Thanks, James, for the plans and making such detailed videos! It made it so much easier to build! And thanks for taking the time to watch my video! It means alot!
My friend, beautiful tribute you made to your friend, an excellent job done with care and perfection in detail. Excellent video, I learned how to make one for myself. LOL
When I built mine, it did the same thing with the back slats couldn’t figure out what I did wrong, but it all comes out pretty good in the end. Thanks for your video. I enjoyed it.
Yeah, I watched a recent video of a guy using hardwood for the rocker. He got some major chipout from his router. Bit I've learned, sometimes you just have to keep moving forward!
Great job ! I haven't tackled anything like that yet. Love that Rigid oscillating sander. That one is on my wish list for sure. You did your friend proud with that chair.
@20:20 - out of seemingly nowhere, musical accompaniment (from the matrix?) is just "there". As mysterious as that is, perhaps it is a glimmer of hope. For those, who put any faith in the theory that our lives are merely algorithms running against a background of a simulation, perhaps losing friends to end of life circumstances is not so final. Maybe we'll all catch up with each other down the road. My condolences for your loss. Perhaps one day soon, that MASTERPIECE (good job!) might be seen swaying back and forth on its own. It could be a slight breeze propelling it or . . . perhaps it's Jim chiming in from a separate reality merely enjoying your handy work. 😊
I do love the chair! The end of the video is perfect. He would have definitely approved of your finished product! Great job
Thanks so much! I miss looking up to see if he's on his way over to hang out.
I’m sorry for the loss of your friend and neighbor. Your chair turned out beautiful. Thank you for sending me a link to see the video. ❤

Awesome job buddy!
Thanks! Couldn't have done it without you and the awesome laser work you did engraving the name plate!
