Cool to see pete holmes. I know him from the badman series on UA-cam which is hilarious. Seems like a nice enough Christmas film. Never heard of it but i won't skip past if i see it.

A movie i appreciated more afterwards but the ending for me was just a bit flat and disappointing. Hugh Grant was great though.

i was debating seeing this during the week, but anthony mackie is one of those guys who just has no star power to me. everything I see him in I leave feeling completely meh. Maybe ill give it a look after this

I completely get every point you made. I fear the trailer actually kind of mismarkets this movie and It feels a lot more like a "Saw" games type of movie than it is. I think this movie just comes down to whether or not the conversations start getting heavy handed or not to someone, as someone who is decently religious I never got to that point so I think thats why I enjoyed it a bit more

I want to see this one but I'll have to wait till this weekend and my local theater won't have showtimes up til Wednesday.

This movie is so good! I really wish more people would see this movie! A24 really needs to do better at marketing their movies

I just saw it...this was a DAMN GOOD movie...with a killer script, dialogues and acting. (a rarity these days)

I loved the dialogue-driven tension, I really favour dialogue-heavy film in honesty. And I really liked the casting here. And then they went into the basement and it became a whole lot of silly. I'd have liked more of the dialogue pre-basement, and then when they did choose and open a door, it just lead safely outside. With a message that all that lies outside beyond a door is reality, and our teachings, beliefs and prejudices encourage us to try and shape reality.

I definitely am interested in it as poking doubts to religion is always fascinating to me though I can see how people would get frustrated that it’s marketed as a thriller/horror but it’s more of a talkative/philosophical movie instead.

I know you made this short earlier this year, the biggest surprise in this list is Terrifier 3. A movie budget or 2 million dollars earn profit to 18 million dollars and then beats out Joker 2. That saying alot.

It sounds like a good old-fashioned heart warming story. I'll probably save it for Christmas, but I'm interested in seeing it.

The director duo look like they have a future in. The horror genre

I enjoyed it, but the story felt a little empty. There needed to be something more at the end than what we got. It just felt like he didn't have an actual plan, he was just riffing the whole time. Good review!
