What’s the offset on your wheels??
Nice review - thank you.
Broski. Love the vid and can't wait for the update. Protip though. Sometimes viewers forget to like and the quick sign off doesn't give a chance to check. I started it again to make sure you get that like.....wait, is that your plan!?!?
I tackle “Frontiers” effortlessly with my Raptor, EASy… I know because I just got a brand-new 2025 Frontier Pro4X for my daily driving. Completely stock.
I like the decked drawers but only because I sleep in the bed under my topper. The decked makes it flat for mattress and storage underneath. If I didn't sleep in the bed I would just use big totes or something
Exactly. If I had a longer bed that would allow me to sleep in the bed I would definitely stick with the drawers but… here we are..
It’s not a Tumor 😂. I like your thought process.
NA V6 for ya. Not enough torque downlow where you need it. add bigger wheels and tires and overland gear and that handicaps the truck even more. literally weaker power to weight ratio than a corolla lol.
I have that same dent you have under rear view window on your bed! Those propane tanks are no joke. Cant wait to see the tank set up.
I did hurculiner on my ranger and dropped some metal in the bed and it chipped a good chunk off. Like it didn't bond right even though I followed their directions
We’ll see how this holds up. I’m giving it a 70% chance of working well lol.
Looking forward to seeing the finished product when it's nice and dry. Good work!
Hopefully the new changes work out well. Excited to see more ✊
Got a pic of it now that it’s cured and not wet? Be nice to see the finished product when it’s not still tacky and shiny.
I’ll post one on my community chat later!
Check out Trukd bed racks if u need more height. Good job on the iceco purchase, I got mine a few weeks ago.
Nice job brother. You can do bumpers sliders etc with that stuff.
Barely saw the “walk around” at least 10 minutes was devoted to looking at your big round head.
"a brain tumor" man that cracked me up 😂😂
First.....
Really nice truck. Put some red 3M Frontier decals on the front to finish the job, very inexpensive.
I have a 2wd ford ranger, and I have some 245/75r16 on them from another ranger I had but it was 4wd and had the off-road package, however I have the Hercules Terra Trac AT2 and they discontinued them and my tires are about 8-10 years old, however I wanted to go for a mud tire cause I thought it would look cool and the all terrains I have rn don't rub at all from lock to lock, I found this video very helpful my guy 🙏
So what is the actual HP and TQ gains who can see what that dam computer screen says anyway!!!
Veey cool. You go man
Iman- Great JOB!!!!~ Love it
Dang ! I thought that you were just laying it down like that when you put the caption on this shoot to give your boy some uPs and a shout out. So maybe it was that too-But that Taco is a Savage!!!! Im agreeing with you =thats straight up the baddest Taco I ever saw. I been in the Auto business all my life-so I know something about cars- but this hayseed doesn't know +&^% about off road performance and all that goes into that. WOW. Im sitting up here in 20 degree weather and im pumped up now , im gonna trade off my first gen(or not) Tundra and build out this Titan-and Im coming down there and tour with you guys! I apreciate you guys sharing this stuff with us-Be safe and we will see you
Just now came across your channel- good stuff-good friends and good trucks! Thats a nice spot that you have to wheel out your trucks too. So, I am not a certified offroad guy-and not probably as good as anyone I saw on your channel-I feel like I did pick something up watching you guys on the obstacles - I really like your build out and that whole truck-I'm about to go big with a Titan (First gen Tundra right now). Anyway, from where I'm sitting that second gen is badass for sure- but also, he really covers that gas pedal, and I think that has a lot to do with him getting thru-not only that-but it dang sure helps! Have fun and I b looking for the next tour
Did you recalibrate the speedometer, cause if you didn't then the MPG you're seeing might not be correct.
Yeah. I’m sure it’s not accurate. I do know it gets about 320 miles to a full tank on the interstate.
I was thinking about selling one of my Tacomas to get a third gen frontier but those angles on the components look awful. or did you have a big lift ? everyone always maxes their lift out not leaving any up travel. whats the point of upgrading your suspension if you're going to set it up all useless?
The angles would be a little better if I removed the 1” spacer but honestly I’ve had no reason to. I’ve wheeled this hard and thousands of miles and have had absolutely zero issues. When I had a 6” Rough country lift the angles were actually perfect and I was snapping CVs like crazy. Biggest thing here is making sure the shocks only allow for a certain amount of down travel. Keeps the cv’s from binding.
I just purchased a new 2024 Pro 4X fully loaded MSRP 49.7K, but I was lucky and got it for 0 down 41K out the door for $629 a month.
Great deal!
"Hmm, my wheels are falling off.." keeps driving.. dude seriously wtf 🤦♂️
lol the first time I noticed it, it wasnt too horrible. Plus when I first noticed it, I was at a random jiffy store in store in south GA. I wasnt about to fix it there. Aint trying to get mugged lol. Everything worked out...
will that deck drawer system fit a 25? or 24?
I’m sure. Bed size is the same
Great song choice
I can’t find them on their website and I can’t find them on Amazon
Can you get these lights off of Amazon? I can’t find them.
I really think just getting more rear articulation from your truck will help tremendously. Lack of droop really hurts on those crossed up sections. Then getting that locker will put the build on another level.
