I can't remember a time I worked on a project car and everything went smoothly. It seems like there's always something that goes wrong and takes way longer than you hoped. Guess it's part of the process still very annoying though.

Im looking for a 68 Mustang 390 GT automatic. Convertible. Sold my first one in vegas 1977. Sold a 66 in alaska. Just taking my time looking. Found one in Arizona. Missing motor, transmission, drive shaft, rear differential, gas tank. Glass is great, body looks good and frame is straight. The owner is in no hurry to sell. So im still looking carefully. 😮 JMHO

You dont need to tell the auto car collector world. What you can do is post pictres and the name of the proud craftsmen that did the work.😢 let the new owner post the sales bill. 😮 its a big country but the internet allows the word about these thieves to get out also. JMHO

I remember you could buy brass brazing rods at any auto parts store. They were also used to fix small holes in exhaust pipes and to braze new exhaust pipes together without the use of muffler clamps. I remember the old books on auto body repairs. They always showed cutting the old floor boards out with a torch and then putting on the brazing tip and brazing the new floor boards in. I bought my first mig welder (A Blackhawk) in 1986. It sucked compared to the Lincoln one I have now.

I have a Viking regeneration feature and my battery was at 5 volts and it pulses between 12amps and 15amps but I don’t have a load tester. I like a car tester but does the regeneration cycle change the ccs of a battery I am not sure

I so wish I had a car guy that lived near me. We could work on each others cars together and get our project done so much faster. It is a pain being a one man show.
