We have never, ever used bleach to wash clothes and our LG Waveforce rusted also. We have always poured Oxy Clean into the tub with our whites. It makes no sense why ours started rusting. It is completely corroded 9 years later! We love the washing machine except for the fact that it rusted and corroded.

Another option is to sand to bare metal, paint with Rustoleum primer followed by matching appliance touch up paint. White is easy to find. Odds are your new panel will eventually rust in the same location because the factory paint does not appear to seal the steel against acid. It may help to apply some clear silicone in the affected area of the new panel. Poor paint selection, prep and seal at the factory. The edges of metal are the weak link for factory paint jobs. Once the corrosion starts, it will spread under the paint. They could have put a clear vinyl wrap over the steel in this location for pennies at the factory.

I got the smaller one the Flambeau backpack Pro Angler kinetic blue FL30004 the next step down. Is just lighter to carry. The last year my son had me get out of plastic hard box's to bag with boxes.

Ok I replaced the top on ours about 10 months ago. Same rust location, all due to the bleach dispenser. After replacing the top I covered up the bleach dispenser with blue painters tape (really looks nice). Now my wife pours in the bleach directly to the tub after its fills with water. Works great now. The new tub shocks showed up yesterday and they will go in soon. This will be our second set on this washer. Good luck out there.

HI What were the symptoms of this part needing replacement? Mine is not making a heavy grinding sound but a more heavier swishing sound and I feel like it is going the way of yours. Great video Thanks . Like you I had to replace the top - rusted to hell and never use bleach as that is what LG accuses consumers of as the root cause of the rust. Just bad paint/rust proofing. Wish you had shown what the machine sounded like with the part going bad.

Do I need a 1/2” drive Corded impact (ala lug nuts) gun? What model and combination of various drives did you use?? Mine scrapes while rotating back and forth during wash and rinse cycle. Does that suggest bearing/ clutch assembly? Thank you! Don

Got one of these recently and having major buyer's remorse. The resistance on this thing is a joke compared to the "dumb" bike it replaced. I have to run it at 22-24 to even feel like I'm getting a workout, which makes it about useless on the trainer run programs since they keep you down in the 15-18 range on most of the workouts. So 90% of the resistance range is useless. Heard the same thing from other users, that this bike is just incredibly easy to ride and most are "spinning their wheels" on the lower resistances. The stats also do not display correctly despite adjusting the reed switch and trying to calibrate it. It's telling me some nonsense about burning 700 calories for a 10 minute ride, lol. Only RPM and Resistance seem to work. It came with a broken part on the main part of the bike where the front bars go in and there is also a huge Styrofoam stain on the side of it from where it sat for 2 years in a hot warehouse. The 1-year free trial didn't work and was only good for a month. Customer service has been less than helpful and wants you to pay shipping to mail this 140 lb. bike back. Having to unplug the bike after every use since the screen won't shut off is another major con. Just overall it feels like cheap Chinese construction and no way should this bike be $1500 retail. In hindsight I wish I had just bought another "dumb" Nautilus bike as my old one lasted me 5 years and was just starting to wear out.

Hopefully you got a chance to swap out the negative and positive wires going to the block to a bigger Guage.
