Honestly I'm more on the side of "Skip Lingsha" but considering I'm not really looking forward to a lot of the future characters that might be coming out, I might attempt for her anyways. I think her e1 is a big game changer for her overall for ANY team comp, more so than her S1 due to easier breaks + 20% def drop when any of your teammates break an enemy, it is big for a lot of character who aren't Firefly. At e1 she is actually a crazy strong support for Boothill in particular as the ult debuff that increases Break damage taken is huge for Physical Break in general and Boothill can constantly force Break damage, not Super Break which is unaffected by the debuff, plus the def shred is just another massive damage increase for that Break damage. If she wasn't Fire element, i'd definitely say she is better for Boothill than FF, but clearly Hoyo wants that Firefly God Comp to exist so here we are.

Even being mentioned in the same breath as a 4 star means she doesn't really deserve a pull for anyone on a budget that doesn't need a 2nd sustain imo.

I love sexy brunette, fire, abundance, super break, hot as balls healers. That’s why I invest in Gallagher

Because ppl don't realize that supports last forever while dps units don't but they much rather go for Feixiao and then topaz. Feixiao isn't gonna last forever but as I said ppl don't seem to understand that. Plus they keep saying Lingsha is a five star Gallagher so no point to get her yet we'll go for Feixiao when she's basically a wind/hunt Acheron. Or any other dps unit that would possibly just be replaced next update, don't worry Rappa seems like she'll be a super break that will most likely work really well with Lingsha and they'll start regretting it. Happened with Kazuha and Raiden so it'll happen here

I guess we have this Nerf to thank for making Jiaoqiu's Lightcone actually usable; A 60% base chance plus 50% Effect Res would've made the Effect Hit Rate requirements insane.

Why pull her when ur teams are cracked already and E6 Gallagher does the job really well. I would honestly much rather go for a harmony support rather than a healer as they are the main dictators of meta teams.

most people in my circle who want to invest in superbreak are simply waiting for superbreak tingyun at this point. why roll for a slight upgrade on the sustain when you can roll on probably a bigger upgrade to your superbreak amplifier?

As a new player, just pushing into equilibrium2 with my best team being Robin, Feixiao, Asta and Nat as my healer would you suggest I pull for her? I am really keen on trying to pull for Topaz during this rerun for my follow-up based team. I am willing to pull for both if it would be the right move but as a basically brand new player I don’t know what to do Any advice from anyone would be welcome. My Lingsha is gepard 😭

Got really lucky for lingsha at 15 pulls after robin pull, also got lingsha, robin, yanqing, sparkle, and himeko for 100 pulls just by pulling one at a time 😂😂

Sadly, I'm skipping her. I blitzed through a LOT of Pulls for Feixiao, planning for her E2S1 and failed her Lightcone Pull at the last moment of her Banner. Lingsha definitely looks cool, both visually and her kit, but I already have various Sustains for Shields and Healing alike, including Gallagher at E6S5. I'd rather save my Pulls for the next major banner rather than just go all-in on a character that is basically Gallagher +1.

She is totally trash character just like maximum Hoyo game characters.

In HSR, the shield is a better sustain if your DPS is doing a lot of DMG, and heal is a cheap element (You can toss Gallagher Lynx or Natasha...) She is good for newcomers and whales.

Lingsha is a premium support for break teams which makes her less useful than others for 2 reasons. 1. Gallagher exists and is slightly worse at healing but similar for break and a SP genning beast 2. Other premium sustains are more versatile. Fu Xuan brings decent crit boost, especially at E1 which makes her great for any crit oriented team Aventurine-if he didn't exist, Lingsha could be good for follow up teams but he stomps her in those. Ave is arguably the best sustain in the game. At E0, he's already the best for Feixiao/follow up teams, at E1 he gets SP positive and E2 is where he becomes a God. The best sustain for both, Fei and Acheron, the two strongest DPS in the game and a great support for rly any DPS except Blade thx to having a follow up, debuffs on both ult and normal attack and Huo Huo-amazing sustain for any ult spam oriented team by providing energy None of these two have a lower rarity counterpart or a better alternative while Lingsha has strong competition for all her roles 1. For break healer there's Gallagher 2. For FUA sustain, Ave stomps her 3. As a general sustain, all the ones I previously listed provide a more general niche than her

I just want her bc I find break teams to be the easiest to build and I'm planning on getting Rappa. I have Gallagher on my Boothill team so I want lingsha to either be on my Rappa team or depending on how I see she works maybe put her in my Boothill team and give Rappa Gallagher, but maybe not bc lingsha does use more sp than Gallagher and Boothill needs sp (Boothill is priority...anything I do it's to get him to be the best he can be...260% be and 140 speed but I can do better surely...he's the love of my life)

Is chasing hypothetical metas worth it? I'm a Jade enjoyer and it's a little ironic that her skill does not synergise with shielders like Aventurine. But Aventurine also sports a way tighter fit than Lingsha. I respect what Lingsha does and how a little micro managing makes her nice with Jade. But goddamn girl rocked up in a skirt smaller than my account balance, with her hands and feet caked in red hot cheeto dust.

