Hey guys, I have a two tone vehicle. Some of the trim is plastic and some of the trim is rubber on the bumpers - but it's all light brown. Can I use Trim EVO on light brown plastic and will it make the plastic look darker, and less faded? Should I use Preserve on the light brown rubber? Will Preserve darken the faded rubber? Thanks!
Good question, they say it lasts up to 50% longer, but up to 50% could also mean 10% in most cases haha I think they should have done a side by side compare since the new product is 37% more expensive.
@@Jean-Paul_1984 I have used 3 bottles of the regular Gyeon Trim the past few years. It works great. But it doesn’t last a year on the exterior. Maybe 6 months. So maybe the Evo can improve on that. But for 37% more… That is quitte a lot more money. Have to wait on some reviews, for now im sticking with the original!
Why is your mild leather cleaner ph 10? You stated on your Zendesk website that it's ph 7, but two months ago you changed the ph level to 10. I feel misled, because I bought the product due to its ph neutrality.
Not sure why it said that Leather Cleaner Mild was ph 7. This information was inaccurate. Us here at the USA division of Gyeon do not directly run the Zendesk web pages... but we do apologize for the misleading specifications.
How long does the bottle last ? If I open it the first time can I keep it for a later use and how long 1 year 2 years ? How long does the left over product last for because we don’t always want to use it all in one hit.. it’s not cost effective. Thanks
Can it be used on rubber such as around the windows. Under the windshield it is plastic, but around it is rubber. My bumper also has piano black trim, can you go over it too?
@@gyeonusa I thought this was meant for the interior. But you can also use this on plastic and rubber parts on the outside? What about the piano black trim on the outside bumper?
@@kristofjanssens98 This product is meant to be used on exterior plastics, not interior! Not recommended for use on rubber. You can use it on piano black but we like to use paint coatings on that type of delicate surface like Pure or Cancoat EVO.
@@gyeonusa My answer was a response to your advice to use preserve for the rubber parts, not Trim evo. I thought preserve was for the interior. I knew Trim evo is for the exterior. Can you use preserve on rubber parts on the outside?
I'm looking for a product to protect interior plastic parts. Can Q2 Trim be applied to interior plastic parts, including piano black, for anti-scratch purposes?
We do not recommend this product for interior plastics, for that we recommend our product Preserve. Also in order to actually protect piano black, we recommend paint protection film.
@@puxiaotian611 Preserve for protecting plastics. Trim Cleaner for cleaning plastics. LeatherShield EVO for protecting leather. Leather Cleaner Natural for cleaning leather. Fabric Coat for protecting textiles. Fabric Cleaner for cleaning them!
Can't wait to see it on the us website

Look forward to trying it. Could it be used for the plastic fender wells?
Yes it can! This is the product that we would recommend for that use.
@@gyeonusa Most excellent, thanks for the response
What's the difference with the non-evo?

@@frederickontour1478 thanks! I have the non-evo and it’s incredibly good. So not sure what they have to improve 😅

The main difference is going to be longevity. Non-EVO up to 2 years. EVO up to 3 years!
@@frederickontour1478 You should be getting more than 6 months of duration... What are you using to clean and prepare the surface before application?
How is this with oil resistance, if using on an engine cover?
I definitely gonna try that

An open ceramic coating bottle should be used within a couple months of opening. Shelf life is more towards a year though.

This should not be used on rubber. We recommend our other product Preserve for that use!

We have heard of it being done, but we can't recommend doing this for application
Can it be used in interior plastics as well?
We don't recommend this product for use on interior plastics. For that we would reach for our product Preserve
