Russ I have watched similar shows like yours. Your shows are by far the best. You are able to connect with people because the knowledge you have and speaking ability. Other shows don't have that connection and can't hold my attention because they don't know how communicate with the audience. Keep up the good work. 👍
My Mustang projects always ended up with three row copper/ brass radiators. If cutting the core support was allowed I went with wide crossflow radiators and fabricated mounts. If a bolt in will actually cool (98°f in traffic, A/C on) that is so much easier.
It's pretty hard to beat a brand new as advertised replacement. The workmanship looks great with ample clearance. As for spacers...thats nothing that a good bandsaw couldn't fix if one doesn't have a shorter one floating around. A great score!!
Yeah this is the way to go. I just put one in a few months ago from the same company. Outstanding product and less than half the cost of a copper brass or a recore.👍
Looks like a well built radiator. They don't list my 72 Lincoln but do list a radiator for a 72 thunderbird which should be the same. I will keep them in mind when my original radiator fails. Thanks for the review.
This is where things get really tricky. Because you have done such a nice job on the body there are sooo many things you would like to/should replace while the car is apart! Decisions decisions. 🍻
@ Another fair point. I didn't even realize that would happen. My objection to using an electric fan on a classic car is purely aesthetic. Thanks for that.
Could Sunday morning be any better, hot cup of coffee a doughnut and HRGG I don't think so! Well good morning Russ, those radiators are spot on we use them all the time with on problems,we did how ever got the wrong one once out of 5 times not bad and the price is doable with our applications we have used the 3 core with no issues, now things are getting really interesting,oh I should say when I get down to the with the guys you sir are the topic of the day,I love to the point that who ever doesn't watch is the goat for the day and I didn't start it they did lol but dad ends up being the gopher for them I don't mind gives me a chance to have coffee with my buddies, God bless and peace out
That radiator looks great . All nice and shinny too. No dought it will make a huge improvement over stock. These cars had cooling issues due to hop up parts and limited cooling surface area.
One thing I have found is that 4 core doesn’t necessarily mean better. Some 2 core, 3 core have bigger circulation holes. The 4 core can be restrictive and run hotter.. but still looks quality! I’d paint it black thou
Good review. A new shiny radiator for the new shiny '65. That'll be a good upgrade for all your labor putting the pony back on the road. The way your putting the'65 back together I'd be paranoid to take this 'stang out in the rain for getting it dirty!
I installed a Cold Case radiator in my maverick with the same style fan and shroud. it overheated right away. I had to ditch the shroud so it would cool. That shroud is still hanging on my wall.
It does look really well made is it a US product or still made in China I have seen some that copy the top tank of the original I do hope that you get a free one for your Mustang build.
nothing beats a good ol fashion unboxing.Shine is worth EXTRA HP too!!!!
For sure!

A cross flow is always more efficient if you have the room
The sequence of it spinning at 1:51 was so good, and then "TONG" I LAUGHED FOR A MINUTE AND A HALF. Why was it so funny to me??
That's why I left it in 😆

A great score!!
It's a pretty nice unit
Glad to see you getting some product support.
Appreciate that, it's always nice to get some help

They really are a great deal for the quality!
Keep your cool
It will definitely do it!
Even have stuff for a 6 like mine. Cool!
Absolutely
I have one of their radiators in my big block chevelle wagon. Nice piece for the money
Awesome, it definitely looks good
I had to swap out the spacer to shorter one for mine to clear the new radiator.

But did you get stickers in the box 😅. That's a nice looking radiator.
Definitely no stickers :(
I put a aluminum radiator in my 64 f100 when I put it together. It's been working perfect.
It's a great upgrade for sure

Yeah usually that's what I have to do on the torino stuff 71-73 mustang is the same thing . The t bird should be the same as your lincoln

Yeah it's never ending!
Beautiful radiator... I do love electric fans, but not on a classic car.
Only if no other options
Every time I tried electric fans on my classics, they just severely loaded my stock charging systems.
@craighansen7594 with any added on accessory its wise to upgrade the charging system to at least a 100a alternator and size up the cables

Appreciate you, they seem to be a very nice unit for the price point
Looks like a quality part. Most are hot garbage these days. Enjoyed the video.
Absolutely these look well made

Definitely better then a undersized unit!
Good to see things are going well.
Definitely trying to

Definitely a possibility, fin contact vs flow capacity, this one's for my 66 if they send another I will paint the front black for 65
That's pretty cool Russ😂....
It's a nice unit for the money

It's a nice unit for sure, maybe they will send one for the 65 too!
Nice looking radiator! G
It's definitely nice to see more progress!!😎🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
It's a nice looking unit for sure
I run an original 4 core copper
Works great. Had my local radiator shop rebuild it, and make it new again first.
Highly modified 302
Hard to beat a redone OEM, I had a OEM 3 core J code 68 radiator redone a while back and it was almost 800.00 but worked great too
@@HotRodGuyGarage total of 100 dollars in it. Bartering works. Sometimes lol
@@randyoehlert5045 can't beat that
Good score on the radiator! It's a good looking unit! It should cool that 289 just fine! It's nice that you give us a discount code!
It's very nice especially for the price point it's right up there with the big names at a discount price!
Looks good too
It is a good looking one for sure

Sometimes depending on depth they don't allow enough airflow through the core especially if not baffled with some flaps

It's offshore made , but looks real well unlike most
