Sorry it's not a very cheery one today guys. Mr Blueberry managed to undo all of our hard work over the last month and a bit, and is now back on box rest. He decided to go through the fences (yes, plural) and help himself to an all you can eat buffet which plunged him back into lameness. I was already grumpy due to a relentless migraine over several days, and him doing this was just the icing on the cake and absolutely not what we wanted for him, especially considering how well he had been doing 🥺 Horses, who'd have em?
Oh Blue, you devil. What a shame, you need to listen to your poor, long suffering Mum. You're a very lucky boy to have such a loving Mum...be good young man.
❤Mr blueberry is like a naughty teenager, always keeping you on your toes... hard work but you are so very blessed to have all of them & all that you have, just some advice on migraines, I get them when it's that time of the month & they can last a few days, I've found that a lemsip works so well ! Much better then any tablets , a lemsip & a sit down for 20 mins to give it time to work usually does the job , best wishes to you & thanx for another great vid , ❤ all your videos are great 👍 interesting / entertaining & informative ❤xx
@@susanm3503 he really is. Whenever we take him out the judges love him because of his character and quirks ... And I always joke and say "yeah, it's cute when you don't have to live with him" 🤣
But he's also a very disrespectful horse who gets bored easily and takes great joy in causing mischief 😂. It could be that there is something there .... It could also just be his personality 🤔 The vet did suggest we test for EMS if we struggled to get weight off of him, but we haven't been recommended for any follow up on that one as of yet so I'm assuming it's fairly unlikely
I like the idea of a track system, but mum is yet to be convinced. Our ground is too wet now anyway, so it wouldn't be until spring. I am interested in trying it though, he does like to wander around a lot and I think a track would do his mental wellbeing wonders

Sorry about the relentless migraine, nothing worse!
Arghhhhh Blue undoing all your hard work 😢, silly boy.
I like ‘agent of satin’ though! 😆
@@EJMEQUESTRIAN it is the only accurate way to describe him some days 😂
Blue you naughty boy lol , he’s such a character but we all love him, tfs x Julie
It's a good job we do love him 😂

Ha ... Now why would he do that? 🤣
Oh Blue 😢 He surely keeps you on your toes.. really sorry as his recovery was going so well. Horses are a nightmare when on self destruct mode 😅
I think it's just generic destruct mode with him. He's an agent of chaos 🤣
oh No Mr Blueberry 😪 I hope he's back on the the road to recovery very soon
He is, this one was shot a few weeks ago and he's doing so much better now ❤️

He is a naughty teenager 😂 yes the migraines are 100% cyclical for me too ... I've not thought to try lemsip, I will give it a go next time x
Woody is still my favourite, but Blue really is such a *special* boy.... 😜🤪😝🤯😂
I feel like Woody and Blue are different kinds of special 😂

Ugh Blue, you holy terror! You're not supposed to be stressing mum out like that!
His hooves do look really good tho'!
'holy terror' ... Yes I like that. It suits him 😂
He looks like a right character

That behavior (eating like a machine, going through fences for food,...) screams metabolic issue.

Would you ever consider moving him to a track system for a few months? They work wonders for good doers and laminitics.
