Yeah this design is awesome. And seems far easier to build for the home shop. I dont mean that negatively, or in any way that takes from the genius engineering that went into this dividing head. Honestly, its relative simplicity is what adds to the genius of this dividing head. Ive been researching designs for quite some time, and this is the first one that is achievable with my equipment in my shop. Thank you for this video and all the information you have shared!

@@Sarcasmarkus Yes indeed. I shall don my monocle 🧐 and pour a single malt upon the ice I mined from the purest comets in the Kuiper Belt in my glass made of pure diamond as I machine this dividing head. *harumph* indubitably lol

Hi Intent to inform: I made one from some/your plans, be aware that the excenter plug has a way to thin wallstrength with +-1mm. I broke min off after the 1. use. As seen here in the clip your excenter grabing plug is at least 12mm thick. The whole system is very regit besides the somewhat misleading plans spec, it is a very good design.

I was given a huge box of VERY used End mills of many different sizes, some are carbide. All are dull as a river rock. The machine shop Tool and Cutter Grinder quit so the shop just tossed dull bits in a box and bought new ones. So, I will be making this tool very soon. Just bought a copy of Mr Hall's book #38 too.

A nice design, actually relatively simple to make if you have the machinery and tools required... At least simpler than if it had a worm-wheel mechanism with an eccentric bushing as a rotary feed...

Hello Mr. Harold Hall. I've been searching through your books of which I have #s 34, 35, 37, 38, 39, 42, 44 and 49 all from the *Workshop Practice Series* . Unfortunately neither contains drawings of your excellent rotary table. Searching the internet "only" reveals the one from Hemmingway. The link on your website to _Projects In Metal_ have linked to a server which have been in the process of changing to another server for years now. Is it possible that you can do anything so that the drawings will be available in any way? Charged/free of charge? Thank you in advance Sir.
