    I came across your UA-cam channel and wanted to watch as many videos as possible. I’m still in problem-solving mode. This video helped me realize that. I’m not going to watch any more videos right now. I’m going to absorb and give myself some self compassion. Thank you! 🙏🏻

    I’ve been chasing so many solutions to get ride of my pain. Every time I’m hopeful that I’ll find the solution and it works for a little bit and then I’m right back where I was. I get so down and depressed. I don’t have any joy about my future because my future might be filled with pain. This was really helpful and shifting the way I think about my pain. Thank you! 🙏🏻

    Thank you! I’m having a bout of TMS right now. I know it’s because the last job I had was an extremely toxic. I was being demoralized every day in many different ways. I quit the job, but it really hurt my self esteem. I’m not sure how to get it back. There was so much hostility that I just had to take. If I had set boundaries, I would have lost my job.

      Thanks so much for sharing this. It can take a while to build back self-esteem, and remember you are your best supporter. Now that you changed job anyway, take an internal decision to only welcome supportive and respectful people in your life. You can also do small things in your daily life to express respect for yourself (e.g. allow yourself to take breaks or to pursue something that you love).

    • @painoutsidethebox
      @painoutsidethebox 19 днів тому

      Very likely you had a negative experience with injury, or somebody has told you that you ought to fear your body and has scared you. You can't get injured unless you have an incident or unless you do something that is beyond your fitness levels. It's important to work on trusting your body again, knowing these pains are not due to injury and will NOT get worse with workouts (unless you fear that they will!) Don't buy into your fears, be firm with yourself and you'll see the difference ;-)

    But if there IS a structural issue (like a misaligned pelvis), can that be emotional?

    • @painoutsidethebox
      @painoutsidethebox 2 місяці тому

      The misaligned pelvis would be something separate, and probably not the cause of the actual pain you're feeling. Everyone is a bit unbalanced or misaligned somewhere or other, but that doesn't mean that the misalignment is causing pain. We have to get clear on that first. You've probably been a bit misaligned all your life, so why would you have started feeling pain when you did? The reason is probably emotional, unless you really had a bad accident and you're still healing.

      Start slowly with activity. Start with moving your body a bit more naturally, and walking short distances first while reducing your fear. As soon as you react to pain with disappointment and upsetness, this holds you back, so you have to be very disciplined with yourself not to buy into the fear.

      Yes, I understand that would happen sometimes. It's ok to fall into doubt now and then, and you can't change this if it's already happened. Hello! Thanks for your information. I've been having psychosomatic back pain for over 45 years. I went through all possible treatments and different types of specialists. Finally I came to the conclusion: psychosomatic back pain. It comes and goes anytime and anywhere. In my case it's related to my mental health. Any stress or situation can trigger that. If I don't have it for a while I have noticed I am waiting for it😮 I don't talk about it with anyone but I keep touching my back all the time. Also doing some meditation and self talk. My psychosomatic pain is more tolerable now because of the above technique. I know it will come and go but it depends on my subconscious mind. Keep fighting ❤

Not everyone completes the program till the end (like with all online programs), but from those who complete it and whom I've talked to I'd say about 40% had complete symptom elimination and 50% experienced improvement. The improvement typically continues after program completion as individuals continue implementing the teachings and habits. About 20% need a coaching session or additional therapy / work.

      @painoutsidethebox 4 місяці тому

      Because you believe you have a repetitive strain injury. This may be true if you've had a recent injury in the last month or so, but in most cases repetitive strain injury is a misdiagnosis. your body is not injured but your brain has learnt to perceive danger in that part of the body and creates pain to try and protect you.
