The Calvinist Contradiction

Is Calvinism contradictory? If so how is it biblical? This channel is a compilation of short videos exploring the Calvinistic systematics blatant contradiction while offering a more consistent view of the Bible through Provisionalisim.

Calvinists- what is the difference between a child and a hardened person?
I’d love to talk to you about Limited atonement sometime. I have read a bit of Dave Allen’s book but not all of it. I believe the way I nuance it fits with the Reformers and Synod of Dort view. Most importantly, I think my view fits with Scripture. Feel free to reach out to me anytime. God bless
Calvinism hardens the hearts of those who believe in this false doctrine. It perverts God's nature and makes Him to an instigator of sin. It creates a bunch of self righteous narcissists who think they are better than the rest of the world. It's not only blasphemy, it doesn't make any logical sense. Very sad. Let's celebrate the birth of our Lord and Saviour, who died for each and everyone who accepts His gift. Merry Christmas everyone!
Not a Calvinist fan myself. Folks get a kick out of reciting the tulip points.
You know who you're describing? The mother who birthed Islam, Calvinism, Mormonism - the False Prophet of Revelation, the Roman Catholic Church. Her tentacles extend throughout false Christianity (Jesus and Mary are part of Islam), secret societies, etc. and together they are Mystery Babylon. The true and false Trinities in Revelation: God = the Dragon (Satan) Jesus = the Beast (Vicar of Christ) *The Church = **the False Prophet *Christ's Body, the true Church, prophecies and performs miracles by the Spirit of Christ. **The false "Christ's church" prophecies and performs miracles by the spirit of Antichrist (Our Lady of Fatima, Our Lady of Guadelupe, … Lourdes, etc). Revelation 16:13 KJV And I saw *_three unclean spirits_* like frogs come out of the *_mouth of the dragon,_* and out of the *_mouth of the beast,_* and out of the *_mouth of the false prophet._*
Calvinism is just Christianized Islam.
Could you define what you mean by "meticulous control" and show where Calvinism requires it? By "Calvinism", I mean it as a corporately confessed belief system, not something cherry-picked from one-off authors. I'd be very interested in where one finds that sort of claim in any of the historic Reformed confessions or catechisms. For example, would you have a problem with the Westminster Confession's idea that God ordains all that comes to pass, yet in such a way that he establishes human free will and the liberty and contingency of second causes by what he ordains (3.1)? That there is nothing absolute necessity of man's human nature that determined us to good or evil (9.1)? My concern is that a lot of the things that riles up anti-Calvinists are things that they made up whole cloth and keep perpetuating among themselves without fact-checking, yet have no bearing on the actual confessed beliefs of Reformed denominations. For example, Westminster in the shorter catechism speaks of God's decree in terms of creation and providence (Q 7-9, 11), yet when I see most anti-Calvinists argue against God's decree, they don't deny God as creator and sustainer, or God as King of kings and Lord of lords. Their arguments always seem like they aren't actually aimed at Calvinism, but something else. I often wonder how close they would actually be to Calvinism if they dropped the contrary stance and just made their own positive claims about what scripture teaches.
you have to realize that yhwh is the devil.
Ywhw is God, creator of all things. The devil was a created angel who defied God and was thrown out of heaven. To call God what you did is blasphemous.
@@BiblicalTeachings I see it as blasphemous to think Jesus and the Father deceive people like yhwh the devil. Ezekiel 14:9 9 And if the prophet be deceived and speak a word, I, Jehovah, have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him

Ok, too funny, I was going to say you were coming across like Leighton Flowers with an obsession on attacking Calvinism and what do I see when I go to your channel, Flowers Flowers everywhere 😆 cracked me up 🤣. I'll still watch some of your stuff, hope we can talk another time, take care.
Subscriber count is just sitting there at 666! 😆
A funny deterministic riddle is when Jesus said “Israel how I have longed to take you under my wing but you would not.” (🤔 God has a desire that someone do X + God determined that they not do X = God wanted something he would not give himself. 😆)
Under determinism every choice God provides is just a false choice.
