It had good pen. It operates like a mig in the sense it adds filler.., but very small area of concentration. And no spatter.

As my auto teacher said, everything works better with lube. Lol. This was dry, but it ended up marring the die a bit. I found anti size worked great as a lubricant. I am having a hardened one made now.

Maybe for max effort, but it would have a Better chance at catching rocks and debris from the wheel

No, at 30k usd its a little excessive for me. I could totally see how much time it would save over years though. Also with the heat concentration in such a tight area, would help a ton with metals warping or moving during the weldout process

Yup! Providing that the plug fits or there is an adapter of course. This one here can operate at / draw upto 80amps.

Would be happy to give my opinion! In my mind there are a few layers to this, first of all i'd ask myself the question "What do I want most out of this." 4 things come to mind, Power, Sound, Looks, And last but not least, the install cost or time. My honest thoughts on a Cat-back. If the car already has an NPP exhaust, its going to flow quite well, and even sound good when it's on a rip. Although it weighs almost 80lbs and some people don't love the square tips, it does do its job quite well, as a high flowing, virtually drone free exhaust system for the C8 corvette. Vs the aftermarket options out there, they will change the volume, and pitch/tone, have a different aesthetic to them, and give the car a unique appeal in both of those regards, making it more noticeably personalized to the owners taste. There likely isn't tons and tons of power to pick up from swapping it out, although the weight savings and power gain combined definitely add up to more than just peak power numbers from a drivers perspective. Cat-delete/High-flow cats. Both of these will make power, Especially when accompanied by some good tuning, but not needed. Cat-Deletes are NOT road legal. (I know you specified high flow cats, just figured i would ad that in there for others reading.) BE AWARE: Just because some brands promise that there is NO check engine light with their high-flow C8 cats, DOES NOT mean they meet or exceed emissions compliance. This simply means that they have enough o2 storage within the cat to keep the oxygen sensor happy. That being said i'm going to do a shameless plug here and note; OUR ATLANTIC BUILT C8 HIGH-FLOW CATS ARE EMISSIONS COMPLIANT, (EPA# ON THE CAT ITSELF) & NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. So in short, Depending which high flow cats you go with, you can end up with a real noticeable power gain, improved exhaust note and more volume, retaining all factory features that came with the car and the NPP exhaust. But, it's more a "low key" type of mod, that's not many people would notice, which sometimes the end user would rather something people can see and get all googly eyed over haha. So that's kind of the stuff I would personally take into consideration, it's tough call as they both have their different "large impact" features to the car! Funny you say that, I can definitely make and offer a valved setup! (I offer them for other makes and models) was thinking of doing a slip on design that retains the full OEM exhaust, and the valved section would include a resonator to clean up the sound. Would just depend on space/figuring it out. I can set them up to open via boost, or just by remote/key fob.

@@AtlanticBuilti went from a 2017 tundra flex fuel. It never felt or ran as good as the 2024 that i have now. Turbo has way more torque.

At least be smart about it and say you’re disappointed that the machining process for the *new* V6 was a disaster and you wish there was a V8 option. You sound dumb when you say “should have a V8” when the Tundra has been offered with a V6 for 25 years now

It would fit yes, It might be a little rowdy though! Given the Tundra TRD Pro axle-back section doesn't have the rear resonator that comes on the standard models. So it might be a bit much... Unless of course that's what you're into! I do have a couple options for muffler length on the site. I'd suggest the TRD Pro trims have a larger muffler than this one, designed for the standard models. Still have some testing to do. 🤙

@@jorgealejandro5788 would be the same install! I believe the front section of the exhaust is the exact same on all trims, someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong!

Believe me, I'm a big V8 guy through and through. But these trucks actually sound really good!
