This channel is being created in hopes that people find it helpful while doing basic maintenance to their motorcycles. I would like to put my years as a motorcycle technician to good use for people other than myself and customers. I have plans to expand the channel to include, welding, fabrication, and machining.
Norsemen Custom Cycles is dedicated to delivering high quality motorcycle builds, which will be designed by the customer and technicians. Professional maintenance and repair services will also be included.

Dude. Super helpful extra informative and well presented vileo
Thanks man excellently done.
Great video ,I've a 06 dyna street Bob & I'm just wondering why does the belt squeak so much when the wheel turns 🤔 thank you
@@damiendyle they all do it. It's a rubber belt the teeth can make some noise on the pulleys. It's also extremely exaggerated because the camera is so close to the source of the noise.
@norsemencustomcycles7289 thanks for that bud 👍
Outstanding, thank you.
listen to it , belt too tight at 5:50
@@340rps fake news
Thank you
Good video
I hear of races walking back, but, the question is why! Don't assume it was installed incorrectly. Is it because of a bent main shaft, clutch abuse or high RPM?
You did not have to grind it off! All you had to do was loosen or remove the main shaft nut on the right side and push the shaft to the clutch side. It will move about 3/8" Then the tool will fit!
Solid info brother
Thx great information
Do you think that putting a little talcum powder could help protect the belt (like there is on the inner tubes) and also reduce friction ?
Would be nice if you can mention all the tools needed from the beginning please
Quando non va piu meglio cambiarlo completamente costa 230 euro
suzuki savage 650- ..has marks like tape measure on back and some marks are higher/like every 4th 1 is taller. so earier.. but the jam nut when torqued... changes the belt on the back sprocket .../every dam time you torque it lol... so is added guess were marks be when tight hahahaha dam nightmare! still. im live dirt road nd the belt is way betterthan chain !

Where can I find part 2 of this video? Good job👍🚀
Super helpful
Nice video, thanks so much!!!! U sabe my life... where is parte 2 ??? Thanks a lot!!!😊
Man that was a really informative video especially the armature part most people don't even include the motor side of the starter. It was very helpful ,great information! Thanks !
I have watched a lot of different tutorials and many are very good. What I like about this one, is you smoothly transitioned from each step and explained why you are doing what you are doing! I found this excellent. And..... there is nothing wrong with learning something knew no matter how many years you have been riding. 30+ YEARS for me and still learning something new! Thanks bro!
Thank you for explaining the correct way to adjust throttle cables .
The sound in the belt when rotating the tire is normal?
❤❤❤❤
Good video
EXCELLENT FULLY EXPLAINED VIDEO SIR. EVEN STEVIE WONDER COULD FOLLOW THOSE INSTRUCRIONS!!😂
Great video learned a lot from it
I have an 03 FXD with that same starter. My brushes are around 350 one thousands of an inch. Not close to the 433 you state as spec. Where can the brushes be purchased. Having trouble finding them. Thank You.
Great imfo 👍 good video 👀😎
Hey Mr church thanks for the info however I believe I have to start from o again it was a bit frustrating to put everything back together on my 03 1100 Shadow Sabre but I enjoy wrenching and fixing things myself with the limited knowledge I have the manual held a lot when I’m stuck but not much illustration on cable adjustment I have beyond free play throttle and your video reaffirms I need to redo it step by step with the same patience you displayed thanks again psi I have the attitude that nothing mechanical can never intimidate me or discourage me 😊
Those pliers are invaluable! Do lots of (automobile) wheel bearings. Lots of evil snap rings.
Brother Joe, that inner primay race, was installed correctly. It just walked in!!
Thanks
you should of showen the return cable adjustment
Great video! Where is part 2?
good video
Thanks for removing plastic guard so we can see tension, just watched a video were guy left plastic cover on and you could not see tension of belt, I determined today mine was too loose compared to exact bike that was just serviced. I have no concern about doing adjustment without the tool, very good video really not much different than adjusting my older chain bikes, thanks for good video
