Concerning misplacing stuff, like castor wheels . . . I'm a bit your senior and from experience, just plan on allotting an hour or two per project, looking for the tool you had IN YOUR HAND not 5 minutes prior. About the only thing more frustrating is a drill press chuck that won't center or a Magic Shop Door. Oh, ya! I got me one of those doors on my shop . . . Pass through it either direction and it erases your short-term memory. Suddenly, you're overwhelmed with, "Why am I out here?" Acute episodes of MSDS* (not what you think) can be dealt with by writing down what tool you went to your shop to fetch and carrying that note in your teeth, so you don't lose track of it too. *MSDS Magic Shop Door Syndrom 😂

Drill bits . . . ? That's kinda vague. There's numbered & lettered & fractional & augers & Forstner & probably more. I'm personal friends with the Drill Fairy and if I were to ask her to pay you a visit, I know the first thing she'll say will be what kind or how many or how long or what tang configuration or what cutting profile and on and on . . . you know . . . girls just jabber on forever, so maybe zero in on what you're REALLY thinking, and I'll run it by her.

It doesn't ride in the table saw miter slot like a traditional tapering jig. It rides along the fence. You set the fence to the width of the jig, clamp your piece in, raise your blade and push it through like you would rip cut a board. Thanks for watching!

I get 6 ft. 'cedar' pickets at lowes for 2.37 in my area (texas). I believe they are actually Japanese cedar. For more than double that price you can get an 8ft picket. At that price, I can buy 2 6 footers and take the best wood out of them. But I don't. I can make them work. Also If i was going to spend more on pickets, I would get western red cedar pickets that have a more consistent thickness and require less sanding. I make a lot of planters but I don't sell on marketplace. I sell at a vendor booth. Also I don't make this style planter since they are EVERYWHERE. Unfortunately a lot of people cant see the difference between a 3 picket planter and one that is pocket holed or framed.