Flowers pushes the Calvinist view to a hyper determinism. Not all Calvinist have irrational views of how God determines things. But non Calvinist tend to give man too much credit for what they are actually able to do
And brother. If you are an arminian, you're a brother. Why are you so angry? It seems like you have so much bad experience with Calvinists?
I agree we are brothers/sisters but Calvinism is a lie from the pit of hell which defames Gods Holy character and turns him into the devil himself. Under Calvinism God is responsible for : -every atrocity man perpetrates, Rape, Murder, Porn, Extermination of Ethnic groups, Racism -producing every Satanic resource Angry? I spend hours of my time to engage with people so as to produce conducive conversation, don't mistake my passion to uphold Gods character as only anger.
Maybe consider. That when we say author of sin, it points to Adam and not God, and by God ordaining, it means he allows man to free fall into sin while he also use common grace like a webbing that prevents a total fall without any good. Hence any evil comes from us, and any good comes from the Father above from whom there is no shadow of turning. And we don't put God into an active and passive category, since He is outside of time. He has seen and determined the end of things. He is creator and we are creature. Hence Calvinists never make God to be the author of evil. Did he ordain it? Yes, but only by utilising what is already a fallen being. Acts 2:23 (ESV): 23 this Jesus, delivered up according to the definite plan and foreknowledge of God, you crucified and killed by the hands of lawless men. Like this passage, God's definite plan includes Jesus being crucified and killed by lawless man. Hence it does not negate man's responsibility. And this, is the greatest evil there is in the world, the Son of God dying for our sins, taking our place, when he is innocent and righteous. Hence any further evil we will see in the world (or previously done) is done by fallen man, but allowed, or ordained by God. We meant it for evil and God means it for good to come out of it. (e.g. Joseph and his brothers, Genesis) Romans 8:28 (ESV): 28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose
I'm sorry, what's the question again? And which part of the Calvinistic systematic theology is problematic?
Please answer this question: Under Calvinisms view of God's sovereignty (meticulous control) How/Why would God before the foundation of the world make Moses deny and dispute His own will for him (Moses) multiple times in in Chapter 6? Exodus 6:10 Then the Lord said to Moses, 11 “Go, tell Pharaoh king of Egypt to let the Israelites go out of his country.” 12 But Moses said to the Lord, “If the Israelites will not listen to me, why would Pharaoh listen to me, since I speak with faltering lips[c]?” Exodus 6: 28 Now when the Lord spoke to Moses in Egypt, 29 he said to him, “I am the Lord. Tell Pharaoh king of Egypt everything I tell you.” 30 But Moses said to the Lord, “Since I speak with faltering lips, why would Pharaoh listen to me?” How does this make any sense at all under calvinism?
@@thecalvinistcontradiction6398 Tbh, I don't understand the issue. Why can't Moses ask God questions? Or have doubts?
@@leod5609 Seriously, Thanks for your engagement. Exactly there is not an issue until you realize this is impossible under calvinism. Calvinists believes everything that happens comes to pass by God's sovereign will (meticulous control), therefore under this systematic we have God using Moses to refute His own will for him for reasons unknown since the bible says nothing on this. Its nonsense masquerading as theology.
@@thecalvinistcontradiction6398 no problem brother. I think his meticulous control does not negate communication between man and God. He does control all things that comes to pass, but in it there is still human agency. And in calvinism, God still allows man to rebel, or to even sin grievously, or to question Him, or to be angry at Him. But ultimately man will execute God's will. God still communes with his creation :) Edit : and also, these communications help us to know what kind of God He is :) patient, long suffering, gentle, benevolent, loving. Or, another example, when God "searched" for Adam. It's not saying God can't find Adam, but it's an anthropomorphic, human like way of communicating with us.
Neuroscience proves Calvinism. Benjamin Libet's experiments in the 1980s showed that brain activity indicating a decision occurs before the individual becomes consciously aware of making that decision. This has been interpreted by some as evidence that free will is an illusion, as our subconscious brain makes decisions before we are consciously aware of them.
