6:00 wrist Warmup starts - ~30 seconds wrist circles (+ some wrist extensions, just loose your wrists up) - ~20 reps palm facing down wrist pulses - 12-16 palm facing down towards you wrist circles - 12-16 reps fist to palm facing upwards - 12-16 reps fist rockers - ~20 seconds finger strengthening - ~30 seconds wrist circles again Little to no rest in-between the excercises. Rest a couple seconds if needed. Only 1 cycle of these is enough to warm your wrists up, you can do more cycles if you want to properly strengthen your wrists without doing for example handstands
PS, secret: Do deadhangs: you'll get amazing forearm and grip strength
I've trained for 3 years now too and my gains look similar to yours
Proud of you bro - keep it up and you'll make big things happen in life! ❤
Good job. Just wait for the fake natty fitness fans that have never even trained to come and tell you "You are not working hard enough".
STAHP wearing shirts in your videos! GAH! 🙃🤪
no amount of working out will stop the damage you do to your lungs. there is no way around smoking. it’s expensive, makes you a slave to nicotine, and every day you smoke you are harming your body. and one day you will wake up & wonder how did you become so old so fast, why can’t you stop coughing, why you can’t work out anymore. lung cancer & throat cancer risks are so high! you don’t see many people with a breathing hole at the bottom of their necks anymore. they used to be fairly common. but my generation and many others before & after mine were shown & taught the consequences of smoking. pretty sure smoking is no longer talked about or taught about and a new generations of uneducated adults are going to ruin their lives and all who love them. i think breathing holes are about to make a comeback.
You are someone who changed my life I was going to quit smoking only cause I think like others smoking and working out doesn’t work but you made perfect sense in your video about smoking and working out can we talk more

nice but would have loved a visual explanation compared to explaining it with words
I’m a calisthenics noob and even I can do it, ez
Muscle-up Routine: - Warmup (scapula pull-ups, arm swinging, swinging on the bar, wrist rotations, etc.) - High/Explosive pull ups: 5 sets, 2-5 reps - Weighted pull ups: 4-5 sets, 2-5 reps - High pull ups (change grip): 3 sets, 2-5 reps - Straight bar dips: 3 sets, max reps - Abs: 3 sets, max reps (hanging leg raises, lying down leg raises, flutterkicks, knee raises, planking, crunches, tuck front lever, l-sit, etc) choose the ones you enjoy most Good luck friends and family
Thx for the advice. Exactly what I was searching for. I will try it and send my feedback here later, if I remember to do so anyway
thank you, this is great and I respect your hardwork I'm starting and it's hard, but you maked me understand that I have to keep going
Thanks man, I'm 15 and I've been doing calisthenics for a few months now and this video is very informative! Keep it up.
Did you lose any muscle? and did losing the weight help you get stronger?
I think I lost about 5 kilos over the span of these months Probably gained muscle tbh and definitely gotten stronger
@@LeyendaVinke dang bro that's lit, also what do you think of @achristianstake
i love these types of videos, you gave me more strength thanks
Hola
Read Allen Carr's Easy Way to Stop Smoking. Do it for yourself. You can still smoke while reading the book... hell, you can continue smoking even after you've read it, who cares, right? If you read it and don't stop smoking, you won't be in a worse position than you are now. You have nothing to lose. I was in your place once, and this was the only thing that made me quit, and it was easy. People like past me and you right now don't realize why cigarettes suck-it's called the "nicotine trap," and it's explained in the book. No one cares that it's destroying their health. Everyone knows that. But there are some things that are even worse about smoking & you don't even realise. Read the book. Don't throw away your life just because you're too lazy to give it a shot. Read. The. Book. Thank me later.
wow...i have pretty much EXACT same situation , started calisthenics 6 month ago and progressed from 7-8 pull ups to 15 as well as a muscle up tho i suck at handstands XD keep it up and you'll get to elite levels man , good luck with your journey
Good luck brother
Muscle up workout routine: - Warmup (hanging, scapula shrugs, shoulder swings, etc.) - 5 x 5 reps of high pull ups. (Try muscle up here, go as high as possible) - 5 x 5 weighted pull ups (can do anywhere from 3-7 reps, but keep it relatively low) - 3 x max high pull ups - 3 x max dips - 3 x max hanging leg raises/any other abs excercise Handstand excercises (make sure to warmup wrists ALWAYS) - max handstand holds against the wall - 10 reps of kicking up to the wall and holding ~5 seconds in a row - handstand pushups against the wall -> superset into Pike pushups - max crow/frog pose holds - dips for strength L-sit/V-sit: - Core Compression excercises - Hamstring stretches - Shoulder stability excercises like handstand, dips, planks etc - hanging leg raises and other abs excercises Pistol squat/dragon squat - Cossack squats (these were the best for me, trust me) - bodyweight squats - deep squats - bulgarian split squats Just practising (weighted) pull ups/dips/pushups/squats will also always help with any of these skills, along with stretching
thanks
🐐
Remake this when your 55.
