    Those are just good habits increase your wellbeing in life. Nothing too strange about it. Everyone needs rest time, but if you do not enjoy being mediocre then you shouldn't rest like it.
    For me, I don't really count cardio or swimming or short sprints or things like that as workouts. Working out is more like building muscle and training with weights for hypertrophy or strength, even with just calisthenics as long as you go to failure with that intention.
    Also your point with "performing on my worst days" is probably the key takeaway of the video. Amazing lesson, everyone should live like this no matter where they are in life.

      Yeah that's true, a lot of my cardio is pretty chill. Sometimes tho ill do long distance which is tough asf