I don't think you are representing Calvinism accurately. I can't tell if it's intentionally being done or not. You sound hysterical in this video man. If you are a brother in christ I hope you don't take this wrongly. Just one point you might want to study further is the means God uses for his end. For example, you might say, in a calvinistic worldview where God controls everything why would a believer evangelize if God will save with or without evangelists. This is a misunderstanding of the calvinist belief. What you're doing is closing one eye (the use of means) and leaving the other eye open (God completing his end). God tells us to evangelize because that's how he has ordained it to happen. This is just a matter of fact. So when God sends Moses it does not contradict Calvinism. This is how God wanted it to happen so it's going to happen that way. Much more could be said but I hope thus brief defense would open your mind to see this is not a shallow subject you are interacting with
Hey, Thanks for the engagement with the channel but please answer the countless questions we posed to calvinist throughout not only this video but the whole series. We do not want to label you along side of the many other calvinist who claim I have no idea what i'm talking about or that iam miss representing Calvinism though you took zero time to answer a single legitimate question compromising your theological world view.
Certainly limited atonement can be biblically proven through Bible verse exegesis. But what if you could see that the Arminian/Provisionist atonement schema was impossible? I mean impossible like you cannot get there from here impossible? Let's use both Bible passages and Bible logic. First, Leighton Flowers himself most definitely believes in limited atonement. Otherwise, he would believe in universal atonement. And there are some Christians, however mixed up, who believe that everyone is saved. Leighton is a limited man on this issue. But let's put this to the test. Pick your favorite OT lost person. Do you like Goliath? Pharoah? Ahab? Jezebel? Any will do. According to Jesus in the NT, where are these folks right now and what are they doing? They are in Hell, experiencing forever the wrath of God against them, having died in their sins, and now paying for their sinfulness throughout eternity. Now back to Jesus. If, say, Ahab is at this very moment experiencing the wrath of God forever and ever for his sins, then how could a just, righteous, and loving God force His wrath upon His Son on the cross 880 years later to pay for Ahab's sins when Ahab has been doing just that already for 880 years before Calvary? To believe that, we have the situation of Christ being crucified again, something really condemned in Hebrews 6. A/Ps love to see Jesus placed in theological double jeopardy as He suffers on the cross. Further, we also run afoul of Isaiah 53 wherein we have the depiction of the suffering servant (Jesus) seeing the travail of His soul and being satisfied. Not dissatisfied. Not worrying about Ahab still suffering for Ahab's sins despite what Jesus would attempt to do for him. And we don't have a truly angry Son of God wondering why the Father is making Him die in vain for someone in Hell forever anyway. Do you see the many problems here? In other words, Isaiah 53 is saying that Jesus is not some kind of masochist who just likes to suffer for sin; instead He suffers for the sins of a particular people, in this case, the elect. And only the elect. A limited (like Leighton and Calvinists would both agree on) albeit large group of people. Jesus prays about this very thing in John 17 when he declines to pray for the world. And our Dear Lord is satisfied in His great work to save these elect people. The people given to Christ by the Father for salvation. Again, John 17. This one teaching from God's word destroys Arminian/Provisionism in one move since we see here from God's word that Christ did not die for everyone. He died for the elect. Have a problem with that? Talk to the judge. That will preach all day. Amen.
Are you implying that God doesnt know Moses’s future? He can get angry at the outcome even if he knows the outcome. He does and anger is not a feeling of “shock” or “unexpectedness”. I get angry every time I see something that pisses me off. Even if I expect it, I can still get angry.
