mushroom-land got me 🤣🤣🤣
@ejiasidaniel2183 how you animate empty?
I love how far your tutorials have come in such a short time! The length is now perfect-not so long that it’s overwhelming to follow along, and not so short that it misses important details. You do a great job not just demonstrating how to create things, but also explaining why you do them, which really helps me understand how to use Geometry Nodes and iterate on my own projects. You also have a keen eye for visuals. Thank you for all your hard work, and please keep creating!
so sick, attribute blur method is off its head. best blender channel hands down
The effect looks beautiful!
Amazing, fascinating project and very good explanation
For those having trouble in the store_neighbor_of_edge group, press N to see the properties of the Group Input and do not chek "hide Value" or "hide in modifier", so you can later lebel properly. Excelent explanaition" thanksss
WT$&$&&$$$😂
Thats crazy!! You're a genius! Since 2 hours I watch this and came till minute 9:31 😅 (BTW So well explained! <3) THANK You! And thank you for the amazing work! The visualization with the 'Viewer' node for the steps are amazing! 🙌
I managed to UV unwrap a more complicated mesh (using the minimum stretch method) and use the UVs and seams the way you did to essentially remesh it for cloth sims and it’s really useful for all purposes
u r amazing Sean. thanks
5:07 SMOOTH A LOT! 🗣🗣🗣
You didn't show the node system in 1:40 (SplitCurveByAngle)
This is Vellum in Houdini Gdmt Blender so close to Houdini!!!
what a cool project! love it :)
nip nip nip
stunning stuff
Something I don't understand: Why do you 1) apply various "set positions" to move points around, 2) calculate their velocity based on those moves, 3) move the points based on that velocity at the start of the next sim step. Aren't you just re-applying the same movements again? Why do that?
Fantastic Geonodes technique, you make it look so simple, Thanks for working on it. Wanted to ask you, Can we insert any mesh instead of Typography, as in svg or any 3d model to turn it into inflated as well? thanks in advance.
Tutorial 🫣
Metaballs?
There are like 20 nodes in here that should be shipped with blender in groups the same way they ship hair nodes.
Absolute magic. This delaunay triangulation method is way too important to be hidden inside a 20m video though. Very cool. I'll have to screenshot it.
texture so good, we need a tutorial
👇if thought those things were pimples 😅😅😅😅
chanterelle appreciator 🫡 i just thought about those things yesterday, so random to have an interesting blender youtuber have a name referencing mushrooms. always wanted to try them. great video by the way lmao.
Wow, there were a lot more steps to this than I predicted. It makes me wonder how to recreate Blender's cloth sim if you wanted to say put a shirt on a person walking. Would the movement of the person between frames confuse geometry nodes ability to calculate the collisions?
first time ive watched at 0.75x and still pause and rewind
Congrats u just have made fluid solver like in houdini and x particles.🎉 you are genius🎉❤
So much impressive. Cannot believe that blender has infinite possibilities. You are magician 🎉❤
Amazing!!!!! I was waiting for old core cloth then....Baaaam, i am looking at GN cloth sim right now? That is crazy! Would it be possible to support tearing cloth parts in futur?
The old simulation tools in Blender are end of life, there won’t be any further updates. New high level simulation nodes are on their way once all of the low level functions, loops, lists, performance improvements etc are in place.
wizardry!
Thumbs up before watching
I am amazed at that knowledge you have
I got the auto translation at it shocked me.
We don't deserve someone as skilled as you🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thank you so much for these videos <3
Great video, love the logic and finishing touches. Also like the timelapse, as I can pause the video and go through it frame by frame (with `,` and `.`). Simplification of the alive logic: Value = [(2 or 3 neighbours) and (Alive)] or [(3 neighbours) and (not Alive)] this will return 1 for staying/becoming alive, and 0 for dead/needing to die. Thanks!
Genius! I ve been looking for this tutorial for a long time. I m still very new to blender, I need to copy step by step even without understanding what its going on, but its still enjoyable. the whole video is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!! May I ask you a favor, could you increase the res to 1440 in future? cos its a bit blurry especially when you zoom out the nodes. 😀
Cycles looks really nice but I had a lot of trouble making the animation smooth, there were a handful of spots that looked like it jerked back a frame or so then went forward again, no matter the settings it glitched a lot, but, i doubled the frames and then switching to evee fixed it for me, just started playing with 4.3 so well see if it reproduces like that with other projects.
So basically you create vellum in Houdini namely hair simulation
i smell a touchdesigner brother
Got Damn!!! THIS IS AMAZING PURE MAGIC!!!
😉 One day you will find the .svg files in the blender folders.....
Very high quality work and fantastic tutorial. Thanks you so much, I will be watching all your other vids!
Does anyone know of a way to stop the algorithm from 'over-solving' once its been triangulated? (I'm very green when it comes to geometry nodes... and not very good at math :( ) Also, could you apply this to a point cloud? (-maybe modify the equation to include the Z axis?)
Hey - while I am rendering my version of this brilliant tutorials, I thought I would ask (hopefully you remember) why or more importantly where did you get the formula [frame]/[number of frames] *2PI = seamless loop ? Thanks
WOW ! and Thank you
thanks for the free tutorial I guess we pay by the torture of its complexity, this could be 30 minutes tutorial after trying to do it 3 times I could reach the final, thanks again
OMG...so cool except my bubbles keep blowing up. I went over all the group nodes 3+ times and isolated it to the apply constraints group...but the node graph was identical to your tutorial. So I downloaded your tutorial file and noticed that my neighbor distances were a 100 times larger than what yours were. They are vertex neighbors after all and should be very small. So went thru the store_neighbors group node...and there it was. I had disconnected a geometry connection to a store attribute node...Argh..! Now it is working perfectly. Seanterelle, you are a genius!
