My name is Johnny and I spend a lot of time in Substance Designer
I find that most tutorial content online can be summed up by either "You should do A" or "You should do A instead of C" - Instead of this I've always wanted my students to have a really solid understanding of what A, B and C do so that they can actually gain a knowledge base and apply that to future problems of their own.
I bring eight years of experience to the table working as an instructor and mentor at Think Tank Training Center. I also created the Substance Designer course for the online program as well as instruct the Advanced Environment Production for Games course.

Making Catacomb Walls in Substance Designer
Today we're going to be learning how to make a Catacomb wall material in Substance Designer.
This is the first full material walk through I've done. I wanted to do something spooky for the Halloween season and Skulls are almost always my answer.
