Great question. It is what you should use on full aniline leather that needs conditioning. On leather that you are okay with being slightly slick to the touch and want to do cleanings/protecting more often. Maybe you are nervous about a year long ceramic coating and want something a little bit more simple to use. Thats when I am reaching for LeatherCoat

We do not recommend applying Mohs EVO to your windscreen or exterior plastics!

For the glass on the panoramic roof, we recommend View or QuickView. Or CanCoat EVO as a more versatile option

Hey there, sorry to hear about the misunderstanding. Unfortunately, there is going to be a scent due to the chemicals that need to be in an effective iron decontamination product. With these Redefined products, we heavily updated the formula, helping mask the typical rotten egg scent. We don't recommend using decontamination products in any sort of inside environment where there isn't good ventilation.

You have a good point but let us explain. Our common customer for this product isn't working on absolutely beat vehicles. They are looking to take their car from 7/10 to as close to perfect as possible. The other aspect is because of content creation efficiency. We don't have the extra time to put 8 hours of paint correction into a car for a simple product UA-cam video like this one. We do appreciate your feedback though and would love to do a proper project series on something more beat up in the future!

We don't recommend applying this to vinyl trim. But you can use it on leather on your doors as long as you prepare the surface properly!

We always recommend at least 12 hours in a controlled environment after the application of CanCoat. If you are going to do this then we would apply Cure overtop after! Also, public car washes are not going to be a good means for preparation of the surface before the coating. We recommend a hand wash and decontamination process too.

We don't have a single product that can protect every interior surface. Preserve is the most versatile being able to go on plastic and rubber surfaces. All in one products don't provide the results that we strive for when we deliver high quality products.

We need more information. What are you using it on? What towels are you using?

@@gyeonusa Mix of TRC Pearl and sometimes soft MF scrub pads. P&S Sidekick express to be exact. Happened on 11 year old black Mercedes leather and a ‘23 Chevy, the chevy was dirty enough to need strong. Thanks

@@Chunkychocolatemilk7 There is a chance that you are removing some dye. This sometimes happens, depending on the type of leather and how it has been maintained in the past. Is there dye showing on the towels after you use them?

If it is a photochromatic visor then we don't recommend using Mohs EVO on it. We would lean towards our Ceramic Detailer instead!

So you should wipe off primer! You should use it like any other polish. But if you want to fully remove it with a degreasing product like Gyeon Prep to coat shortly after you use it, then you can. You are able to apply a traditional sealant over it.

Yes it can. But don't expect the same results as a proper maintenance wash with a decontamination step.

Thank you. Put I am having an Issue with applying the coating. It left lines in the paint after only doing a two by two section. The paint looked blemish and blotchy. I have applied these coatings many times before and never had this issue. Any ideas? I went from waiting a min to wiping off righy after.

Yes it is!

Put a drop of shampoo on it and work it throughout the pad with water. Rinse it out after!

An open ceramic coating bottle should be used within a couple months of opening. Shelf life is more towards a year though.

You should be able to use just a single pad with primer as long as its in good shape initially. Since its not removing a lot of material and should be the light last step. Just keep cleaning it with a brush when necessary!

This should not be used on rubber. We recommend our other product Preserve for that use!

@@gyeonusa I thought this was meant for the interior. But you can also use this on plastic and rubber parts on the outside? What about the piano black trim on the outside bumper?

@@kristofjanssens98 This product is meant to be used on exterior plastics, not interior! Not recommended for use on rubber. You can use it on piano black but we like to use paint coatings on that type of delicate surface like Pure or Cancoat EVO.

@@gyeonusa My answer was a response to your advice to use preserve for the rubber parts, not Trim evo. I thought preserve was for the interior. I knew Trim evo is for the exterior. Can you use preserve on rubber parts on the outside?

You absolutely can!

Yep its an upgrade. Easier to use and more durability are the two main improvements!

The issue you would run into is that the LeatherShield will repel a lot of the dressing. So the surface will not have the results normally found when using the dressing.

@@gyeonusa thanks for the fast reply! That makes sense. Do you think though it would damage the coating if I were to use say Gyeon Leather Coat or a similar product on top of it?

@@gimaru1 It would not damage the coating to do so

Half a bottle left over is quite normal! A second layer wont yield much better results. So the wiping isn't necessary unless you see any sort of uneven coating on the surface. The "do not wipe off" is stated on the website because you aren't removing the coating, you want it to soak into the surface. Where as with paint coatings you actually wipe off the excess coating on the paint during the application process. We are just helping differentiate the two.

@@gyeonusa I gave it around 1 minute after coating the entire seat and started from where I began the coating. Worried it should've been longer but I also thought due to the heat and humidity here in Florida it should coat much quicker.

Yes, once the coating is cured, it is then safe to touch without PPE!