Really good video man, I also have been doing weightlifting for a few years and felt the same way about it, never really tried calisthenics properly because I dont know anyone else who does it, but might just give it a go on my own
gonna make a beginner calisthenics "guide" soon, but honestly there's a lot of other great youtube videos to help you progress to your first skills Good luck
that being said, I've never watched any of those videos myself and just winged it Only thing I sometimes do is see how to do something with correct form and technique
@@LeyendaVinke that would be great, thanks
i think you are severely underestimating the negative sides of cigs
I kinda can see this, I almost never smoke cigarettes but if literally every other aspect of your health is fine, sleep, diet, working out regularly, mental, is good but you smoke a few cigs a day is it THAT bad (20 is a lot tho becareful bro), I personally would never be a regular nicotine user just for personal reasons but I do like to buy an elf bar or some shit sometimes (normally when im out drinking) but very rarely. Hope this works out for you but just make sure to do the research and make the best decision for yourself, I get its fun but if its damaging you despite your otherwise good health is it worth it?
This is a great video man I love your attitude. Your view on life is very enlightening and above that, this video reminded me that the point of going to the gym is to enjoy it. I have been working out for about a year now and started by doing the exercises I loved and saw great progress in. Over time I subconsciously gravitated towards more of a strict gym routine that doesn't allow for a lot of flexibility for change and furthermore didn't allow me to enjoy the gym, which once again is the main reason why I started going. You're the goat bro thank you.
That's amazing to hear man, keep grinding
This is my exact logic, glad I found someone who agrees
2 days clean
i mean you excersizing doesnt change the fact that ur lungs are pitch black. bro you had me in the first half ngl 10-20 a day?? from my experience when i was smoking a few cigs a day it became much harder to walk up a flight of stairs. im sure you'd perform better without smoking. and im not even against nic, maybe if you eat into the zyn hype its actually like a stimulant i think...
I'm aware it's a vice. I'd perform better if I didn't smoke, I won't deny that That being said, performance wise my lungs are fine atm. I could run a marathon if I wanted to lol
I smoke bc of u. I am 12.

Smoking rocks
@@davidplump242It does. It didn't before but now Gen Z has made it cool again like it was in the 80s and 90s.
I love cigarettes and working out
the best preworkout 🤣
i mean its better than smoking ciggs n not living healthy af. Lots of people drink alot and exercise alot, nobody judges them tho
Smoking is bad However, for some reason I feel like 'society' hates smoking, particularly cigarettes, way too much compared to drinking alcohol. And in my opinion (at least in the short term) alcohol is way worse than cigarettes are
Even if your exercise, smoking will damage your lungs. It will even affect your sexual performance. Your life will likely be shorter.
Deze gast snapt het 💪
What gym did you go to that they let a complete noobie spar hard? You should never ever go back there. Especially if the instructor didn’t tell them to take it easy.
Brother, it was my choice to spar hard, not theirs. I could have easily said to everybody I sparred against that it was my first time. Also, the trainer knew and I also went with 2 of my friends who also knew it was my first time. To blame the gym for 'letting me spar hard' is ridiculous at that point
@@LeyendaVinke cheers brother . Haha just wanted to cheer you up :)
@@LeyendaVinke tbh its true they shouldnt let new people spar especially the first time
@@LeyendaVinke how did they not realise you were a newbie? They probably figured it out first few minutes in
You have gyno
I signed up for 1 day of training at some maui thai degestani gym. Coach gave my untrained kicks some compliments, but he also saw me gas out after a few minutes and made the entire class do cardio. I would go back but its kinda expensive
Somewhat the same happened with me, the trainer told my friend that I did way better than most people who have their first fighting experience ever And yeah, if you have the money it's definitely a good addition to your life
you're a dork
please eyebrowmaxx
Fucking beast for joining me, next time will be even better 😤
Well, that was interesting! Are you going back? You need to avoid serious damage, especially to your teeth. Dental work is expensive.
The possibility of serious damage is honestly what makes fighting beautiful. I will probably still mostly do calisthenics and maybe combine it with fighting once per week because I want to be an amazing calisthenics athlete
Good advice.
Ok but did you do a ++8 Azure Vault?
There will always be sheep in this world mate, that's what makes the few of us feel great. Although to be fair, I would feel greater if my "best" efforts were matched by the average man in the world.
About your words helping you not procrastinate I don't think it's silly. Personally I think it's about respect. When you don't respect someone you don't take their words or "promises" seriously compared to someone you have a lot of respect for you'll make sure you don't break those promises. The same concept can be applied to yourself.
Hey man I love your videos. Can I ask how do you keep yourself to the standards you set for yourself? I'm stuck in an endless loop of getting motivation to change and I do actually start bettering myself but I only last 3 days or so and then I just stop and go back to my old ways.
Thanks bro, to answer that question entirely I'll need to know more background information as there's so many different factors and everybody has entirely different outlooks on life As for myself, I've been through that a whole bunch as well and even nowadays I'll have those moments sometimes. I think as you get further into your own journey and keep reminding yourself to keep walking the path (never giving up, basically) you'll gradually get more consistent. That being said, you have to truly be determined to want to get better even after having reached some level of success. -> there's always a bigger mpuntain to climb, the biggest mistake people make is get complacent after doing well for so long. You have to look at it as a fire inside of you that you have to keep making bigger and bigger, even after having setbacks and failures Hope that somehow relates to your situation, good luck 🙏
