Woody wasn't designed for global warming (A change of plans) / Equestrian VLOG

- My plan for today was to take you all out for a lovely ride with Mr Woodster but unfortunately he was just too sweaty to do anything with. So I decided to go ahead and give him a much needed clip instead.
It's certainly not ideal to clip a sweaty and dirty horse, but I really needed to get that hair off of him and waiting the best part of the day for him to dry off after a bath just wasn't a good option at the time. I would not recommend trying this unless you are a competent and patient clipper with an equally patient horse!

Had to pause the video at "he kinda smells like a dirty sock" so I could pick myself back off the floor!! 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
🤣🤣🤣 it was an accurate description
A horse is telling you:Winter is coming...Big : )
Ooooh you're so close to 2000 subscribers well done!
I know eeek!! Wouldn't that be cool if we got 2k by the end of the year ❤️
Goodness I didn’t realise you’d already clipped him this year. He really does grow a lot of thick long hair.
Yes to the chest area being difficult!
Only his tummy because it was getting sweaty and matted. Then it grew back and got sweaty and matted again 😭
Like a big size polar bear..but I feel them when the have the itches
Haha that's a great description 🤣
@ ❤️
Hahaha he kinda smells like a dirty sock 😂😂😂 sorry life got busy recently so I'm just catching up on youtube!
Nothing to apologise for, I do exactly the same x
Maybe this is how Heavens tells you to move to Antarctica? :P
@@LilithVaan I did consider this recently .... Seems like a good place to get some peace and quiet 😂
He was one hairy dude😂
Hairy hippy dude that one 😆
i hate clipping the chest area for that exact reason 😂
The ears, we can trim / tidy up the outside, pinch together like you said and trim the long bits but the trimming of the inside is no longer allowed thank god as mine hated that being done
Glad it's not just me 😂
Ah ok, I thought that was probably the case with the ears. I must admit I never liked the idea of completely clipping out the ears
How long ago was it? It's colder now lol, hate clipping my cob but he'd be like a mammoth if not, one day I will be prepared to clip wear the right gear and not end up with hair in my eyes, ears, mouth, down my bra and basically everywhere 😂 I despise clipping, they all grow such a coat, nothing to do with temperature I've found over the years, you end up clipping to be able to rug🤔
Some cobs just go all in with the winter coat don't they 😂
@@raversmead sure do & it doesn't even seem to relate to temperature
@@cindbin64 maybe once they get triggered (by a cold or wet spell?) then they have to commit to it? 🤷