Me when I see an "upgrade" to Gallagher that has manatory SP usage. Whereas he never needs to use his skill whatsoever except as a panic button. Yeah no thanks.

As a new player, honestly just the assumption of having characters is really sad sometimes to me. I missed out on the free Dr. Ratio, which, yknow, I’d already feel kinda bad enough about- but when it comes to four stars, I don’t have Tingyun or Gallagher yet. Yknow, two of the strongest four stars (I believe anyways) that everyone always assumed you have a copy of…? What’s worse is one of the few limited five stars I do have is Firefly- who kinda relies on him a bit. I also only joined the game after one of my favorite characters ran- so I’m kinda just left with this feeling of being pretty far behind haha. I know I’ll catch up eventually but still, it doesn’t feel too good right now. But I’m still enjoying the game regardless!

if it wasnt for that shaite 50/50 any f2p mindset should be pulling any QoL sustain and support it just the basic thingy on turn based game to pick sustain and support over dps, while not as mandatory like support that can buff spd/turn modification, lingsha does have QoL heal and cleanse, without looking how she can deal aoe damage and other break utility but yeah, its gacha game and its hoyo (no pvp so most likely nerf/buff change directly to character kit wont see it coming out, only thru relic/planar and probably other synergies with new character that can make already released character doin it well), what can you do ?

People will regret not pulling for Lingsha because 3.0 is gonna be Summon meta and Lingsha is gonna be used more for future characters

The main issue seems to be that so many players pulled Gallagher and his Eidolons already, so when you already have him built there's no reason to pull her when you can instead wait for someone new

The only reason I have to get her today is because I started playing on Robin's release and I had skipped Aventurine for certain reasons. I'm missing a FUA sustain and I have 2 beloved break teams (Boothill + Firefly) and I want to run them together and for that I'd need a second Gallagher. I'm genuinly excited to get a unit that has a summon and will make my only FUA team (Feixiao/Moze/Robin) strong and fun to play.

Need topaz lightcone. Saving for tungyun, Sunday, and herta. Too many upcoming characters I want. Granted they are unconfirmed, but leaks in this game are proven to be solid.

I will pull for her but I really wished if she has a different element 😞

In another gacha game, specifically Arknights, there's also a similar situation with Myrtle (a 4* unit) and Saileach (a 6* unit), whereas Myrtle is so strong that people can't really see her downside and Saileach (being designed to directly powercreep Myrtle) is regarded as nothing more than a quality of life unit, and that's not mentioning how lower rarities units there costs a lot less than the higher one to upgrade

I'm really losing my interest in the game when they release: Guinafen but better, then Clara but better, and now Gallagher but better. Like out of 4 chars only one doing or feeling like something new is Feixiao

Creators set the community tone towards a character, Lingsha got framed as a slightly better Gallagher (if that) by creators and now that is all the community sees her as. The thing is, for most creators they are pretty big spenders and a characters versatility doesn't matter as much, just how much of an upgrade they are to anything in their best comp. She doesn't need to individually crush Gallagher, to be better than Aventurine in Fua, or to convince people theres a future archetype coming that is going to fit her perfectly... It is her versatility to fit in in a very useful way in all of that and more that should be of import to the average player. If you need a second sustain that is incredibly appealing, if you don't then it doesn't really matter.

She's a "Pull in her rerun" character for me. As i dont have enough characters for her. I Definitely wanna use her since i use Himeko alot even in normal content because i just like Himeko, So having a sustain that helps with break helps alot...

I fell like I’m one of that few people considering going for Lingsha. I probably won’t get her unless I can scrounge up 50 wishes by the time her banner ends but if I do manage to get her early it’ll be good. I will finally have a good 2nd sustain and won’t have to use Fu Xuan for everything, and not only will she make my FF team better (I’m using huohuo currently and huohuo sucks imo) but she’s also good in my fua teams as well. For Me Lingsha is like 3 birds with 1 stone.

Her pull value is low cuz of the state of Enemies right now they keep on making Fast Enemies that can one shot your units that running healers is just not optimal. Pulling for Shielder Sustains is just a much better investment in anyone's account. If they keep on making these types of enemies the value of healers will just keep on going down.

Imo..without ff or harmony tb she's nothing tbh.. but gallagher he fits almost every team and F2P FRIENDLY

i dont really need another break sustain. my gallagher is good enough, and hes not even fully built. my huohuo is fine, she can heal a really good amount. what i need, is aventurine

I feel her issues can be summed up in a few ways. Gallagher is already more than enough for break teams so that already lowers her worth. She's pretty reliant on Firefly having her e1 to really maximize her kit. We also have tingyun coming up who may or may not be break based. Them dreams are pretty wild these days. I think the big thing for me is she juat feels like a unit who's going to be more wanted on a rerun than on her debut.
