! Yes , I try to always stay calm. It should be classed as dangerous driving tbh. Most of these people would never swerve to block a passing car. It's infinitely more dangerous doing it to bikers
@@RTPOV I know, right! You have more patience than me. When they do this I can’t calm myself 😂😂
Filtering a motorbike through traffic is already quite a contentious subject. Here in the UK its legal to do if done safely. Sometimes I do it, sometimes I don't. I tend to only do it in stationary or very slow moving traffic as doing it while its moving quicker can sometimes feel too unpredictable. I just don't understand why some car drivers make it harder for us by deliberately closing off the gap. Its dangerous and only amplifies the already vulnerable position we are in. What are you thoughts?
Wise lesson!
Love the sound😍
Thanks! It has a Mivv Exhaust on it and it is quite naughty! My rear reg plate has melted and Im not sure if its just the heat from the exhaust or if its coz its spitting flames on the downshifts 😂 Im gonna attach a camera to the rear and test the theory!
Cute backup camera, can I have a link? 😅

I just got a motorbike a Yamaha yzf-R125. It’s a bit scary around corners but I always think ahead.
Nice! Congrats! 1st year is always the most sketchy! Be careful!! Where are you based?
What about the Spanish Inquisition, nobody expects them.
hahaha! Its been a while though.. probably more chance of the Monty python Crew jumping out!😂
Same goes for going up a hill and can't see past the peak!
Yes thats a good one! What bike you riding?
What about the deer that jumps out the Bush?😂
Haha!! yes very true! I'n that case brace yourself for impact!! Lucky there are no Deers in my these parts!
I was about to say i think thats why the saying "oh shit" exists lol
Oh Dear ! 😀
For a biker, you're not very observant
What makes you say that?
@@StoffelDilligas cheeky
Generally if your not speeding, accelerating too rapidly or acting like an idiot (filtering dangerously for example) the UK police's only concern with most bikes is the cars around them not giving them space. They don't want to arrest/fine bikers (or any driver for that matter, UK police can not police for profit unlike the US and do not get given quotas to fill beyond reducing incidents), they want road safety first and foremost. Thats why they openly advertise were the speed cameras (including the mobile one's) are at all times, they want you to slow down since they get nothing out of fining you. By policing for profit I mean UK police get to keep nothing of any fines or siezed property from cromes or traffic offenses, any cash goes to a central government fund which is allocated without police involvement. US policing they can police for profit, siezed goods (not just from crime but also civil asset forfeiture) are put directly into local/federal law enforcement budgets. Traffic fines are often split between the local authority (city) and the police directly, more tickets=more funding. Hence US police piloce for profit and have goals set about that (which is technically illegal but they found loopholes), UK police do it to generally increase public safety and meet safety/crime reduction targets (which do not come whth any financial rewards, often just bragging rights between different local police forces/shifts).
Great information! Thanks!
Happy ending😂
We all like one of those! 🤣
U r so fucking stupid for doing this
Thanks for your kind words! 😊
Weve all done stupid shit trying to get somewhere. Anyways I have to ask, the solid white lane splitting the lanes I always understand it means no overtaking. Does this also apply to filtering in these situations or is it still legal to filter even with the solid white line.
Hey man..In this case, the solid line is for the cars coming in the other direction. Which would mean also no filtering .. You can see the double solid lines turn into split lines on my side which means you can pass. Still a really bad move on my part 😔
Good on you bro for holding your hands up! Making mistakes on a bike can lead to misfortune so always be careful and aware of your surroundings 💯👊🏾 stay safe out there
Yes we were so lucky here and I felt really bad for a couple of days after this. Do you ride?
Hope you are all well! Just posting this here so others can learn from this mistake. It was back in Feb, when I had only just got back into biking. Really stupid mistake and I was very lucky that curb drop was where it was. Ride safe and have a great week!
I hope everyone takes note of the reality of what could of happened not just for bikes cars as well TOP MARKS
@@frostyfrost4094 Thankyou! I thought it was worth posting to bring some awareness to these things. Moist of the time its our own actions that put us in danger 👊
This is the Kingsway tunnel longest from Liverpool city center
Sure is! Are u local? Do you ride?
Tht is a game😂😂
Life sure is a game!
How many people are back riding after an accident? how was it? how did you overcome it?
You sir 🫡 as a engineer myself I salute you on the innovation on that mount. You are a genius.