I have 3 questions I guarantee you will reject or be too afraid to answer. These questions will invalidate you if answered incorrectly. 1. Can ACTIVELY gay Men be accepted into heaven? Not talking about ex gays 2. Is abortion murder? The termination of the fertilized egg 3. Can Women Preach in church EVER? If your pastor answers these incorrectly, you cannot trust him
1. Can active gays go to heaven 2. Can Woman preach in church EVER? 3. Is abortion not murder?
No iam saying how/ why does God get angry at Moses disobedience if He caused it before the foundation of the world and there is nothing Moses could have done otherwise
I’m tired of hearing the terms “high Calvinism” or “low Calvinism”. Calvinism is Calvinism. It is a wicked false gospel. There is also no such thing as 4 point Calvinism. If you disagree with one point you disagree with the other 4. All 5 points are in agreement so you can’t pick and choose. You can believe in all points or none but there is no in between.
I feel like Jeremiah 19:5 is the ultimate Calvinism killer. That verse literally cannot happen, does not fit, does not work - of Calvinism is true. And I've never found a Calvinist with a good answer for it.
Weak argument.
Haha Calvinist "God determines all things by his will before the foundation of the world therefor no one can believe in God unless he has foreordained it from aeons past." The Bible Exodus 4:5 "5 “This,” said the Lord, “is so that they may believe that the Lord, the God of their fathers-the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob-has appeared to you.” Calvinist "Weak argument." The Calvinist Contradiction "@josephconkle3947 your decision to write that response shows you are either incapable of conducive conversions concerning this matter or ignorant in the material it takes to produce a conducive conversation, again only proving even further that calvinism is a farce. Thanks guy, peace and blessings!
@thecalvinistcontradiction6398 in Exodus 4 is not a problem for Calvinist. God tells Moses to a task. This task consists of him going to Pharoah and telling him to let the Hebrews go. Moses will be given power to do miracles. I see no problem with that. But, the problem for you is, God tells Moses that Pharoah will not let the Hebrews go because God will HARDEN Pharaoh's heart. GOD WILL HARDEN PHARAOH'S HEART! YES! why did God do that? We learn that in Romans that it was God's purpose to raise him up, so He (God) could show His wrath and make his power known. So, like I said...your argument is weak! You have to do better. I believed like you before I got saved.
@@josephconkle3947 Answer the questions we posed to you calvinism and stop spouting our theological ecco chamber palitudes. How does God give Moses signs and wonders that lead unto belief under Calvinism? Exodus 4:1-5 Moses answered, “What if they do not believe me or listen to me and say, ‘The Lord did not appear to you’?” 2 Then the Lord said to him, “What is that in your hand?” “A staff,” he replied. 3 The Lord said, “Throw it on the ground.” Moses threw it on the ground and it became a snake, and he ran from it. 4 Then the Lord said to him, “Reach out your hand and take it by the tail.” So Moses reached out and took hold of the snake and it turned back into a staff in his hand. 5 “This,” said the Lord, “is so that they may believe that the Lord, the God of their fathers-the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob-has appeared to you.”
So true
calvinism is an abomination to Christianity. it poisons and water-downs Christianity into it is nothing but a feel good religion. it pains me to no end that there are so many lost souls who've truly bought into those lies. I pray for their conversion. I implore all Calvinists to seek history and the apostolic churches and become a real Christian, a true follower of Christ and God Almighty.
Do you know the catholics erased the first Christian Bible from history. Your apostolic church is a judaized fraud. Marcion was right.
Moses was a descendant of Abraham so wasn't he chosen because he was a descendant of Abraham. Also a question, how come in Ephesians it talks about predestination. Aswell as did Jesus die for everyone or those who would worship him? If he died for everyone's sins did he die for the sin of rejecting him?
