I am anxiously waiting our in Alberta but likely to be some time Doubly excited because the XLT standard range is what I have on order, so it was nice to see an XLT. Love it. Disappointed there is no tail light bar across the tailgate. Have seen them on some of the US models of the XLT on video, but I also know the Canadian order guide options was much more limited and scaled down compare to the American ones I was able to access. Just like only the smaller screen was available for the XLT in Canada (bigger screen was available in the US on some XLT options). Lastly, i was curious if they were going to remove the Lightning badge with the American flag on the Canadian product...and at 1:59 it appears they did not put it on for Canada. Makes sense. Funny you mention that missing flag! Makes sense I suppose that Canadian vehicles won't have it... Unless maybe the fancyboi models get those added touches, such as the tailgate light..lol I'm not a dealer though! Where in Alberta? I'm in Edmonton awaiting mine - Modules Popped today and Trucks shows up in Ford Pass App to Activate now. My Dealer Delivered one on June 10th to a lucky guy.
@@Kittzz I am in Airdrie. Cam Clark Ford actually got their first one yesterday. A Lariat trim. I was able to pop over at lunch today to take a peak at it (no driving it). Pretty awesome, especially when he had a regular Lariat right beside it. He said they just got notification today of another order going into production, but not mine. I believe he said they had 30+ orders (4 of which were his customers) but were originally told they were likely only going to get 12 of them this year.
I wish you would have reviewed the window sticker. It appears to have the premium package that includes the 20” Lariat wheels and color keyed door handles.
Hey what province you in ?I'm in Ontario.thinking of one of these as 8 do about 900 kms per week back and forth to the cottage . Currently have an 18 xlt 5.0 ...going broke.haha.
New Brunswick! This truck replaced our 2012 5.0 truck... For the same reason you're saying! (Not quite as much driving per week) zero complaints with this thing as far as how it works!
@@AtlanticBuilt ballpark (not sure if you mentioned it in any vids ) what was the out the door price on the xlt extended range ?I'd have to play with some numbers to determine if it's worth it haha.
Has anybody put a 5th wheel hitch on one of these yet? Also, I think TSLA pioneered the FRONK several years ago. Its nice that ford is catching up though😉
@@AtlanticBuilt yeah, range is going to be bad either way. I just much prefer a 5th wheel for towing. I have a Model X I am planning on towing a 6x12 Uhaul from CO to MI. I am planning on a 60 to 80% reduction in my range. I THINK I can make it, though my Chevy will be following close behind :)
When looking at the bed cleats on the rear seat, it looks like the passenger rear seat is tilted down a bit from the center. Is that true? At ua-cam.com/video/P0YYpumOxPc/v-deo.html . Other things that bug me for my wave #3 XLT 312A order, besides not getting the rear "signature" light bar (which still shows as one of my order exterior selections), is that the February Build & Price showed the 8 way seats w/ memory, and therefore the 10 way driver seat should have that as well, but I do not see that. Someone also listed the 10 way seats having ventilation along with heat, but that has disappeared. Sliding rear windows was/is shown with the 12" screen in the B & P page images for the XLT, but that is not provided either, it seems. I made my order based on those details and I bet the dealer had no idea at that time they were to be removed later by Ford later. Class action suit for maybe 1000 XLT premium orders? Give me some money back! Or should I shut the H up and be thankful and whimper over to the dealer for getting a 2022 model? I wish Ford would under-promise and over-deliver.
is that tesla supercharger adapter included by ford, or the dealer ? or did you order it as an option ? in the states, i am fairly certain we don't get them. perhaps it's because your DC fast charger network up there is more limited than ours in the states ?
So the adapter was put there by Ford , not the dealer. It's actually so you could charge a Tesla from the truck haha, not charge the truck from the Tesla charger.
@@AtlanticBuilt ah ok ! that is hillarious. i have heard nothing about that here in the states on any of the videos done down here, but the vast majority of the videos are being done using press trucks/dealer mannequins. perhaps it is there, i will find out; i have a platinum build coming at some point this summer. enjoy your new truck when you take delivery !

Does the XLT trim have any real leather in it, or is it all synthetic material?
Just the armrest/console. The steering wheel and shifter are wrapped in a leather-ish material aswell
