I'm looking for ways to make my cob smoother to ride his fast and strong and I have owned him from the day he was born but he is so lompy to ride he has given me a hernia and unless I can get this sorted I will have to sell him ,he's 10, I'm 55,, I don't want to have another operation . How far apart do I place the poles for him I think pole work will teach him to take even strides so we can achieve a regular rhythm and me not bust a gut ,,literally ,, when he comes up with a short stride mid canter or trott..? Many thanks in advance. He goes fine by the way

Hope the brain gets back to normal soon, but glad you're feeling better. I thought you lost the SD card out the GoPro, I was thinking good luck finding that. Ejected one of them in the car and the whole passenger seat had to come out to retrieve the thing! LOL Good job with the GoPro on the stick, bit more reach out and it'd be perfect. Certainly not the easiest thing to do completely blind whilst dealing with a fresh Nelly! 😂

Just found you after buying my first horse at the age of 39 ❤ paddy is a 14.3h traditional cob, he’s 7 yo and has the sweetest temperament, I’m hoping to begin some schooling asap together but don’t really know what km doing as such so just looking for some pointers really and I think this will really help. Even down to showing me how to lay the poles out ❤

As you know we love a track system and it works amazingly. The only problem for blue is we don't tend to keep Angel on the track much as she can't have access to the hedge 24/7 as she spends all her time scratching on it which could be a problem for you. Also is there a reason why you can't keep him and stumpy together on a track?