Hey thanks for the engagement of the channel and the questions asked. Yes Moses was a descendant of Abraham, Issac, through Jacob's son Levi since he is a levite as told in Exodus 2:1 "Now a man of the tribe of Levi married a Levite woman, 2 and she became pregnant and gave birth to a son. When she saw that he was a fine child, she hid him for three months." So Yes he was chosen to be the deliverer of the Hebrew people out of slavery and to bring the law but was not chosen unto salvation as that concept is no where mentioned in the bible. The Ephesians verse is says we are predestined in Christ Jesus Eph 1:"4 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love 5 he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will- 6 to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. How do we get in Christ Jesus, The Bible tells us clearly though belief (Placing our allegiance) in Christ Jesus. Did Jesus die for everyone or those who would worship him? The Bible says everyone: Romans 5:18 "Consequently, just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people, so also one righteous act resulted in justification and life for all people." If he died for everyone's sins did he die for the sin of rejecting him? No biblically its not only about him dying for the sins, that is giving the gift, you must apply the sins to your case by placing our trust in him, receiving the free better gift again see romans 5.
@thecalvinistcontradiction6398 with all due respect as someone who believe in calvinism I don't think i am better than anyone else because God chose me I know it was all grace and I definitely don't deserve it also it's more arrogant to believe that you chose God. Cause if that's the case it could sound like someone's saying "look at me I chose God I'm great". I want to know whether you think that calvinism is heretical and that ppl who believe in it are or aren't Christians
@@GLENS2010 Hey Friend, I believe you dont think your better than anyone else but your theological systemic dictates that. Again Romans 5- All are born into a sinful world and need a saviour, The new Adam offers a better gift (than the old adam) to all. All who accept the gift have eternal life. Accepting a gift has never and will never necessitate your the won who bought and offered the gift that is a fallacy. Receiving a gift does not, change the conditions for which said gift was bought or the reason for which it was given. As for your question "I want to know whether you think that calvinism is heretical and that ppl who believe in it are or aren't Christians" it is more convoluted than that. I think that there are good people who are trapped in a false theological system being perpetrated by both good and wicked pastors and calvinist leaders. People like driscoll. piper, sproul, and mcauthor are more wolves in sheep's clothing devouring the flock. Under them there are a multitude of pastors who teach these unbiblical doctrines for a number of reasons. Some have been deceived themselves, others knowingly accept and propagate this nonsense for personal or ministerial gains, others have abdicated their spiritual responsibilities and havent study the subject adequate. I am not their judge I am only being obedient to the call that the Lord put on my heart to stand up against this unbiblical and untenable which is enslaving his family in lies and making his words nought. I love you brother and I hope this helps. Thanks for the conductive conversation.
Wait are you christian or no?
With every fiber of my being yes I am!
If your still confused you can read the book of Job and pray for understanding while reading. We often read the Bible through our eyes, and while the Bible is for us but it's not about us. This is why we must read the Bible through God's eyes. So while you read, pray for understanding. And continue to read the Bible in its context. I hope this helps.
God is not committing our sins, we are. God, in his mercy has decided not to wipe out all sin and sinners (which is all of mankind) for our sake. If God were to destroy all sin he would start with all of humanity. That's why Jesus Christ came down from heaven to pay the price of our sins, which is death, with his death on the cross. For God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten son so that NO ONE WOULD PERISH BUT HAVE ETARNAL LIFE. Sin and death is not the will of God. God's will is for us to be saved. And we can see that through God's actions towards evil. Jesus's death is an example of God's grace, mercy and generosity towards us. Giving us an opportunity we don't deserve to be with the father in heaven.
