my mother just died from cancer (dad left when I was in elementary school). I'm living in a trailer with my alcoholic Uncle, in a different state. I've also got a pretty bad auto-immune disease so I can only get to school 3x a week. idk man, it seems like you're very blessed and not very empathetic to shit that other people suffer with.
I emphasise with you, and I hope the best for you first and foremost 🙏 I speak for most people, and most people aren't going through the horrible things you've had to go through. That being said, even in your case as horrible as it may sound, you have the choice (as hard as it may be) to come out of this with a success story or not. I wish you the best brother
Hey good looking, yeah, I agree with everything that you said...for the most part, context matters. I'm not sure "deserve" is always the correct word in terms of lifestyle though, do hoarders deserve the clutter of their house, do depressed people deserve to be depressed, or do they *condition* themselves to their filth? You mean well I'm sure, and in your context it's absolutely clear about your intentions, but it helps to expand your POV.
The self-help gymbroisms are strong here. The idea that people encounter circumstances or conditions that they didn't deserve, shouldn't be controversial. The idea that there's more to it than thinking they just didn't work hard enough shouldn't be a novel concept. No, in this life people get plenty of things they *don't* deserve, both positive and negative. It's really like you've never experienced life or any adversity. This is bootstrap p-rn and just world fallacy writ very large.
many including myself, have taken a long time to realise, we're respponsible for ouw own success. It's a hard pill to swallow to accept and see that, it was probably your fault, this whole time.
i dont watched a second of that video but i find it funny that algo keeps recommending me this stuff since i searched for some self help stuff years ago lol. probably a good message from the title but what do i know bottom line get off the internet kids