You cannot, I repeat cannot tell if a shock is bad by pressing it down with bodyweight. The only way to check a shocks condition & performance is on a shock dyno. The Bilsteins may use a completely different speed sensitive valve arrangement compared to the RC. One may be high pressure, the other low pressure. One may compress easy, the other may extend slow, etc. ....it doesn't mean squat. A shock dyno that moves the shock as fast as your suspension is going to give you the answers. No human can oscillate a shock that fast. You can literally remove one shock off the rear axle and you won't be able to tell in normal street driving. The springs hold up the truck and absorb the bumps....the shocks keep the springs from oscillating more than one or two times. For a non pre-runner/desert race truck, don't over think shocks...they ain't doing much. Increased shock travel & bump stops can change slow speed off road performance so definitely make sure that those parameters are in order. Also, if going with longer shocks for more travel, check your brake line length to avoid brake line damage.
Good to know! I know this wasn’t exactly scientific 😂.
@@4wdAdventurz 1st never listen to anyone with zero content on their channel. Second if using body weight to press a shock down means nothing trying this on a new one vs an old one will make it clear.
Looks like you are still using your stock bumpstops. You need to get extended ones to protect your shocks. Those are effectively now functioning as your bumpstops and it is very hard on the shocks. I'm using Perry Parts bumpstops on mine, and they have a Titan swap version which is what I'm using for the longer travel of my Dobinsons suspension. Simple upgrade, and will make things much more comfortable when the suspension gets compressed. Also, the function of the shocks is to dampen the movement that the springs allow. You are just looking at the valving between the two shocks. The Bilsteins are firmer and better set for road use while the RC ones are softer and will allow for rougher terrain, but at slower speeds. Don't think that they are done just yet.
Yes. That is an upgrade I’ve been meaning to get around to. I’m running Durobumps up front and need to get match long travels ones out back. I’ve got Dobinsons IMS up front. I would like to get the Dobinsons leaf pack out back also..
@@4wdAdventurz I highly recommend the Dobinsons leaf packs. Makes this truck feel planted on the road and they flex wonderfully. Would compliment the front suspension setup quite well. Get the Dobinsons shackles and greaseable pins as well. Makes life very easy and good serviceability for all the mud that you are in.
@ I’m actually using the Z1 greasable shackles. I honestly didn’t even know Dobinsons made them..
@4wdAdventurz yep, they aren't lift shackles like the Z-1 pieces, but are a nice upgrade. The Z-1 ones will give you a bit more lift over the spring packs i would think.
Those RCs are done. Anything will be better than those sadly
Yeah. I had a feeling they were so easy to push in.
china is making good shit these days
Your rear sway bar is the problem, time do delete it also maybe Bilstein extend travel shocks in the rear should help as well for budget
I’m sure the sway bar isn’t helping but I had more flex in the rear when I had the RC lift. As you saw in the video, longer shocks is definitely needed. I’ll probably end up taking off the rear sway bar.. might even do a before and after video of it..
Appreciate the long vids man, I use to post videos and will probably get back into it. But there’s just so much we record that makes these videos much longer. 👌
Those billies are made in USA. Prob lot better quality than those Ching Chong Chineseum shocks. Yup. I said it. Lol also, like others mentioned, and prob obvious, but remove that big metal bar connecting the axle to the frame. I removed the front off my 23' pro4x. It's not too bad for daily driving, just need to be mindful of added tendancy to roll. Although, mine is not titan swapped.
How’s it riding with the longer shocks? Better?
I actually haven’t driven it yet lol
@@4wdAdventurzwell update us after you take it for a ride. 🤣
Awe man. Are you hauling heavy or towing? If not, toss that sway bar. I got rid of mine and hardly notice they're gone other than it feeling a little tippy once in a while. That'll help your articulation at full extension
I might do a video on this. Show it full flex before and after🤔🤔
@@4wdAdventurz yes please
Ditch the rear sway bars gain articulation
I will. But those shocks definitely weren’t helping. 😂
@ yep needed more droop 🤙🏽
You may want to do the rear diff breather mod, IT IS IN-EXPENSIVE. Z-1 has the kit. OEM breather valve collects dirt and plugs up, causing pressure inside the differential and blowing axle seals, thus a gear oil leak issue. And with the water crossings water can get in diff, you may want to change that gear oil out. My 2023 PRO4X manual says 75w-90 synthetic. 2.75 quarts. May wanna do front also.. 1.5 quarts.
Yes! Definitely going to do the breather soon. I’ll be getting the M2 05 installed and re-gearing the rear. When I do that, I will add the breather.
Nissan = Gay
😂😂😂
Good job brother despite the rain!
Thank you sir
They have a swaybar on the rear of the new frontiers?! No wonder you can’t flex it out.
😂 yeah. That will be coming off as well.
@@4wdAdventurz A sway bar delete will definitely help you flex 💪. I recently have been looking at purchasing a Pro4x and selling my 18 F150. Just trying to figure out if we can afford it right now
Correction. Stock application 23”
I have a set of rancho mono tube shocks you can have. Low miles. Lifted application.