OK now you just need to comeback to the true faith. The faith that is Pre-Roman Catholic. The Holy Orthodox Church ☦️
You're just arguing that your fairy tale is better than their fairy tale. It's all bullshit
I’ll give you the standard Calvinists response: you don’t understand calvinism, and with that they fix all their theological inconsistencies
Thanks for sharing. I am from Myanmar. Due to the severe crisis in my country, I am currently living in Malaysia as an unrecognized refugee. I am in the process of seeking relocation to a safe country that provides protection and security for individuals in situations like mine. This relocation is crucial for ensuring my safety and well-being amidst the ongoing turmoil. I applied to UNHCR on April 6, 2023, but haven’t received any assistance. I also reached out to my own people and religious organisations in Australia, Malaysia, America, and the UK via messenger and email. Some replied, saying they couldn’t help, others said they would keep me in their prayers, and a few pointed me towards humanitarian organizations. Some even blocked me or didn’t respond at all. Unfortunately, refugees and asylum seekers also face significant discrimination here. The government offers no support-refugees are arrested, mistreated, and barely fed in prison. Those who share the government’s religion receive favourable treatment, while Myanmar refugees endure the worst. One day, a Chinese woman who used to support me called angrily. She told me, "Know your situation," implying that I’m dependent and beneath her. When I share my weaknesses, they use them against me, blaming and scolding me, making my vulnerabilities a way to overpower me. But given my current situation, I can’t share everything I felt. When I do, it became their discrimination. There are four areas where refugees face mistreatment here: from the government, employers, co-workers (all harshly), and even fellow believers (though more subtly). All of this has left me feeling overwhelmed, and if no one helps, I am losing hope. I want to restart my life, build something new, and figure out my dreams.
Now see, no that's not how that works... Free will means we have the choice to sin or not just as we have a choice to repent also fyi, not a Christian just read up on the subject for a handful of years
Absolutely 100% That is why we believe Calvinism/ Reformed theology to be a heresy. Love it! Thanks for the engagement of the channel.

Absolutely
you have a very one sided view of Calvinism. Calvinists do believe in free will to sin. And only with God's grace we are able to turn to Him
@@PeterHartog Here is a quote from John Pipers desiring God’s website “This includes - as incredible and as unacceptable as it may currently seem - God’s having even brought about the Nazis’ brutality at Birkenau and Auschwitz as well as the terrible killings of Dennis Rader and even the sexual abuse of a young child:” www.desiringgod.org/messages/all-the-good-that-is-ours-in-christ-seeing-gods-gracious-hand-in-the-hurts-others-do-to-us Maybe your particular flavor of Calvinism, but certainly not systematic 5 point Calvinism. haha so true brother!
Explain this… Jesus died for ALL. 2 Peter 2:1, which says, “But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord WHO BOUGHT THEM, and bring on themselves swift destruction
What is the question? I’m assuming it’s something like if Jesus died for all but there are those who deny him, how does this work? It’s as we have said a 1000 times on this channel, the Bible clearly states Jesus died for all men Romans 5:18, but that doesn’t mean all men place their belief in His atoning sacrifice for the redemption of their sins. The debt of sin is paid if all who place their allegiance in Jesus whose work which payed it all.
Free choice, it's up to you if you want to do right or wrong. "Warning"
Wow never thought of it like this! You really have to reinterpret 95% of scripture to make Calvinism true.

Haha love it!
What happened to Exodus 20:4. And a question regarding this video "who are 'them' ?"
Hey thanks for your comments and interaction with the channel but way off my friend, this video had to do with the Egyptian Priest which is commonly referred to as magicians in our translations. Check out the upcoming live streams to get the full context.
Could it be that he allowed the magicians to perform said acts, which thus led to Pharaoh’s heart to be hardened, so that God could give such a dramatic deliverance from Egypt (which is later used as a synonym for sin)?
Yes but that is not what Calvinism/ Reformed theology teaches. This theology explicit claims that God controlled the "demonic" priests to deceive the Egyptians and Pharaoh for his own Glory. I.E. where as the bible says that what God did through Moses and Aaron was to be a sign of his power and show the Egyptians and Pharaoh that He is the God of the universe, this systematic teaches God undermindes Himself and meticulously controls the demonic forces opposed to his will for the Israelites to be let free and that this supposed to have happened for his own glory.
I would take what ever is written in the bible with a grain of salt
Thanks for your opinion friend, I only hope that this conclusion is made out of having actually read it and not out of ignorance. Love you, peace and blessings!
Apparently, the author of Exodus didn't know that all things are determined by God in eternity past... 🤷♂️
Looking forward to it! Glad you see you safely returned to your family!
Thanks Brother, Yes it was a hard 8 weeks!
Because on reformed theology, you're held accountable for things that are beyond your control and that = justice on that system.
