Thank you for producing these videos Mr. Hall--It is a treat to see and hear a favorite author describing his work in this manner.

    Hi Harold,
It was only a couple of months ago that I printed off your plans to this saddle stop to make a couple for my ML7.
Thank you for making them available, it's good to see it in use.
I also have a couple of your books and look forward to building some of the projects in them.
    Regards
    Raymond

great video, perhaps a small upgrade would be to taper the end of the bolt where it stops against the saddle. This will help with swarf not giving a false reading . I put a 60 deg included taper on mine so it has about a 5mm end on it and then further rounded that over with a file after turning the taper. I now find swarf has a much less chance of getting stuck on the end of the adjustment bolt. Thanks again for all your great ideas.

Thanks all for your comments. Unfortunately though, at 84 (2017), I now find it necessary to limit my involvement in my website and videos as the brain is not as agile as it once was.
However, should you want to contact me, use the contact page on my website, here, www.homews.co.uk/page6.html . Do please read my comments there before posting.