Wow thankyou very much! I'm a total novice so that really means a lot! I still need to adapt it to lower it into a more discrete position, and I was thinking of a custom mould where the fittings are instead of just the bolts and washers. What bike are you riding? 👊🏼
What cam? And what settings if you don’t mind?
DJI Action 4. Use different settings. Not sure for this video. Possibly full Auto/Dlog
She was so exited! Shes always so happy and vocal on the back of my bike!
Should of done the Birkenhead tunnel, Wallasey is the easy one
100% Ride safe 🤙
What u riding?
I have a Buell XB12R Firebolt and a Can-am Spyder RTS. Looking to move to just one bike in the garage and getting a Triumph Bonneville T120.
Hbu?
Nice! What's a 3 wheeler like to ride,? I got. K1300s and a custom bobber based on an 1982 TR1
@@RTPOV nice rides. The Spyder is definitely different, but still lots of fun
Ha, nothing compared to me. Dog leg on the R snapped at 60mph, rear wheel snapped the hugger and hit the seat. Rear bolt out eas;, front one, the torx socket snapped😢 sadly recessed bolt. Dremmel to the rescue hopefully. I prefer times timesert compared to helicoil. It's always the last cylinder you check that's faulty.
Wow that sounds scary! Did you come off? Were u ok? Think I'm leaning more towards timesert so thanks for saying that!
@@RTPOV Thankfully not, scary for couple of seconds, must be how H-D riders feel. A new dog leg is around £25 and probably £10 for new bolts. I felt destructive, or take an angle grinder to the bush/bolt.
Glad to hear you were ok, and hopefully youl get the bike back up and running soon! Was it lack of grease in the splines that caused it to break?
@@RTPOV no, it wasn't the shaft, the dog leg in the suspension linkage, between the frame and the shock absorber. New bits should be here Monday.
Yea sorry, I ment to say bearings. It's coz ther rods I said splines. I've heard of dog bones snapping due to lack of grease in the bearings. I took mine apart when I got the bike and cleaned/regressed them all. Going to do it once a year
Half as much as a Harley I’d say you’re good lol
Haha 😂
I don't think I completely understood the question. You asked if other people ride motorcycles for 1-2 hours?
It's about having to ride in traffic/highways for a while just to get to some countryside/quiet roads to enjoy the ride
U can adjust some out using the thumb screws on the cables ( close to the grip ). Just ensure when you turn lock to lock the revs don't increase. There has to be some free play there.
Thanks! I think mine can be adjusted so gonna take a lil bit of slack off later!
they sound so well tuned with the right exhaust '...if only we could hear it but.....
Haha, yea it sounds real nice! I didn't have a decent mic setup when I recorded this video. Here's a link to the bike with just raw sound- ua-cam.com/video/1NrfbvB95vw/v-deo.htmlsi=JSDA2TJNJKBTQlfZ
Motorcycling is extremely dangerous and should be banned globally
Haha...ye ok. People are dangerous...should they be banned as well?
@RTPOV thats what jail is buddy
Lol... Jails are dangerous ... What about them? 😂
@@RTPOV tf is this logic??
yeah exactly people use motorcycles cause they are dangerous thats the thrill nobody gets excited when there is no risk
All fine
Thanks! I guess I need to get more used to it. What you riding? Is yours the same?
@@RTPOV few hogs, ktm 690 and few enduro bikes. :) yet to properly ride a racing style bike like this.
Nice! Love KTMs . Never ridden one either. Mines a sports tourer so a little less aggressive riding position. Where u based? A ride out/ comparison would be cool!
How much play should there be? I'm sure this is too much. It's a little unsettling at junctions and roundabouts etc
The average is 2-3mm of rotation, yours is probably slightly over 3mm
I would say it's normal but you don't really want any more than that
Thanks, I think I might try to adjust it just slightly back a little
Mmm... A little on the high end of motion, but yes I would say it's within average tolerance.
How far you guys gotta ride for some quiet roads?
You say its fun but you have to give way in case the road is narrow and you are going down the slope becuase it is harder to climb so the cars they have right of way lol
They stopped for you. I didn't see you slowing down.
It's just a bit of light hearted entertainment. Not really having a go at anyone 👊🏼
Entertaining with appropriate music.
Thankyou!
The others didn’t need to “move” for you because there was already enough space, stop spreading false negativity and acting like you are the main character and everyone needs to drive off the edge of the road so your royal ass can pass😂
It's just a bit nonsense.. not trying to spread negativity. sorry you didn't see the funny side. Have a great weekend
FFS just get on with your ride
It's just a bit of fun. Have a great weekend!
